00:00To ensure that we succeed in this world and in the hereafter, two words that need to be
00:23given attention to are Raflah, Lalai, and the second is Istiqbar, arrogant to Allah
00:28and to all existing creatures. These two things are the ones that are
00:32proven in the struggle of the story of Prophet Musa, which we want to review in this episode.
00:58I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan
01:04They said,
01:07We believe in the Lord of the worlds,
01:17the Lord of Moses and Aaron.
01:27God Almighty has spoken the truth.
01:34Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
01:36Alhamdulillah, wassalatu wassalamu ala rasulillah wa ala alihi wa man wala.
01:39Shadadah ilah illallah, shadadah muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh.
01:42Allahumma sada'ala sayyidina muhammadi wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma'in.
01:46Amma ba'du.
01:47How are you ladies and gentlemen?
01:49We meet again in the series of My Quran Time, Quran Salad Infaq today.
01:53Together, we look back at pages 165 and 166 of Surah Al-A'raf,
02:00the story of Prophet Moses, which is one of more than 30 surahs in the Quran,
02:06which teaches us.
02:09And today, we will have a beautiful insight from the words of Allah
02:13with Al-Fadhil Ustaz Shamil Issa.
02:15How are you Ustaz?
02:16Alhamdulillah.
02:17Assalamualaikum.
02:18And also to Ustaz Tara, how are you today?
02:20Alhamdulillah.
02:22Do you have a lecture today, Ustaz?
02:23In a little while.
02:24In a little while, okay.
02:25Because there is Ustaz Shamil beside, the lecture is a little late.
02:28MashaAllah.
02:29And I would like to thank those of you who are at home,
02:32who may have two, four, or even a whole lot of books,
02:36you can put them in the comment section.
02:38And also, we welcome the presence of our Istiqamah group today, Ustaz.
02:42So, let's start our session with a prayer.
02:45Subhanakallah.
02:46Ilmalana illa ma'allam tana innaka antala alimul haqim.
02:51Rabbi zidniya ilman.
02:53Ameen, Ya Rabbul Alamin.
02:54A while ago, we were reading verses 121 and 122,
02:58led by Al-Fadl Sastarmizi,
03:00a response from the Ahlul Sihir,
03:02who believe in Allah SWT.
03:05Then, later on,
03:07Fir'aun gave a response to what they were doing.
03:12Let's read verses 1, 2, and 3 again with Al-Fadl Sastarmizi.
03:16Alright, thank you, Ustaz Fazrul, Ustaz Shamil Isa.
03:19May Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
03:22Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
03:24Earlier, we were reading verses 121 and 122.
03:28This time, we will read verses 123.
03:33We will continue our reading.
03:35We will try to read using the Taranum Hijaz, inshallah.
03:49We will continue our reading using the Taranum Hijaz, inshallah.
04:19We will continue our reading using the Taranum Hijaz, inshallah.
04:43May Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
04:44We have read verses 123.
04:46When Fir'aun said,
04:47Why did you believe in him before I allowed you?
04:51We will continue with Al-Fadl Sastarmizi to explain, Ustaz.
04:54There are many stories of Prophet Musa and Fir'aun.
04:57What is the important lesson for us
05:01related to the story of Prophet Musa and Fir'aun?
05:04At the same time, when Fir'aun said,
05:07Why did you believe in him before I allowed you?
05:10What is the message?
05:11Please.
05:12Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
05:13Alhamdulillah.
05:14Wassalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
05:17Thank you, Ustaz Fazrul.
05:18Ustaz Tar.
05:19For the reading.
05:20May Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you.
05:21Hopefully, we will reach heaven with this reading, inshallah.
05:25If we look at verse 123,
05:29how Allah SWT deliberately kept,
05:33and not only in one surah,
05:35but also in other surahs,
05:37the words of Fir'aun to the people of Sihir when they believed,
05:41Why did you believe in him before I allowed you?
05:44There are several important points here that we need to understand.
05:48The first point is,
05:50faith is a personal responsibility.
05:53Every human being will meet Allah SWT
05:57with their own faith.
05:59That is why we can see,
06:01the faith that is generated by the people of Sihir
06:04is a faith that is not shaken
06:07with any form of obstruction,
06:10any form of oppression,
06:11any form of punishment.
06:13That is why they can only believe in Allah SWT temporarily.
06:18Even the verse that was read at the beginning of this episode is,
06:22how the people of Sihir said,
06:24we believe in God Almighty.
