00:00 Adele had her concert, her residency in Vegas, Saturday night and something happened.
00:05 Adele thought she heard somebody in the crowd scream "Pride sucks."
00:12 Now this is the beginning of Pride Month and Adele felt it was really an incredibly disrespectful comment
00:21 at the beginning of Pride celebrating LGBTQ rights and she went off on this fan.
00:30 Did you come to my f***ing show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you f***ing stupid?
00:35 Don't be so f***ing ridiculous.
00:37 Let's jump in!
00:38 It's not nice to say "shut up," alright?
00:40 Okay.
00:46 Okay, fair enough.
00:47 Strong reaction.
00:48 And fair enough.
00:49 Absolutely.
00:50 I mean, you can't scream that in the middle of the crowd.
00:52 I mean, you may or may not agree.
00:53 Personally, I do.
00:55 Right.
00:56 And you probably know where Adele stands on the issue, too.
00:58 She's an ally.
00:59 Thing is, Adele was wrong.
01:02 So, we got another video.
01:04 This is what was actually said by the fan and then listen to her reaction again.
01:10 Friday's basically the beginning of my week, you know, because that's when I work, basically.
01:14 So it's sort of like the weekdays of my weekend, an extra long weekend.
01:18 What was that?
01:19 Did you just say Pride sucks?
01:21 Did you come to my f***ing show and just say that Pride sucks?
01:25 Are you f***ing stupid?
01:27 Don't be so f***ing ridiculous.
01:30 You've got nothing nice to say.
01:32 Shut up, alright?
01:33 Oops.
01:34 Wow.
01:35 Work sucks.
01:36 Oops.
01:37 The person said "work sucks."
01:39 And she went after this person like a laser.
01:43 And everybody around this person is looking.
01:46 And I don't know whether, you know, there are probably people in the back who didn't know exactly.
01:50 Right.
01:51 But all of a sudden, this person is sitting there.
01:53 I mean.
01:54 They must have been mortified.
01:55 Mortified.
01:56 What would, I mean.
01:57 I didn't know what you do.
01:58 I didn't say that.
01:59 What do you, I mean, what do you do?
02:00 Right.
02:01 Nobody believed you.
02:02 You just turn around and kiss the guy beside you if you're that guy.
02:03 You're like, no, I didn't say that.
02:05 You gotta go over the top.
02:06 But it's like there's a whole arena there.
02:09 I mean, what do you do in a situation like that?
02:12 Honestly, the thing is Adele now, I get her, you know, vitriol against the person at first if she thought he said pride sucks.
02:18 But now her response to him, she's gotta make it up.
02:21 She's gotta find out who it was, get him free tickets.
02:23 She's gotta make it up to this person.
02:25 Yeah.
02:26 But, I mean, do you launch like that?
02:29 And I guess, look, if she really thought she heard it.
02:31 If you're not sure.
02:32 Right.
02:33 Yeah, I mean, maybe she thought she was sure.
02:34 But she didn't.
02:35 It doesn't sound, it never sounds like it to me.
02:37 I never hear the word pride.
02:38 That's what I mean.
02:39 It didn't sound like it to me either.
02:40 Right.
02:41 It makes more sense in the context of her talking about work and the weekend and all that.
02:44 Well, that's why the person said it.
02:46 She mentioned pride, but it makes more sense to say work sucks.
02:48 Play just the beginning one more time.
02:50 I just want to hear how clearly you hear the word work.
02:53 Basically the beginning of my week, you know, because that's when I work, basically.
02:56 And so it's sort of like the weekdays and my weekend, an extra long weekend.
03:00 What was that?
03:02 Did you just say pride sucks?
03:04 I mean, you hear that, work.
03:08 I could see how she maybe pride was on her mind or something, but I don't hear pride at all.
03:15 Right.
03:16 I get asking the question, but then to so forcefully go at the person.
03:19 I mean, would you stay?
03:21 I don't know because you're trying to explain it, but no one believes you.
03:24 But not just that, but if you leave, you're going to just get pelted.
03:27 Right.
03:28 It's really a bad situation for the fan.
03:30 I feel really bad for that person.
03:31 It's terrible.
03:32 She definitely did or the person definitely did say work sucks, but I do believe she was in the right.
03:39 She still did think he said pride sucks.
03:41 She was sticking up for LGBTQ fans, and I don't think she wants anyone to talk negatively about them.
03:47 And I love that she did that for them, but she was wrong.
