The Minnesota Timberwolves stayed alive in game 4 of the NBA Western Conference Finals by beating the Dallas Mavericks 105-100 at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with an impressive performance, scoring 29 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out nine assists. Karl-Anthony Towns also stepped up, scoring 25 points and securing five boards.
Despite the loss, the Mavericks managed to outscore the Timberwolves in second chance and fast break points, and also converted more shots from deep. However, this defeat marked just the third time this year that the Mavericks lost a game despite holding their opponent to 105 points or fewer.
Luka Dončić had a stellar performance for the Mavericks, contributing 28 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, and a steal.
With Game 5 scheduled for Minnesota, the Timberwolves look to extend their season and continue their run in the playoffs.