06:27So, Fir'aun can say,
06:28I am also God Almighty.
06:30God Musa,
06:32I was the one who took care of Musa first.
06:34God Harun,
06:35that means it was not me anymore.
06:36That time,
06:37when God Musa and God Harun,
06:39at that time,
06:40they said,
06:41you are not the one we believe in.
06:43So, at that time,
06:44Fir'aun got angry for a while,
06:46or he was actually a bit angry,
06:49because at that time,
06:50he was no longer able to speak.
06:53Because if we look at what is in the institution of Fir'aun,
06:57Fir'aun, if we say,
06:58it is a kingdom that stands on the basis of partnership,
07:02that is, they worship Fir'aun.
07:04Even though Fir'aun worshiped the sun and the like,
07:06but they,
07:07the people of Egypt,
07:08worshiped Fir'aun.
07:09And,
07:10that idea,
07:11or that belief,
07:12was defended,
07:14or protected by the power,
07:17and the government,
07:18and the laws,
07:19and the police,
07:20and the like,
07:21so that the idea of worshipping Fir'aun remains.
07:24So, when there is an attempt,
07:27that is from God Musa,
07:29and that attempt is successful,
07:30that is,
07:31the believers,
07:32the magicians,
07:33that has challenged his government.
07:36So, if we look at it here,
07:38actually,
07:39the king,
07:40or the government,
07:41or the ironsmith,
07:42and the like,
07:43they may be able to control the laws,
07:45and the like,
07:46but they still cannot control the trust,
07:49and the faith of someone.
07:52So, that is a big lesson for us to understand,
07:55in various angles.
07:56Actually, when we look at the stories in the Quran,
08:01in terms of politics,
08:03in terms of faith,
08:04we can see that
08:05faith is the focus of every individual's heart.
08:09There is no government that can control it.
08:13But, of course,
08:14we have learned that
08:15there are obstacles from the outside
08:17that are being forced by Fir'aun
08:21to follow his shirk.
08:23And this is a big message to the government,
08:26to the leaders,
08:27do not let those misunderstandings
08:30become the basis,
08:32for them to finally
08:33be able to
08:35take away all the truths
08:37that have been brought in
08:39by a country or a state.
08:41And this is verse 123,
08:43which we want to continue with verse 125,
08:47when Ustaz said earlier
08:48that the ironsmith has a very strong heart,
08:54which is embedded in verse 125.
08:57Let's read it together with Ustaz Tamizzi.
08:59Thank you, Ustaz Fazrul.
09:02Ustaz Shamil,
09:04we want to continue with the next reading,
09:06verse 125, right?
09:08Yes.
09:09This is a short verse,
09:10it must be as long as the breath of the Prophet.
09:13But there are two points there,
09:15Qalu and Inna.
09:18I invite you to share your answers
09:20in the comment section.
09:21What are those two points?
09:22Qalu and Inna,
09:23if they are read as wasal or sambung.
09:26Let's read.
09:27I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
09:57I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
09:58Verse 125,
09:59the magicians replied,
10:01We will return to our Lord.
10:04How did they have the strength of faith,
10:07the spirit of faith,
10:08even though they had just heard the sermon?
10:10This is a short one.
10:12They heard,
10:13not from the Qur'an,
10:14but the miracle program from the Prophet Musa.
10:18What is the background to them?
10:19Who are they really?
10:21We will follow up after this.
10:22Let's take a break.
10:23This is My Qur'an Time.
10:24Peace be upon you.
10:54In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, Ever Merciful.
11:24It's not just learning in the kitchen.
11:26We will also learn in depth
11:28in the memorization segment.
11:54Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah,
12:01Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah,
12:09Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah,
12:18Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah,
12:30Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah,
12:38Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah,
12:46Ya Allah, Ya Allah, Ya Allah,
12:53and make it an evidence for us,
13:00O Lord of the worlds.
13:18Welcome back to My Qur'an Time,
13:19Qur'an Salat Imfaq.
13:20We are now on page 165 and 166.
13:23We have just read the response
13:25from the Ahlul Sihir
13:27to the warning or threat
13:29given by the Pharaoh
13:31in verse 125.
13:33Their faith strength
13:35continued to grow
13:37after witnessing
13:39the miracle of Tungkat
13:41becoming a snake
13:42brought by the Prophet Musa
13:44from Allah SWT.
