00:00 Come on, come on!
00:02 Well, the camp now really is synonymous with big European nights.
00:06 I think it's probably fair to say that few grounds do it better.
00:10 As you'll see in a moment, supporters of the Blaugrana are out in force tonight.
00:17 A chance for their side to reach a major European semi-final.
00:22 Clearly Barca would prefer to be chasing the Champions League.
00:28 But this trophy is the only one missing actually from their extensive collection.
00:32 30,000 Frankfurt supporters have made the journey over to Spain.
00:38 They've been making plenty of noise, I can tell you, in the streets of Barcelona ahead of kick-off.
00:44 Just a reminder, you can see all the action on the BT Sport app and at btsport.com as well.
00:54 But this is a rare opportunity for Barcelona this season to win that one trophy that is missing from their extensive collection.
01:02 Frankfurt were winners in 1980, semi-finalists as recently as 2019.
01:07 Tonight they seek to repeat that particular feat all square from an entertaining first leg in Germany.

01:52 Look focused, don't they?
01:57 These two clubs who've taken such different routes to this stage of the competition.
02:03 Barcelona after 17 successive years competing in the knockout rounds of the Champions League,
02:09 find themselves in the Europa League quarter-finals now.
02:13 Gerard Pique hasn't recovered from the injury that forced him off in the first half of last week's first leg,
02:18 so Araujo switches from full-back to the centre of defence.
02:21 Oscar Mingueza comes in at right-back.
02:24 Serginho Dest is only fit enough for the bench.
02:26 Ousmane Dembele, who had an impact off the bench in Germany's start tonight,
02:31 preferred on the right to Wolves' low-knee Adama Traore.
02:35 The referee is from Portugal, Artur Diaz, who has been FIFA-listed since 2010.
02:41 Skippers look happy, don't they?
02:45 Sergio Busquets on the left, and Sebastian Roda wears the armband for Frankfurt,
02:51 who selected as the team's new club captain pre-season, replacing Hasebe in that role.
02:58 Two big misses for Frankfurt from the first leg are Tuta, who's suspended after his red card in Germany,
03:04 and Jibril So, who picked up a knee injury in the weekend defeat to Freiburg.
03:09 Into the side come Al-Mami Toure, who's only made four Bundesliga starts this season,
03:14 and the experienced Sebastian Roda, who is a former team-mate of the Barcelona pair,
03:19 Aubameyang and Dembele. That was during their time together at Dortmund.
03:31 Well, that man, Glasner, has said that the first leg has given them belief that they can do this tonight.
03:39 And their supporters, some 30,000 of them, have made the journey over to Spain.
03:56 Nothing between these two sides. History, form and home advantage points towards a Barcelona victory.
04:03 But as this week has already shown us, you can never take anything for granted in European competition.
04:10 The bookies' favourites meet a real outsider.
04:14 But Eintracht Frankfurt are still unbeaten in the Europa League this season.
04:18 And unlike Barcelona, they have lifted this famous trophy before.
04:25 This Frankfurt's first ever trip to camp now for a competitive match.
04:29 But they are certainly not here to sightsee.
04:32 Glasner's side come here, as he said, emboldened by their first leg display.
04:37 One that probably surprised some people in Spain, Clyde,
04:40 but Barcelona will hope their undoubted quality really shines through this time.
04:45 Yeah, I thought it was a slow burner for Barcelona away.
04:48 An intimidating atmosphere against Frankfurt, one in which they try to bring here with the numbers.
04:54 And certainly they're being loud and supporting their team.
04:57 But for me, it wasn't until Xavi made those substitutions on the hour mark,
05:01 the introduction of de Jong and Dembele, really brought Barcelona back into this tie.
05:07 The effort of target from Borre, who will lead the line, the Colombian international, as he did in the first leg.
05:17 [Crowd noise]
05:34 Kostic will be so important on this left-hand side for Frankfurt.
05:38 Certainly is a source of creativity. Ten assists he has this season.
05:43 But they're looking to get on the front foot in the early stages.
05:46 Lindstrom, who was challenged by Garcia.
05:49 Really, really bright, positive start. Lindstrom, I think, will be a threat down that right-hand side.
05:55 Trying to make ground for him. Central again.
05:57 Kamada started on the left, so it's a three-pronged attack from Frankfurt.
06:01 [Crowd noise]
06:11 Knauf with the ball inside here to Kostic.
