00:04 You have a special performance tonight. What can you tell us?
00:07 I do. Te lo juro que what I can tell is that I feel, really, because you know how much
00:13 Billboard has supported me since the beginning. I feel so blessed and part of a big family
00:21 that is recognizing what has to be recognized with all the love. And everyone that is involved
00:26 has such a great intention of love and just such a great vibe. I'm so, so happy. De verdad,
00:33 I can't wait for everyone to see what we're doing.
00:35 I know. We're so excited too. We know that you're doing a tribute to one of the honorees.
00:40 We're not going to say who, but what do you admire about this specific honoree that you're
00:46 going to be tributing tonight?
00:47 Oh my goodness. So many things because she's such a, just a complete woman. Complete.
00:56 And I think what stands out for me is that she is an incredible mother of one of my best
01:03 friends. And secondly, that she has been able to achieve every single thing that she has
01:09 wanted to without changing who she is. So that is something that I really admire and
01:15 how she's taking her culture everywhere that she goes.
01:19 And now, para finalizar, you know, we saw you también compartiendo el escenario with
01:24 our Women of the Year, Carol G. You opened her shows in Venezuela. How was that experience?
01:28 And it was your birthday. I'm guessing it was just like the best weekend ever.
01:32 Te lo juro, fue una cosa que me cambió la vida. Life-changing. Yo se lo dije a ella
01:37 que no tenía como agradecerle. Sentir a mi país, primeramente, tan de cerca, tan abrazada
01:42 por Venezuela, porque además yo fui con los brazos así, fue impresionante. Y también
01:49 de parte de ella. Es una mujer que admiro mucho, que respeto mucho, que quiero unidamente,
01:54 porque podemos conectar por trabajo, lo que sea, pero no. Es alguien que te puedo decir,
01:59 wow, me encanta pasar tiempo con ella, nuestras conversaciones, quién es su familia, también
02:05 su madre, wow, sus hermanas. De verdad que fueron unos días preciosos y hoy en día
02:12 entiendo más por qué mujeres como ella deben estar donde están, porque eso es lo que va
02:18 a hacer que todo esto siga andando bien.