13:45We are now with Al-Fadil Ustaz Shamil
13:47to explain, Ustaz.
13:48Who are these Ahlul Sihir?
13:50How can they
13:52continue to be strong in spirit?
13:54Sometimes people,
13:55for the first time,
13:56they hear,
13:57wait a minute, wait a minute.
13:58When it comes to being crucified,
14:00being cut off their hands,
14:02Pak On or Mamanda,
14:05whatever it is called,
14:07wait a minute,
14:08let us think first,
14:09we will discuss later.
14:10But they continue to be sharp,
14:12accurate.
14:13How is that, Ustaz?
14:14BismillahirRahmanirRahim.
14:15So, if we look,
14:17from the context of this verse,
14:19how is the change
14:20of 360 degrees
14:22or 180 degrees?
14:24180.
14:25180.
14:26So, it's back to 300.
14:27It's back.
14:28These Ahlul Sihir,
14:29Allah SWT,
14:30if we look,
14:31before that,
14:32in the previous Surah,
14:33we can see
14:34how,
14:35when they were brought
14:36to meet with the Prophet Musa,
14:38to compete with the Prophet Musa,
14:40they said to the Pharaoh,
14:41Pharaoh,
14:42if we win,
14:43we want a reward.
14:44So, as if
14:45their competition
14:46was very materialistic,
14:47very materialistic,
14:48looking at the physical things,
14:49they wanted to get
14:50a quick reward.
14:51But when
14:52they faced
14:53the miracle of the Prophet Musa,
14:55at that time,
14:56the stick
14:57from a real wood
14:58to a real snake,
15:00that finally
15:01made them
15:02change.
15:03Why?
15:04Because,
15:05Ahlul Sihir is
15:06the top Ahlul Sihir
15:07in the Pharaoh's time.
15:08And it is said,
15:09there were many,
15:10not just one or two,
15:11it was a group,
15:12a group of Ahlul Sihir.
15:13So, as if,
15:14there were certain levels,
15:15and if we look at it,
15:16they brought
15:17the highest level
15:18of Ahlul Sihir,
15:19and there was nothing
15:20that could be higher
15:21than that.
15:22So, when the Prophet Musa,
15:23peace be upon him,
15:24brought the miracle
15:25of the stick
15:26to become a snake
15:27and ate their sticks,
15:28which were made of wood,
15:29not snakes,
15:30finally,
15:31they would
15:32reach a point
15:33that,
15:34that's it.
15:35This is the end
15:36of all knowledge
15:37and there is no
15:38other end
15:39other than
15:40the true God.
15:41The true God of the universe.
15:42So, there was nothing
15:43that they,
15:44there was nothing
15:45that they needed
15:46to lose.
15:47Why?
15:48Because they had
15:49found a reality
15:50that they had
15:51been looking for
15:52and the reality
15:53was that
15:54Ahlul Sihir
15:55was not just
15:56realized
15:57at that time.
15:58Actually,
15:59the pharaoh
16:00was preached
16:01by Musa
16:02for 40 years.
16:03So,
16:04before that,
16:05there were
16:06rumors
16:07that
16:08there was
16:09someone
16:10who brought
16:11the stick
16:12and when
16:13the competition
16:14happened,
16:15it was as if
16:16this was
16:17the end of it.
16:18If I lose,
16:19then he is
16:20the true prophet.
16:21So,
16:22there was nothing
16:23that could
16:24stop them.
16:25So,
16:26they could
16:27say
16:28that
16:29we will
16:30return
16:31to our true God.
16:32We will return
16:33to our true God.
16:34You are not
16:35my God anymore.
16:36As if
16:37Prophet Ahlul Sihir
16:38said to the pharaoh,
16:39all of us
16:40will return
16:41to our true God.
16:42In Surah Tauhid,
16:43Allah SWT states
16:44that
16:45Ahlul Sihir
16:46said that
16:47whoever
16:48meets God
16:49as a believer,
16:50will go to heaven
16:51and whoever
16:52meets God
16:53as a sinner,
16:54will go to hell.
16:55So,
16:56there was
16:57a formula
16:58and
16:59I don't know
17:00where it came from.
17:01Before this,
17:02there was
17:03a story
17:04about the teaching
17:05of Prophet Musa
17:06and so on.
17:07But,
17:08it was not
17:09yet
17:10an explanation
17:11of the truth.
17:12Especially,
17:13the Ahlul Sihir
17:14of the pharaoh's time
17:15were smart people.
