00:00If you go through this pit, there is a very pretty sight down there, just if you go through
00:10and then on the right you can see it.
00:14In Tudor Square and I've been doodling all over this big doodle dome.
00:30It's a fun thing for me because I love drawing on clear material, whether it be Perspex or
00:36glass and the pen works really smoothly on it and it's great to be in Sheffield and doing
00:40this in my home country.
00:44It's a real fun thing.
00:45I've always had this dream to do things like this with glass boxes or domes and things
00:50and trap myself inside a world of doodles.
00:53And what's the reaction been so far?
00:55I think people have liked it.
00:57Some people have been taking photos and stuff and looking through and watching me draw and
01:02met some people who are familiar with my work and signed some things and stuff.
01:07Yeah, it's been really nice to be here.
01:09It's been fun.
01:10Yeah, I've really enjoyed it so far.
01:12And can you share a little bit about your background?
01:14Because I understand you started off selling works on the street for as little as a pound
01:18and now you've had works going for hundreds of thousands of pounds.
01:23Yeah, sure.
01:24So I started by kind of drawing little A4 drawings and then taking them out into the
01:30street and trying to trade them for food and drinks and things.
01:34And then over time the drawings kind of began to become a bit worth more because my work
01:40was getting more noticed by people taking videos and stuff like that.
01:44And that's kind of led to where I am today.
01:46And that whole kind of process has been kind of captured in the documentary that I'm in
01:51that's showing here at Sheffield Dog Fest.
01:53So I'm really excited to show that to people.
01:55Cool.
01:56And can you just tell me finally a little bit more about the creative process?
01:59Yeah, sure.
02:01So when I create these things I just kind of draw shapes.
02:05I draw little like circles, squares and they kind of develop into these characters.
02:09They're not really meant to be anything in particular most of the time.
02:13So like things like this, it kind of looks a bit like a human but it's also more of just
02:18a made up kind of creature.
02:20And it's not really saying anything.
02:22It's just doodles to make myself pleased really.
02:26It's very simple and it's a simple process.
02:30Sometimes it looks more complicated than it is but really it's just kind of me satisfying
02:35an itch to draw really.
02:38Thanks very much.
02:39Thank you.
02:59Thank you.
03:29Thank you.
