00:00A motorcycle was found in Paco, Manila, but the suspect was also arrested and the motorcycle was recovered just a few hours after the crime.

00:09EJ Gomez was on the scene.

00:14In the CCTV footage, you would think that the man was the one driving the motorcycle.

00:19In front of him, there was also a motorcycle parked.

00:22This policeman was disguised and was arrested because the motorcycle he was driving was stolen.

00:29The theft happened at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.

00:32The victim here is a 38-year-old delivery rider.

00:38We found out that he parked the motorcycle in front of his house and he left the key.

00:45When he came back, he saw the suspect who was driving his motorcycle.

00:51He tried to chase him, but nothing happened.

00:55The victim went around the place where the motorcycle was stolen.

01:00The victim saw the motorcycle parked in a convenience store in Pedro, Paco, Manila, where the victim asked for help from the local police.

01:14The suspect was arrested just a few hours after the theft.

01:18In defense of the suspect,

01:19I took the motorcycle so I could get the phone.

01:22It was my first time. I'm really sorry.

01:25And I was jailed again.

01:27The suspect is under the custody of the Santa Ana Police and is facing a defamation case under Republic Act 10883 or Anti-Car Napping Law.