17:16So,
17:17these smart people
17:18did not have
17:19property
17:20that could
17:21keep them away
17:22from the truth
17:23because
17:24when they
17:25found
17:26the truth,
17:27they will
17:28remain
17:29patient
17:30with the truth.
17:31So,
17:32that was
17:33the explanation
17:34of verse
17:35125
17:36in which
17:37Ahlul Sihir
17:38with certainty
17:39except for Allah for them to be committed
17:42and this is the result of,
17:44if earlier Yusuf was talking about knowledge,
17:46they know their level or their knowledge
17:49so when the magicians have played with their magic
17:53they see that this is not magic anymore
17:55and with knowledge,
17:57the miracle gives an effect
17:59even though the same miracle
18:00the Quran earlier,
18:02they see that there is nothing
18:04or the people around them
18:06because knowledge is an important basis
18:09to appreciate the miracle
18:12and make a change
18:13in the 180 degrees
18:15and this is the basis for us
18:17to continue to deepen our knowledge
18:19to be able to appreciate the miracle
18:21and suddenly,
18:23there are people who are really pure
18:25I will follow the path of truth
18:28as well as possible
18:30like the magicians
18:32who were in the era of Pharaoh
18:34and when they were still speaking
18:38they were praying
18:39verse 126
18:41we will read it with Al-Fadil Ustaz Taramizi
18:43Thank you Al-Fadil Ustaz Fazrul
18:45Al-Fadil Ustaz Shamil
18:47ladies and gentlemen
18:49in the month of May,
18:51the month of reading
18:53in the month of May, we also read
18:55Al-Fadil Ustaz Shamil, please allow me to read
18:57two people
19:01verse 126
19:03we will try to read
19:05with Taranum Nahawan
19:07I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan
19:38We have believed in the signs of our Lord
19:45when they came to us
19:55Our Lord, pour upon us patience
20:10and forgive us, we are Muslims
20:21Allah Almighty has spoken the truth
20:28We have read from verse 126
20:31a prayer that was performed
20:33Rabbana Afri alaina sabraw wa tawafana muslimin
20:37and we have found this prayer
20:39in Surah Al-Baqarah
20:41which was recited by the army of Talut
20:43so maybe Al-Fadil Ustaz, the army of Talut
20:45in terms of the timeline
20:47who came first and who came later
20:50the prayer is more or less the same
20:52bismillahirrahmanirrahim
20:54thank you Ustaz Faz
20:56the first one is about the timeline
20:58it is clear that
21:00Prophet Musa came first
21:02and after that came Talut and Jalut
21:04because he was one of the
21:06after the death of Prophet Musa and Prophet Harun
21:08and the other prophets
21:10came together with Talut and Jalut
21:12to enter Baitul Maqdis
21:14but in terms of similarity
21:16why do we see the prayer is more or less the same
21:18which was recited by the people of Talut
21:20Rabbana Afri alaina sabraw
21:22wa thabbit taqud amanah
21:24it is written there
21:26O our Lord, give us patience
21:28and strengthen our legs
21:30so if we look at
21:32the first one, the value of patience
21:34why is it asked
21:36to be patient with Allah SWT
21:38because if we look
21:40patience is
21:42the determining factor
21:44someone wins
21:47not because he is patient
21:49not because he is
21:51smart
21:53that is why
21:55when Prophet Muhammad SAW
21:57said
21:59wa anna nasrama as-sabri
22:01victory is with patience
22:03there is victory with patience
22:05and also why if we look
22:07in Surah Al-Asr
22:09wa ta'walsaw bil-haqq
22:11wa ta'walsaw bil-sabr
22:13people who are not at a loss
22:16and they help each other
22:18or give advice to the truth
22:20and give advice to patience
22:22so for these people
22:24they already know the truth
22:26so their issue is
22:28can they be patient with the truth
22:30that is why when they see
22:32what the pharaoh will do
22:34and indeed he will do
22:36and they feel that they will do
22:38it will happen
22:40so what they ask Allah SWT
22:42I have seen the truth of this religion
22:45the revelation
22:47what is left is I ask Allah to give me patience
22:49so that I will remain
22:51because it can be reversed
22:53it can be that he is afraid
22:55that his children will be affected
22:57or his family will be affected
22:59so he asks Allah to be patient with him
23:01and asks Allah to kill him as a Muslim
23:03so these are the stories
23:05of people who are right
