00:19series underdog to win this three-game set before things started. LA won the
00:24series. The question entering the finale last night was could the Dodgers sweep
00:28the Yankees. New York responds in the third and final game with a 6-4 victory
00:33over the Dodgers. What a game it was on Friday. Took a little bit of time but
00:39with Ben Stevens, that's me, in attendance we went to extra innings and the Dodgers
00:43won it in 11. Teoscar Hernandez had himself a weekend in New York. Game
00:49winning two RBI double in that 11th inning in extras on Friday. Had two home
00:54runs and six ribbies on Saturday in the 11-3 blowout for the Dodgers over
01:00the Yankees. Even a home run yesterday for LA. Ultimately though not enough
01:06against New York where Aaron Judge was also great this weekend. Three home runs
01:10in the final two games leads all the bigs this year now with 24 long balls.
01:15Yeah usually expect Mookie Betts, Yohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman to be the
01:19leaders there for the Dodgers but my goodness Teoscar Hernandez because that
01:22lineup is so deep all the way through you don't get any deep breaths here
01:25because Will Smith bats right in front of him. Can't pitch around him. You get
01:28pitches to hit for Teoscar and it worked out in his favor but also let's keep in
01:31mind Juan Soto who was you know neck-and-neck technically with Aaron
01:35Judge here to win the MDP in the American League did not play at all in
01:38this series due to forum tightness. Now the Yankees aren't all that worried
01:41about it but just wanted to give him some time off but as I say that you look
01:44at Aaron Judge. Three hits yesterday out of four at bats, two RBI, one home run,
01:49batting average on the season now 305. That is absolutely incredible because
01:55when you're taking a look at pure power hitters you figure if they can hang
01:57around 260 that is a huge boon to your team but a guy that hits with power and
02:02it's hitting 305 the sky is the limit for him this summer as long as he
02:05doesn't get injured because you know I always talk about when we start to get
02:08in those hitting environments with the weather is warmer in Yankee Stadium and
02:11you see what he's able to do. We'll see when Juan Soto comes back but that was a
02:15fun series from start to finish a lot of back-and-forth action which included
02:19that game last night with two great pitchers on the mound and the bats just
02:22came up a little bit better. Ten total runs last night but my focus continues
02:25to be on how good Aaron Judge has been for the New York Yankees.
