Boeing's Starliner completes ISS docking despite helium leak, thrusters failure

Boeing's new Starliner spacecraft, carrying NASA astronauts Barry ‘Butch’ Wilmore and Sunita ‘Suni’ Williams, successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) on June 6, 2024 (June 7 in Manila). During the post-docking news conference, mission managers from NASA and Boeing said this key event marked a significant test of the vessel's capabilities, amidst minor technical issues including a helium leak and some thruster failures. Despite these challenges, the spacecraft autonomously completed its docking during its orbit 250 miles above the Earth.
