00:00 Some drivers are complaining about the no-release policy of the Land Transportation Office on the last-of-its-kind cars.

00:09 Drivers of traditional jeepneys should not have a hard time.

00:16 That's what some jeepney drivers are saying after the Land Transportation Office issued a law yesterday.

00:22 This is the no-release policy.

00:24 Under this, every last-of-its-kind car must first get a court order to be allowed to leave their vehicle.

00:32 This is also what most jeepney drivers who have rented GMI Integrated Use in Makati City are complaining about.

00:38 For me, no. They are really pitiful.

00:41 Of course, they also want to earn money. They also want to travel properly.

00:47 The 40-year-old driver, Ronaldo, is also not in favor of the new LTO law.

00:53 Our fellow drivers are pitiful. If they cannot travel and they are not allowed to consolidate, there are old-fashioned jeepneys.

01:20 According to LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza, he ordered all of their regional directors,

01:26 led by the district office and LTO units to file criminal cases for every successful anti-colorum operation.

01:33 Among the LTO, private vehicles that are being used and not following legal requirements are considered as colorum.

01:40 While the criminal case is pending, the unit should not be released without a court order because the vehicle is part of the evidence.

01:47 In addition, LTO said that the driver's license of anyone who is caught in the colorum of a vehicle can be suspended for a year.
