00:00 Overnight, news broke that Governor Hochul is considering pausing congestion pricing.
00:09 It is supposed to take effect June 30th.
00:11 As you know, this has been one of my biggest battles, one of our biggest battles,
00:15 particularly those of us that live in the outer boroughs of New York City.
00:19 She's considering pausing it.
00:22 Right now we're in court.
00:24 We had a hearing about a week ago.
00:27 And we're going to continue to fight this thing legally and legislatively in any way we can.
00:32 But this was huge news this morning, that the governor is saying that she's potentially considering pausing congestion pricing.
00:41 So what we need to do today is every New Yorker who is opposed to congestion pricing,
00:48 and I know there's 65% in New York City alone that are against congestion pricing.
00:52 In my district, 80% of the people are against congestion pricing.
00:57 That is a lot of people.
00:59 We need everybody to stop what they're doing, call the governor's office,
01:03 and if you have a Democrat representing you on the city, state, or federal level,
01:09 you need to call them and tell them to stop congestion pricing.
01:14 This is a big moment for us.
01:16 They are feeling the political pressure.
01:18 They are seeing and reading the polls.
01:21 They saw President Trump come out last week with a post condemning them for trying to put congestion pricing,
01:28 at this time, affecting New York's businesses.
01:31 That came shortly after a conversation I had with President Trump.
01:35 And I'm really happy he did that because I think it really woke the Democrats up a bit.
01:41 But we are in court right now.
01:43 We're trying to stop this legally.
01:45 Keep up the political pressure on the governor and the Democrats who represent you on the city, state, and federal level.
01:52 Why Democrats? Because the Republicans either voted against it or they've joined our lawsuits.
01:57 There's no point in calling them.
01:59 Call the Democrats at the city, state, and federal level and call the governor's office today.
02:05 This is urgent.
02:06 This is like, you know, we need everyone to voice their opposition.
02:11 Let's get this thing killed.
02:13 Congestion pricing, this war on cars, cash grab.
02:16 We have the power and the ability to stop it, but everybody needs to take action today.
02:21 Please spread the word. Share my video.
02:23 And let's get this thing done.
