00:00Twenty-one Filipino seafarers who were attacked by Huthi rebels in the Southern Red Sea have been rescued.
00:08The Philippine government is now working to rescue another Filipino who was left in the ship.

00:29now we don't know what to do.
00:33We are doing everything we can.
00:37A few hours after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. announced this,
00:42and after he was ordered by various agencies to do everything they can,
00:47almost all of the Filipino crew members were rescued
00:51by the MB tutor who was attacked by Huthi rebels in the Red Sea this Wednesday.
00:56As of around 10.30 to 11.00pm last night,
01:03there was a rescue by the combined international forces there.
01:15They were extracted from the ship because the ship was adrift in the Southern Red Sea.
01:24It was immobilized but stable. It didn't sink.
01:30So, the 21 Filipino seafarers were extracted and they were boarded onto a security forces ship
01:42and taken to a safer port.
01:45There is another Filipino who was left inside the ship
01:48and the Department of Migrant Workers is coordinating with the authorities to rescue him.
01:54The agency is talking to the families of those who were rescued for the help they will be given.
01:59According to President Marcos, they will continue their cooperation with the UK Maritime Trade Operations.
02:05They are also looking for ways to safely transfer the crew members to Djibouti.

02:29In a statement from the Department of Foreign Affairs,
02:32they condemned the attack that the DFA called on the United Nations Member States
