00:00The Euros are returning for the summer with the 24 best football teams celebrating the international tournament that's scheduled to last until the middle of July.
00:09Spain are in Group B with the likes of Italy and Croatia with their first match on June the 15th.
00:16To celebrate we've come to Bomba on the edge of the city centre to find out how the owner here is bringing Spain to Holbeck and what he's looking forward to this year.
00:26Bomba started as a lockdown project really, we were making paella at home for our neighbours, people in our town and we were delivering paella by bike and we picked up the pans the next day and that went very well and it just all moved on from there.
00:46We ended up in Kirkgate market for about six months I think and then we found this place and we've been here for two years.
00:56We've just seen you making some of your famous sangria, could you tell us a bit about the process, how do you make sangria?
01:03Well it's quite simple to make, you just need to be generous with the fruit and we put vermouth in there and you can also put brandy in but we make it with a nice Spanish vermouth, some sugar, some nice red wine and just a bit of lemonade to top it off.
01:21It's just like a perfect drink to have especially in the summer with our food here at Bomba.
01:26Who will you be supporting in the Euros?
01:29Yeah I suppose a tricky one, I support England but if they get knocked out I'm definitely going to support Spain.
01:35The staff here love football and we've got the pub just next to us where people are watching football so there is a good atmosphere, you can feel it building up.
01:44So it's been great to come down to Bomba to try this classic drink from Spain and I'd say if their sangria is as good as their football I don't think they've got anything to worry about this year.
01:54Cheers!
