Scopwick's D-Day beacon event

Scopwick villagers joined in a nationwide chain of beacons lit on the evening of Thursday June 6 to commemorate the 80th anniversray of D-Day landings in 1944. They also held an exhibition in the village hall with people in period costume, music, food and wartime vehicles on display.
