00:00Now, let's get to tonight's game. Minnesota at Dallas
00:05Mavericks to one and a half depending on where you find the
00:08line. Why is Dallas only to Gilbert? Does this mean
00:11Minnesota has a real shot to take this thing back to
00:14Minneapolis tonight? You know, this is another series that
00:17doesn't feel like it should be three zero. The Timberwolves
00:20have played really bad basketball and that still had
00:22opportunities and chances to win. So, I think that the
00:25spread is indicative of them thinking that maybe the
00:28Timberwolves can get it together. Maybe Carl Anthony
00:30Towns can kind of get out of this awful slump that he's
00:32having at the worst possible time. Anthony Edwards was
00:35very aggressive in game three, but still couldn't do
00:38enough in that fourth quarter. The absence of Derek
00:41Lively, the second who had that neck injury that looked
00:43really scary in game three as well. I think they'll feel
00:46that because he's played such a big role for the Mavericks
00:48in this series, but to say that it's pretty much a toss
00:52up. It's really interesting to see how that goes. So, I
00:55do like the Timberwolves chances just because they need
00:57to get one. They've had a few stinkers. So, if they can
01:00just play the level that they played in that Denver series,
01:03I think they can send this back to Minnesota, but I don't
01:06think that they have a chance of winning this series. Yeah,
01:09what's interesting is on FanDuel, if it goes five games
01:12and ends, I mean, Gilbert plus 340, that's a nice little
01:15number there over on the FanDuel sportsbook. You know,
01:18look at five to one if it goes six games, but I guess
01:23that's kind of what you're playing for tonight. If you
01:24do take Minnesota, why take them on the money line? Just
01:27take plus 340 to go five games. Yeah, that's great,
01:30especially if you really believe in the fact that they
01:32can do this, have some pride and not get swept. We know
01:35that no team has ever come back from 3-0. So, you know,
01:38not even worry about thinking about that, but the fact
01:41that they do have talent and you can bank on those guys
01:43just kind of showing up. We saw them have that big
01:45comeback in game seven against the Nuggets. So, if
01:48anybody's capable of at least kind of doing something
01:50and performing with their backs against the wall, it's
01:52this Wolves team. And finally, the finals MVP, the odds
01:56are up on FanDuel. Tatum is the favorite followed by
01:59Luka Doncic and Jalen Brown. Do you see anybody else
02:01in the mix potentially there? You know, given the
02:04narratives, Kyrie Irving, that I could see him having
02:07a series where he turns in some legacy performances
02:11that especially if he's playing, well, he will be
02:13playing against his former team if he advances to the
02:15NBA final. So, there's going to be a narrative there
02:18with Kyrie Irving and the Celtics. So, he could have
02:21a series. He's definitely seemed like he's ramping up
02:24as the playoffs have gone on. We saw what he did in
02:26game one of this Tim Wolfe series when he really kind
02:28of took over and he had a big game last night in game
02:30three as well. So, Luka Doncic is definitely the head
02:33of the snake and he's the engine and he everything
02:35goes as he goes but Kyrie Irving does have that big
02:38game capability as we've seen during the 2016 finals
02:41and what he's able to do and hit those big shots. Yeah,
02:43he does. Now, Gilbert, as soon as the NBA, you know,
02:46gets to the finals, is it odd? Is it odd to you? Like
02:49it's odd to me the fact that if Dallas wins tonight,
02:52there's no game for a week. It is odd. It is very odd.
02:55I think they didn't anticipate there being two
02:57sweeps in each conference final series. I don't know
03:00if that's ever happened before but it certainly
03:01doesn't happen often. Um so, I'm sure that they at
03:04least can get some teams from rest especially given
03:06the injuries and hit the reset button. Maybe we can
03:07see a little bit healthier Luka Doncic and definitely
03:10see Chris Asporzingas but you know, you would think
03:12that they might try to move things around a little
03:14bit but it's about getting it on TV when they can in
03:16prime time. Yeah, I mean, more than a week. I think
03:19nine days is when the first game would start which is
03:22kind of crazy. It's like the Super Bowl. Alright,
03:24Gilbert, great to catch up with you. Thanks for coming
03:25on. Absolutely. Thanks for having me, Craig.
