The existing Seabrook Crisps factory, which produces 2,000 bags of crisps a minute, is at capacity and is currently in operation for 24 hours a day, six days a week to meet demand. The new 25,000 sq ft extension, which is due to open in September, will enable the company to produce an extra 100 tonnes of crisps a week on top of the 240 tonnes it already makes.