06:15 Block was by Dembele, who's preferred in the starting line-up tonight to Traore.
06:20 Played a big role in inspiring Barcelona in that second half.
06:25 And of course, it was him and de Jong who linked up to set up the chance for Torres to get the equaliser.
06:31 But Frankfurt are being really bold in the early stages here. Lindstrom.
06:36 It's not only a fast start from Frankfurt, but they're getting the ball forward, looking to get in behind this Barcelona rearguard immediately.
06:44 Jakic, number six, is in the box. Lindstrom is in there as well.
06:49 And almost fell for Jakic, and he's given a penalty.
06:52 What about this? We're just over two minutes on the clock.
06:56 Eintracht Frankfurt will have the opportunity to go in front from the spot.
07:02 And they've made a wonderful start here, really taking the game to Barcelona.
07:06 Well, as the ball pops up in the air, you can see that Lindstrom is clearly pulled to the ground by Garcia.
07:11 His arms are over his shoulders. He can't play the ball.
07:14 The centre-half pulling Lindstrom to the ground. The referee immediately and rightly points to the spot.
07:20 [Crowd noise]
07:26 What an opportunity this is. And a yellow card as well for the man who's given away the penalty, Eric Garcia.
07:35 Adam can have no complaints whatsoever.
07:38 He can't defend in that manner. His arms around the neck of Lindstrom. He pulls him to the ground.
07:43 The referee was in a fabulous position and rightly points to the spot.
07:47 Fast start from Frankfurt. What an opportunity.
07:50 I think they've taken Barcelona by surprise here. Absolutely.
07:54 They wouldn't have been expecting Frankfurt to be this bold.
07:58 [Crowd noise]
07:59 Oh, what pressure on the shoulders of Filip Kostic.
08:03 [Crowd noise]
08:08 He has a wonderful left foot. Kostic, what a big moment this is in his time.
08:12 [Crowd noise]
08:14 In front of a full house at Camp Nou.
08:17 [Crowd noise]
08:18 Eintracht Frankfurt, the underdogs coming into this tonight.
08:22 It is Kostic. It's 1-0. Took it brilliantly.
08:26 Sent the goalkeeper the wrong way. And what a start we have here at Camp Nou.
08:31 Well, we said he's got a wonderful left foot and he's just executed it perfectly into the bottom corner.
08:36 Brilliant strike.
08:38 [Crowd noise]
08:40 Tostegan goes the wrong way.
08:42 And he's absolutely buried by Kostic. What a start from Frankfurt.
08:47 [Crowd noise]
08:49 We have a game on our hands. And they have a goal to cheer already.
08:54 And deserve it. Really positive start.
08:58 Garcia's defending his poor. He can have no complaints.
09:01 Hauling Lindstrom to the ground.
09:03 Referee issues a spot kick and Kostic dispatches it brilliantly.
09:09 Fantastic penalty. Goalkeeper had no chance.
09:12 Not even sure he'd had any chance had he guessed the right way.
09:15 Absolutely would not have got anywhere near that. That is arrowed into the bottom corner.
09:19 The perfect start for the visitors.
09:21 [Crowd noise]
09:23 And he's one of a clutch Frankfurt players. Kostic's contract expires in 2023.
09:30 There is plenty of speculation that he will leave the club at the end of this season.
09:35 What a parting gift it would be if he could be part of a side that went all the way in the Europa League.
09:41 The Barcelona here have to come from behind at home.
09:46 You've got to say it would be a shock for Barcelona.
09:49 I don't think they would have expected the intensity and certainly the way that Frankfurt were on the front foot right from the beginning.
09:56 Has unsettled them and they've deserved their lead.
09:59 [Crowd noise]
10:01 I think you're absolutely right, Clive.
10:04 Just were not ready for the start that they saw from Frankfurt.
10:09 They probably would have expected them to be quite cautious maybe to sit back, getting their shape and let Barcelona have the ball but not a bit of it.
10:16 Well it might now change the course of the game.
10:18 You can imagine that Frankfurt, they certainly have something to protect and they have to work really hard defensively now.
10:25 And Belle fouled.
10:26 Just to confirm that Eric Garcia will miss the first leg of the semi-final should Barcelona get through tonight.
10:33 But that is a big ask right now.
10:35 They certainly have the attacking weapons with players like Dembele though to get back into this.
10:41 Time is on their side but Kostic's goal is the difference.
10:46 [Crowd noise]
10:51 Early chance maybe here for Barcelona to hit back from the set piece.
