00:17 The President has agreed to help Brunei Sultan Hasan Albuquilla

00:23 where the two countries will discuss the strengthening of the relationship

00:27 particularly in the development of the economy

00:30 as well as the people-to-people relations.

00:33 Some of the possible agreements to improve the priority areas

00:38 including agriculture, food security, maritime cooperation and tourism.

00:44 Meanwhile, President Marcos is also leading the series of business forums in Brunei

00:49 to encourage potential investors.

00:52 We want to focus in on economic cooperation.

00:57 As you know, Brunei is a powerhouse in terms of energy

01:02 but they are also a good source of, a good market also for us.

01:06 Meanwhile, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

01:10 has also given a keynote speech at the International Institute for Strategic Studies in Singapore.

01:16 This is the first time for a President of the Philippines.

01:22 The IISS is a think tank organization for defense issues

01:27 and it will give a guide to the country to discuss and address

01:31 some regional and global security challenges.

01:35 In the sideline of the activities,

01:37 President Marcos is expected to assist the newly-elected President and Prime Minister of Singapore.
