00:04 One question, one answer
00:06 And today we're gonna dive into a topic that may be uncomfortable for some parents
00:10 But it's incredibly important to discuss
00:13 And this is educating our children about puberty
00:16 Now, puberty happens to everyone
00:18 But it can be a scary and awkward time for our kids
00:21 That's why it's crucial to have open and honest conversations with them
00:25 About the changes that they go through during this period
00:28 Now, what do we need to talk to them about?
00:30 For boys, we need to normalize their experiences of wet dreams and masturbation
00:34 And teach them about hygiene and privacy
00:36 And respecting other people's boundaries
00:38 For girls, we need to tell them about their periods
00:42 Menstrual products that could help them
00:44 And also how to be comfortable in their own bodies
00:47 So they can experience pleasure
00:48 And respecting their own boundaries
00:51 Aside from these, we have to know how to talk to them about
00:55 The emotional aspects of puberty
00:57 So that they can understand and manage their feelings better
01:01 Remember, puberty is not just about biology
01:04 It's about fostering a healthy attitude towards sex and relationships
01:08 So let's open up these conversations with our children
01:11 And support them as they grow up
01:12 Just by doing so, we're helping them build a healthy and respectful understanding
01:18 Of their bodies, their sexuality, and their relationship
01:22 Hope that helps