10:56 [Crowd noise]
11:04 Left boot of Jordi Alba could be very useful here.
11:07 Dembele is there too. Araujo and Mingeza are up from the back.
11:12 Trapped a little off his line here.
11:14 [Whistle]
11:17 It's taken by Dembele.
11:19 It's over towards Araujo and they're struggling to get it clear and it came out towards Pedry.
11:24 And now maybe there's a counter attack.
11:26 Oh look at this. White shirt's raiding forward.
11:28 Barcelona have got to get numbers back and then Knauf wasn't quite played in.
11:34 Oh what an opportunity.
11:36 Almost a classic counter attack from Frankfurt.
11:39 Barcelona corner.
11:41 Just that final pass needed to go in behind Garcia.
11:44 [Crowd noise]
11:46 They were so stretched there Barcelona.
11:49 [Crowd noise]
11:58 Early goal at Ibrox as well. Rangers have levelled things up on aggregate.
12:02 Devenier with the goal there after two minutes.
12:06 What a start tonight's Europa League action.
12:10 I think this could be a fun evening.
12:12 Oh absolutely yeah. Certainly all to play for here.
12:15 Knauf has got to try to just lift his team who have started slowly and they've paid the price for that.
12:20 [Crowd noise]
12:26 Hinteregger.
12:28 He was fantastic in the first leg. Hinteregger.
12:31 [Crowd noise]
12:34 He marshalled that defence Adam brilliantly but his one on one play marking Aubameyang was excellent.
12:42 Certainly going to be tested now. It's going to be a big night for him.
12:46 If he can contain Aubameyang Frankfurt could certainly achieve a surprise result here.
12:52 [Crowd noise]
13:01 It's worth remembering as well that they've come into this Frankfurt without two really important players.
13:07 The centre half Tuta suspended after his red card in the first leg and although he had been in training
13:14 in the last session I'm told before the game they decided not to risk the midfielder so
13:20 here come Barcelona with Pedric. Wide is Dembele.
13:25 Numbers arriving towards the edge of the box so Aubameyang is in there.
13:28 Ferran Torres is in there. Great ball Aubameyang.
13:33 Well that was sensational play from Barcelona sweeping the ball from their own 18 yard line.
13:38 Feeding Dembele wide and then he's in swinging cross.
13:43 Aubameyang rises just can't keep it down. Can't hit it back from where it came from.
13:49 With direction and with power. Loops up over the crossbar but first glimpse of what Barcelona are able to contribute.
13:57 Can you believe how open this is?
13:59 Incredible start to the game. Really is.
14:02 We've nearly had 10 minutes it's absolutely flown by.
14:08 Yep it's an electric start to the game and it's going to carry on for sure.
14:12 Inter-Eger. Back it comes now to Kevin Trapp the German international.
14:20 He and Ter Stegen shared goalkeeping duties in the recent win over Israel.
14:25 Of course although the domestic form Frankfurt has not been that consistent in the Europa League they've played four games away from home this season.
14:34 Unbeaten three wins and a draw. So you would expect they come with some confidence that they know they can get the job done.
14:41 In this competition they've been fantastic away from home.
14:44 Seeing Real Madrid go through to the Champions League semi-finals last night would surely only serve to motivate Barcelona even further tonight.
14:55 It's worth reminding you that the winners of this tie will face either West Ham or Lyon in the semi-finals.
15:01 But as it stands it's Frankfurt heading through. Long way to go though.
15:06 Garcia. Defending here, Kostic the goal scorer.
15:19 Araujo. Mingeza. Dembele.
15:29 Now he's gone from zero to hero really at camp now in recent months. Dembele.
15:35 11 assists he's got in La Liga this season. That's the same as Benzema, the top assist provider in the league.
15:41 But he's played 13 games less than Benzema. That's how good he's been, how creative he's been Dembele.
15:48 Well he's a completely different option to Torojo. He certainly has the pace and directness but Dembele wonderful feet, very clever.
15:56 And I think he's going to be vitally important for Barcelona if they're going to get back into this tie.
16:02 Araujo. Xabi saying this week that Araujo has decided to stay with Barcelona.
16:16 Nothing official yet in terms of his contract situation. I saw Luis Suarez was among those who urged him to stay with Barcelona. I'm sure he will.
16:28 Here's Dembele. Look at the pressure being applied there by the Japanese international, Kamada.
