ArtWalk Wakefield: How community artists have come together to brighten up their Yorkshire city centre

00:00From bars to pubs and clubs to Wakefield Cathedral, tonight is Art Walk Wakefield.

00:08There's an art walk in New York, in Los Angeles and also in Yorkshire.

00:14Well basically it's made out of cardboard boxes and I imagined this all by myself

00:21without even having to draw and design it's all.

00:24It's all 3D rendered and it has some golden feathers and it has silver writing

00:30and silver descriptions of what it is and what it means.

00:34So it's basically out of my mind, like a wizard.

00:42So it took me some time to do this and I'm pretty proud of it right now.

00:46So it's nearly finished now so we're going to do a little bit more left

00:49and it'll be on display soon.

00:51And where will it be on display?

00:53The Wakefield Cathedral.

00:56And would you say this represents your mind?

00:59It does, yes, certainly it does. It certainly does actually.

01:04It's always a good way to achieve and that is what's really important now.

01:11See with that though, it should go on the islands, like at the Jungle Islands or somewhere.
