European Union: Crucial election day for the future of Europe comes to an end

The European Parliament elections are completed. More than 4 hundred million citizens in the union are summoned to a process that began on June the fifth. The day will result in the election of 7 hundred 20 deputies, whose names will be known on Monday. The general vote count ends at midnight, moments before Italy closes the last polling station.