16:35 Yeah Dembele a little frustrated but it's Kostic and Kamada.
16:42 He threw Kostic's legs on that occasion but Kamada was the one who committed the foul.
16:48 And he wasn't lying was he when he said Oliver Glasnett that his side came here emboldened that the first leg had given them belief.
16:58 I thought in long periods of that game they really did give a good account of themselves and it wasn't until the latter stages that we saw Barcelona start to get anywhere near their best.
17:08 This is going to be a real test for them this evening how they respond to going behind.
17:13 Araujo. Minguesa. Dembele.
17:20 Kostic combining with Kamada.
17:28 Busquets with the ball back to Araujo. Now it's with Eric Garcia the man who gave away that early penalty. Foul on Limstrum.
17:46 Busquets.
17:52 Minguesa.
17:54 Dembele seeing a lot of the ball on this near side. And it goes to Pedri. Dembele wants it back.
18:07 Aubameyang waits in the middle. Torres is in there too. Tidied up by a roader.
18:14 It was a good block from Kostic as well as Dembele tried to cross from the byline. Defensively got back, blocked the cross, really good defending.
18:23 It certainly seems to be their most productive avenue down this right hand side feeding Dembele with the ball.
18:40 Gabi. Gabi and Pedri made a big difference in the game against Levante at the weekend when they came on.
18:46 They really helped turn it around in Barcelona's favour. Swung the momentum if you like. Both in from the start tonight.
18:54 He's got issues to sort out. Xabi Hernandez saying that he felt the expectation on his side tonight was fully justified.
19:06 Said we are Barcelona, the most demanding club in the world. We have an obligation to win and to play well.
19:13 Well it's a big test for them now, it really is. I think it's a Frankfurt side that are starting positively.
19:19 They're gaining confidence. Defensively they look resolute. They've been very compact.
19:24 Mdika. Kostic.
19:34 Interega.
19:36 Now Dembele.
19:40 Barcelona get the free kick.
19:47 A little bit fortuitous there. I felt Dembele was crowded out. There wasn't too much of a physical challenge but the ball popped away and the referee gave Barcelona the free kick.
19:57 But it is Dembele that they're going to to try and turn this tie around.
20:03 I think he's really enjoyed being reunited with Aubameyang as well. Played together at Dortmund.
20:09 It's a good understanding of the relationship between them on and off the pitch.
20:13 He just looks rejuvenated Dembele in recent months. I'm sure Xabi Hernandez is very keen to keep him at camp now.
20:21 They've just got to sort that contract situation out.
20:25 Mingheza.
20:28 Go, go, go, go, go, go.
20:30 Made inside by Mdika. Kostic have made the run down the left.
20:38 Adam I've got to say they've just looked a little bit sharper Frankfurt. The way they've started the game. The way they've closed down.
20:43 Their intensity is at a level above Barcelona's at the moment. You can sense it. The crowd are getting frustrated. Xabi's not happy.
20:51 Really is a good start for the visitors.
20:54 They've done the hard yards compared to Barcelona in this competition. It's Frankfurt's tenth game in the Europa League this season.
21:03 Barcelona coming into the Europa League via the Champions League group stage.
21:08 But as was the case in Germany, it looks like Barcelona could have their work cut out tonight.
21:20 Certainly going to be made to work very hard for a place in the semi-finals by Frankfurt.
21:25 Torres comes short. They've got the equaliser for Barca in that first leg and he's been brought down here.
21:37 Yeah, just cooked late as he played that ball in the field.
21:48 referee once again in good position. Close at hand.
21:51 Jordi Alba ready to take this trap on Gart.
22:00 There's the knot from Jordi Alba.
22:17 So many on the edge of the box here. Needs a good delivery.
22:20 And it came out to Araujo and forced a save from Trapp.
22:23 Yeah, clever volley. Instinctive from Araujo. The way the ball pops to him.
22:27 Right foot, side foot volley.
22:30 Trapp was alert. You can see here.
22:35 It's goal bound before the Frankfurt keeper just tips it over.
22:41 That was going under the bar. It was rather straight at him but a good reaction from Trapp who could be busy again in a moment.
22:47 Headed clear by Ndika.
22:49 Registered their seventh La Liga win in a row at the weekend.
22:57 Barca that 3-2 victory at Levante.
22:59 An injury time winner from L'Hopdiok.
23:02 And on the bench tonight is Gaby.
23:10 Dembele has come inside.
