00:53 Dear listeners, you know that we start the program
00:57 with the talk of the Quran and Hadith.
01:01 Today we will talk about the topic of sacrifice.
01:06 You know that we have already discussed this topic yesterday.
01:11 Here, sacrifice is an act that Allah has made
01:20 in some way or the other on every nation.
01:26 For example, if we go to Surah Hajj, verse 34,
01:31 Allah says,
01:32 [Arabic]
01:40 Allah says that we have decided the way of sacrifice for every nation
01:45 so that they take the name of Allah and recite the name of Allah.
01:49 Allah has given them the reward of their sacrifice.
01:54 Dear listeners, this means that sacrifice has been in every nation.
02:01 In the middle of the program,
02:05 there is a blessed era of Moses.
02:09 In the verse number 67, Surah Baqarah, verse 12,
02:15 [Arabic]
02:21 When Moses said to his people that Allah commands you to slaughter a cow,
02:29 it was obvious that he was a businessman.
02:32 His younger brother killed him out of greed for inheritance
02:37 and he himself stood up as a supporter of his killing.
02:41 He started making noise that someone has killed him.
02:44 So, it was decided to slaughter a cow.
02:47 And if someone is killed after slaughtering a cow,
02:52 he will stand up and tell everyone who killed him.
03:01 So, this is what happened.
03:03 And the person who killed him was caught.
03:07 And here, dear listeners, till today, in the Jews,
03:11 we see the process of sacrificing a cow in some way.
03:17 Some time ago, dear listeners, we were talking about the Red Heif.
03:22 So, it is seen in some way.
03:24 In the blessed era of Adam,
03:27 he had two sons, Habil and Qabil.
03:31 Both of them were divided.
03:37 And the decision was made on sacrifice.
03:41 [Arabic]
03:48 So, the decision was made on sacrifice.
03:50 And in that era, the acceptance of sacrifice was such that
03:55 it was like a fire from the sky and the sacrifice that was made was accepted.
04:02 And the sacrifice that was left,
04:05 it means that the sacrifice was not accepted in the presence of Allah.
04:10 So, here it is said that
04:12 [Arabic]
04:17 that one sacrifice was accepted and the other was not accepted.
04:23 That is, the sacrifice of Qabil was not accepted
04:26 and the sacrifice of Habil was accepted.
04:29 So, dear listeners, I have said this in your service
04:33 so that you know that sacrifice was present in some way.
04:38 Qabil had left a wheat sack in the presence of Allah.
04:44 And Habil had sacrificed a goat in the presence of Allah.
04:48 It was accepted.
04:50 [Arabic]
05:15 So, sacrifice is obligatory on him.
05:18 And the sacrifice is not obligatory on the elderly.
05:22 Okay, it is a condition to spend a year in the account of Zakat.
05:26 And it is not a condition to spend a year in the account of Zakat.
05:30 He is the owner of the account in the days of sacrifice.
05:34 So, sacrifice will be obligatory on him.
05:36 Dear listeners, now in the present era,
05:40 it is also said that what is the need of sacrifice,
05:44 what is the need of slaughtering cows?
05:47 And of course, apart from this,
05:49 you help the poor people of Allah,
05:52 get a poor person married.
05:54 Remember that worship is that which Allah has commanded.
05:59 And the commandment of Shariah should be fulfilled in the same way.
06:04 For example, dear listeners,
06:06 you work in a institution in the world,
06:10 the time is 9 to 5,
06:13 and you come after 5 o'clock,
06:16 and say I will give 12 hours,
06:18 will it be accepted? No.
06:20 The time of school, college and university is from 8 to 1 o'clock,
06:25 for example, till 2 o'clock.
06:27 So, if you are after 2 o'clock and say that I will give 12 hours, 10 hours,
06:32 will it be accepted? No.
06:34 So, dear listeners, this is the commandment of Shariah.
06:37 It should be fulfilled in the same way.
06:40 I will also mention some objections,
06:45 and I will also answer them.
06:47 And at the same time,
06:49 what animals are sacrificed,
06:51 and what are the shortcomings in the sacrifice,
06:53 so that there is no sacrifice.
06:55 What are the shortcomings,
06:56 so that there is a sacrifice.
06:58 I will mention this, dear listeners.
07:00 Let's go to today's lesson.
07:02 It is Surah Nahl,
07:04 and Ayat number 108,
07:07 and Ayat number 109.
