00:00 [crowd cheering]
00:12 Actually this is my dream for the Malaysia Open.
00:17 Because every time I saw other countries get the champion, get on the podium.
00:23 And finally we make it this time, it's our Malaysia on the podium.
00:28 Actually we really did not expect it a lot.
00:31 Like Sunhat said, it's been a dream to just stand in front of our home crowds.
00:36 To bring that gold medal back for our fans, for our family, it's a dream.
00:42 But coming into this tournament, I didn't expect it.
00:45 Because our draw, looking at it, we have a few hurdles, few challenges that we need to overcome.
00:51 We've never won before and also very tough fights.
00:55 So coming in today, even though this match, I can say honestly, we had a 50-50 chance also.
01:04 Although we have won against them many times before, but this is the finals.
01:10 And everyone is striving to improve.
01:13 They also have their own tactics and they have improved also.
01:16 I think it will be a tough match for us.
01:19 So we have not been overconfident, we have prepared ourselves well.
01:23 And I'm really glad that we both managed to control our emotionals, control our game.
01:30 And especially for my partner here, he's been very, very patient throughout the past few games.
01:34 And today, he put me in a very good position, no matter where in the court.
01:39 So thank you and also thank you for all the home fans.
01:42 The first one was Swiss, because we've been to the finals three times.
01:46 And the last few months, we finally get a champion.
01:51 And then this one, definitely the feeling is different, I would say, comparing to Swiss.
01:56 How do I express that feeling?
01:59 Because I see all the crowds cheering for us, my own family here at the arena supporting for us.
02:06 Actually, it brings tears to my eyes to feel that one, comparing to Swiss.
02:12 Where are you going to go on your honeymoon?
02:17 This is a lot of cameras.
02:19 Do you have any promises?
02:21 No promises yet, but we will replace it after we focus on the tournament.
02:27 Record it.
02:29 Why are you talking so much?
02:31 I'm talking about my promises.
02:33 Do you think all the challenges at the finals, as the going-get stuff, you're getting tougher, do you feel that?
02:45 I think the both of us will just continue to uphold one another.
02:54 Because I'll really try to find a way how we're going to work this out.
03:00 It's not going to be easy.
03:02 But having these two championships, I think we both are more motivated to continue on.
03:11 Thank you.
03:13 Thank you.
