00:00What's it like? What's your first season been like? Because you've come in and made a real impact and you've played in every game.
00:07Yeah, every game I've been available for. The atmosphere's just been surreal. Everyone's been helping me.
00:14Obviously it was a long season last year trying to get back from injury but I feel like I've just fit right in and fit into training.
00:20It has been tough but it's been worth it playing in every game so far.
00:24Obviously last year must have been tough but I suppose in a way it didn't make up for it but you managed to put it right behind you haven't you?
00:33The way you've come in and made an impact and scored tries right from the off. You look really at home.
00:38Yeah, I said this the other week but it kind of just proves how hard I worked last season with how much I rehabbed and I think it is paying off like you said.
00:49I've got a good centre inside of me and a good team around me so it helped me.
00:54What was the injury last year?
00:56So I initially broke my ankle and I had surgery on it. I've got a metal plate in there now but that was meant to be a quick turnaround but we could never figure it out.
01:05My ankle just stayed bad and we couldn't figure it out until the end of last season what was actually wrong with it.
01:10So it's all obviously good to go?
01:13Yeah, it's perfect now.
01:16Where were you last year?
01:18I went down as a supporter, yeah.
01:20Did you? Like in the crowd?
01:22We went down and all the rehabbers got to go down as well so we sat in the dugout.
01:27So you got a bit of a taste of it which may look a bit different on Saturday when you're walking out there?
01:33Yeah, well we got to walk out onto the pitch as rehabbers but obviously I don't think it will compare to actually walking out of the stadium in front of some fans.
01:41Is it good that you did that last year because normally you have a walkabout and they'll look around but that isn't happening this year so is it good that you've had a little taste of what a stadium is like?
01:53Yeah, I think knowing how big it is and how many it can hold I think I've got a good picture in my head about what I'm going into. I think if I was going into it blind it would be a lot more scarier.
02:03And what are the big match nerves going to be like? Are you going to be okay?
02:08I think I'll be fine. I don't really get nervous until I'm on the pitch and even then as soon as I'm into the game it doesn't affect me.
02:15Obviously it's not just another game but I suppose when the whistle goes you just have to stand your ground and do your job.
02:21Yeah, you just have to block all the nerves out don't you otherwise you don't perform as well.
02:25Leeds going into it in good form, are you confident with the way the team are playing? You scored 68 points last week, you can't be crippled at.
02:35I thought your match saying it's blow for blow the other week, it's just the penalties that made the difference.
02:40It is frustrating that it was our errors but in training we know what we've got to work on to put things right and I think losing that game has made us even more eager to win this game.
02:50We know what we've got to fix.
02:52I was just going to say in a way you learn more from defeats don't you? Plus you had a few players missing that day that I imagine will be back on Saturday so that can give you a bit of confidence.
03:04Yeah it will.
03:05You've got a lot of friends and family there?
03:08Yeah, half my family have bought tickets, they've bought t-shirts and everything. They're off down on the supporters coach that Rhinos have set up.
03:16Are you from Leeds?
03:18Yeah, I live just in Geiseley right at the edge.
03:21Are you a Leeds fan?
03:22Yeah, I've been supporting Leeds literally since I was born. My whole family is involved with Leeds.
03:27Have you ever been to a final watching the men?
03:31I think I've been to one or two but since I've been involved with the women I've drifted away from the men a bit and started watching the women more.
03:40Obviously it's going to be a big day for the family and everybody.
