Not much action for Nisperos

Akari's Faith Nisperos did not see action in Alas Pilipinas' first two games in the AVC Challenge Cup for Women at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum.

In the Philippines' third game in the tournament against Iran on Saturday, May 25, Nisperos was only fielded by coach Jorge Souza de Brito in the third set.

Nisperos made the most of her limited time, scoring the last two points of the match as Alas dominated Iran, 25-16, 25-13, 25-15, to go 3-0 and secure a semis spot in the tournament.
