00:26I finally got home from Vegas and I'm I don't know.
00:30I still haven't like reflected over the weekend, but I get
00:34to have this over my shoulder.
00:35It's been a crazy like a whole week, but I've been just
00:39like so honored so blessed.
00:41So thankful that I'm back wrestling back doing what I love
00:45and I'm now the face of TBS and the new TBS champion.
00:49I'm feeling so good.
00:51So good.
00:52Well forget a crazy week.
00:54You have had a crazy year and you know, we're obviously
00:59good friends.
01:00I was able to go out there to Japan for your first match
01:03out there.
01:04You had the injury.
01:05You were on the shelf.
01:07You resurfaced AEW and now after all this time, you finally
01:12had your first match there.
01:15One gold right away over a very, very familiar opponent.
01:21Yeah, I don't even know where to what to ask you right now.
01:24Start talking about the ride and just that relationship
01:28with Willow.
01:29Oh, I mean Willow's the one that I suffered my injury with
01:34one year ago took me out for a whole year.
01:36The doctor said, you know, they're not sure if I was going
01:39to be back in wrestling, but I told them no, this is my life.
01:42This is my dream.
01:43Nobody can tell me.
01:45No, I can't do it.
01:46So I fought so hard to get back and will have something
01:49that I wanted and I told her that money changes everything
01:52and this past Sunday at double or nothing.
01:55We went out there and we stole the show.
01:57We tore it out of the park and she is legit.
02:00One of the best that I've ever been in the ring with and
02:02I definitely can't wait to tie it in the ring with her
02:04again. Well, for a lot of people's money, a lot of people's
02:08money. You are the greatest women's professional wrestler
02:12of all time.
02:12I mean, some people would even strike out the word women's
02:15and just leave that at professional wrestler everything
02:19that you did previously with WWE.
02:21You literally did everything there from winning all the titles
02:24to main eventing WrestleMania.
02:26Now getting to start over with a brand new company for you
02:30at least AEW's just been so hot on the rise for for so long
02:35bringing just something completely different and special to
02:39to the game of professional wrestling.
02:41I mean talk about what that's like the differences that
02:44there are that AEW brings to the table and just what life
02:47has been like there for you.
02:49I mean, we just celebrated five years this past Sunday and
02:53AEW is just legit changing the game in wrestling.
02:57It's the first like competition for WWE in a very very long
03:01time. And as you see AEW is where the best wrestler you
03:05have me at the greatest of all time the TBS women's champion.
03:09You have Will Ospreay, you have Kenny Omega, you have Swerve
03:14Strickland, you have Willow Nightingale and I can just go
03:16on and on and on but you have such amazing incredible talent.
03:20And if there wasn't an AEW, where would these people be?
03:23Where would I be?
03:24So we're so thankful for AEW every single Wednesday, every
03:27single Friday, every single Saturday people are just out
03:29there throwing it out of the park and we are just changing
03:32the game because we're here.
03:33We want it.
03:34We want to do it and I'm here to make women's wrestling so
03:36globalized here.
03:38And the next thing on the table is forbidden door.
03:40So I'm trying to see who's trying to be next for this.
03:43It can be somebody from Stardom and New Japan, CMLL, just
03:47like the dreams here in AEW are just so endless and the
03:51opportunities I can do everything and that's why I chose
03:54to be here.
03:55Well, I want to talk about that title on your shoulder and
03:58something a little bit very important to me and that's a
04:02that's a little bit of party in Mercedes, Monet.
04:05You and I have partied together many times over the years,
04:09but you know how it is when a wrestler wins a title.
04:13What do they do?
04:14They throw it in the bag.
04:15They drive to the next city.
04:16They get a really good night's rest.
04:18And I always thought that was so boring.
04:21So you did something that actually would have been exactly
04:24what I would have done if I had won the big boy title like
04:27you, but you went out in Vegas.
04:29You did the thing, right?
04:31You went out to excess, which is the biggest, the best, the
04:34most exclusive club in all of Vegas and you threw down
04:38Swerve came, Tony Khan came.
04:40Tony Khan came, personally invited by Rufus Del Sol, an amazing
04:45DJ. We danced all night long.
04:47I had a cake, Tony Khan, the chairman of AEW.
04:52Honestly, this is my first championship celebration because
04:55like you said, we just throw in a bag.
04:57We hop into a car and just go do it all over again.
05:01We have no time to celebrate, but this is the first time
05:03that, you know, I wanted to go out there.
05:05I wanted to celebrate my win, my victory, and especially with
05:09people that I love, you know, the best came out there to
05:11celebrate with me.
05:12And I think this has to be a tradition.
05:15No more just jumping into a plane or car.
05:17We got to go out there and do it big. Mercedes.
