00:00You'll know, Nick, the way these things work. When you want to do an interview with a high-profile
00:03politician, you've got to put a bid in, and you go back and forth, and you try to persuade them
00:08that they need to do that interview. And you arrange a time slot. And we'd given them several
00:13different days that we were available, including Friday and Sunday of last week. And they came
00:19back and said the only day that he was available, that fitted, was the Thursday. So at that point,
00:24we didn't know what his Normandy schedule was, his D-Day schedule was like. And we said,
00:28OK, if that's the only option, we'll come and interview him on Thursday. So the time slot was
00:32very much provided by Conservative campaign headquarters. I think we were very busy ourselves
00:38covering D-Day. Quite frankly, we would never have dreamt of asking him to come back and do
00:42an interview. That's the slot that was offered by CCHQ. We were told it was the only one.
00:46So we turned up and did the interview. How late was he?
00:50Not hugely, about 15 minutes.
