00:14 In a post on X, Tunku Ismail urged the police to thoroughly investigate the matter and for

00:19 all parties to allow the authorities to complete its probe into the case.

00:23 He said he was aware of a movement trying to use the incident to demean the royal institution.

00:28 However, the Johor Regent said it was uncalled for to link the actions of an external security

00:32 personnel to him and the entire royal institution.

00:36 Tunku Ismail said he was informed of the incident on May 29th, the day after it occurred, and

00:41 instructed his police escorts to cooperate with the investigation.

00:45 On Wednesday, Bukit Awan Criminal Investigation Department Director Suhaily Zain said the

00:50 police were investigating a VIP's police escort after a disabled man was allegedly

00:54 assaulted at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

00:58 Several hours later, Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Rusti Isah said the victim had filed a second

01:03 report indicating the matter had been settled.

01:06 The driver attributed the incident to a misunderstanding and did not wish to pursue it further, he
