Although Sunday marks Iowa Speedway's Cup Series debut, some familiar faces know the track all too well. Alex Weaver catches up with the Iowa pros ahead of their return to the facility.

00:00We're going to Iowa, NASCAR Cup Series.
00:07You, Eric Jones, and Ryan Blaney are the only drivers active in the field that have won
00:13in the Truck Series and the XFINITY Series.
00:15Wow, good stuff, Eric Jones, career win number one for William Byron.
00:20That's cool.
00:21I didn't know that stat, but tracks I'm sure are different than when we race there in trucks
00:26and XFINITY.
00:27It's a fast track and a lot of characters, so I think it'll be a good race.
00:31Iowa Speedway, it puts on a great show, the fans there are super dedicated.
00:34I got my first truck win there, so it's a lot of special memories and moments at Iowa
00:39and they do such a great job at that racetrack and I'm excited to get there.
00:43His second win in Iowa, Christopher Bell.
00:46Ever since I first went there in the Truck Series in the XFINITY car, I'm like, man,
00:50can we please get a cup race at Iowa?
00:52It's a great racetrack.
00:56The banking in the corners is very progressive, so as you run lower, the car handles way worse,
01:03but the track's shorter.
01:04And so it gives you multiple opportunities of where to run the car, I think that's really
01:08cool about the track.
01:09Eric Jones wins for the second time in his career.
01:12Yeah, baby!
01:13It's fun going back somewhere you've had success at any time and always said it would be a
01:18good venue for the Cup Series, not just the track, but the area and the fan turnout we
01:23get.
01:24I'm looking forward to it.
01:25It's a great racetrack race and I think all the drivers can say they're happy to be going there.
