00:00 Number one, happy with that?
00:02 Yeah, keen.
00:02 You don't mind starting off first?
00:03 No, I don't mind. It's always a great one because if you're rubbish in the race, you always get on the telly.
00:07 You're always going to get on the telly.
00:09 A lot of success, I've won.
00:15 I think there's just something about the factory on the sat there with the big number one on the front of it, you know.
00:21 And you don't have to think about it as much. When the flag drops, you're away. You don't sit looking at them going, "Oh shit, I'm next."
00:29 I'm sure a lot of people are not keen on it, number one. I probably got it because nobody else wanted it.
00:37 But I could pull number one off, no problem.
00:41 The nice thing about it, if I get caught, I get caught by proper pedallers, proper professional riders.
00:47 They'll go, "Oh, there's old fat John here." We'll give them a bit of respect and pass me with a bit of space.
00:53 They won't dive underneath me somewhere.
00:55 You're not to worry about a tow at times.
00:57 Well, that's it. I'm learning off them.
01:02 I watch Peter's lap now on board lap. I'm trying to learn off these quick lads now. I'm not too old to learn.
