Kim Jong Un's Sister  Warns of Retaliation as South Korea Resumes Loudspeaker Broadcasts, Threatens 'Dangerous Situation'

Kim Yo Jong, the influential sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, issued a warning to South Korea over the resumption of its loudspeaker broadcasts and leaflet distribution near the border. She stated these actions would trigger a "new counteraction" from North Korea. South Korea recently resumed loudspeaker broadcasts in response to North Korea launching balloons filled with trash and manure across the border. This back-and-forth has escalated tensions between the two Koreas following a series of provocative actions on both sides. Jong described the situation as “a prelude to a very dangerous situation.”
