00:00In our latest satellite images, we can see that the trough is a part of the trough or extension of a low-pressure area outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
00:11This is in the east side of Japan and is also a part of a frontal system.
00:16And this trough is where we bring the clouds.
00:19As you can see, it is a bit cloudy in the east side of Central Luzon as well as in the east side of Northern Luzon.
00:26That is why we are expecting a high chance of rain today, particularly in the areas of Aurora, Isabela, Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur.
00:37This is a part of the trough or extension of a low-pressure area.
00:41Meanwhile, in other parts of the country, we will continue to experience a bit of hot weather while we still have the possibility of isolated or dry rain,
00:50especially in the afternoon and evening.
00:53To those who are asking, why is there a sign of rain?
00:57But it is still hot, especially in the afternoon.
01:00At the moment, we are experiencing what is called a monsoon break,
01:02where the south-west monsoon or hanging habagat is not that strong.
01:07That is why it does not bring much rain.
01:09But we are expecting that possibly by the weekend, we will have a strong habagat.
01:14That is why it is possible that there will be a big chance of rain.
01:17Rain will start in Palawan, Western Visayas, and in the northern part of Luzon,
01:24particularly in the Ilocos region, along with Bataan, Zambales, Metro Manila, and some parts of Calabarzon and Mimaropa.
01:32That is possible by the weekend.
01:33We are expecting that the habagat will be strong.
01:36Again, the isolated rain, showers, and thunderstorms that we will experience in the afternoon and evening can also be experienced by the early morning.
01:45For now, we have not yet monitored a thunderstorm or a low-pressure area that could be a thunderstorm inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
01:54So it is possible that by the weekend, we will have a small chance of having a thunderstorm.
01:59But we will still give an update when there are changes in our weather.
02:04And here in Luzon, we are expecting a big chance of rain in the area of Isabela,
02:10Aurora, and in the area of Quezon Province, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and in the area of Caulapan, from the trough or extension of the low-pressure area.
02:19In the other part of Luzon, we will still experience isolated rain, showers, and thunderstorms.
02:24It is still hot in Tanghali, where the outside temperature is 27 to 33 degrees Celsius.
02:29In Baguio, it is 18 to 24 degrees Celsius.

03:11In Cebu, it is 28 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:14While in Tacloban, it is 27 to 32 degrees Celsius.
03:17In the area of Negros, where the volcano Canlaon erupted,
03:21we will also experience isolated rain, showers, and thunderstorms.
03:26Tanghali is still a bit hot in the area of Kabisayaan.
03:29In Mindanao, we will not experience it.
03:31It is a bit hot in Tanghali while there is a high possibility of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
03:35The outside temperature in Zamboanga is 25 to 34 degrees Celsius.
03:39In Cagayan de Oro, it is 33 degrees Celsius.
03:42While in Davao, it is 34 degrees Celsius.