23:13 Oudamiang in the box, Torres in the box.
23:17 They are zipping it about now, Barca.
23:20 Mingheza.
23:22 Oudamiang.
23:25 Well, they're going to have to move the ball quickly.
23:27 And certainly they're going to have to interchange. We've seen Dembele come off the right side.
23:31 There's moving, changing positions, trying to disrupt this Frankfurt defence.
23:37 Around.
23:41 As Clyde mentioned earlier, Frankfurt's link form hasn't been the greatest but that's a lovely ball.
23:59 What a fantastic pass that was.
24:01 Now, was there a foul there by Toure?
24:04 Well, the referee, Artur Diaz, says no.
24:08 Again, he was up with play, the referee.
24:11 Whether there was any contact or not, he went to ground I thought too easily.
24:15 Wasn't a penalty for me, referee waved it away.
24:18 Nicely done by Dembele, who looks to hit the byline as he overrun it.
24:22 He's just about kept that in.
24:24 Well, the referee, will it be reviewed now?
24:28 Well, there's the touch and it's a good touch initially.
24:39 No, absolutely.
24:42 None or very little contact, went to ground too easily.
24:47 Referee, great decision.
24:49 Looked like there could be a counter on there.
24:53 And they're just waiting for their moment in that respect, aren't they?
24:56 They really are carrying a threat.
24:58 There's a couple of occasions where they broke quickly.
25:00 And it's just that final pass in behind that Barcelona defence
25:04 that could give them another opportunity.
25:06 We both watched Villarreal at Bayern during the week.
25:11 And I'm seeing, I have to say, some similarities here in terms of how this game is being played.
25:16 Yeah, different ways to go about certainly creating opportunities.
25:20 And Frankfurt have their way.
25:22 They've deserved their lead in the way that they've started.
25:24 But they are carrying a threat, although they've dropped now to defend the lead that they have.
25:28 Jordi Alba, brilliantly done.
25:36 And that was to Ferran Torres. Can he pull it back?
25:41 And it came off the head of Jakić, who did his defensive duties very well.
25:46 But that was brilliant skill from Ferran Torres.
25:48 Great work from Torres, but also brilliant tracking back
25:51 to make sure that he doesn't get the cross into the danger area.
25:56 Jakić does superbly well for his team.
25:59 Frankfurt under pressure. Dembele with the cross.
26:03 Headed clear by Ndika.
26:05 It's going to come straight back in from Pedri, but he's overhit that.
26:08 That was a poor cross. A good opportunity to deliver to the back post.
26:15 But Jakić doing brilliantly there to deny Torres the opportunity to cut it back to Aubameyang.
26:21 DT Sports are supporting the DEC's Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal
26:29 to help provide basic essentials along with medical rescue teams
26:32 and protection for children and those who are vulnerable.
26:35 There's information on screen on how to donate and support the appeal.
26:40 (FANS CHANTING)
26:42 He spent his entire playing career, Oliver Glasner, in Austria.
26:52 That's the majority of that with Reed.
26:55 Also guided Wolfsburg to finish in the Champions League places
26:59 in the Bundesliga last season.
27:01 He moved in May on a three-year contract to Frankfurt.
27:08 In a struggle to finish in the European places in the Bundesliga this season,
27:13 but the real story of their campaign has been in this competition.
27:17 Could they keep the dream alive tonight? They certainly got the perfect start.
27:22 Well, they've put themselves in a fantastic position.
27:25 And as you say, this competition's the one in which they've produced their best performances.
27:33 There's no doubt about that. The Bundesliga, too inconsistent.
27:37 (FANS CHANTING)
27:39 A loss to Freiburg at home at the weekend by two goals to one.
27:47 Although Freiburg have been excellent this season.
27:50 They're chasing a top-four finish. Fifth at the moment.
27:53 Garcia.
27:56 Araujo.
28:00 Garcia.
28:05 Aubameyang.
28:06 Right in front of the referee. Foul by Jakic.
28:17 Really clever footwork once again from Torres coming off the line.
28:23 The yellow card, I think, there was for descent rather than the challenge.
28:30 The referee's the one who's in control rightly. Jakic's teammates push him away, but Torres, clever feet.
28:38 He's a real competitor, though, in the heart of that Frankfurt midfield.
28:48 Christian Jakic of Croatian International.
28:52 Yellow card, he really has to keep his head now.
28:57 Dembele with the ball in, and it was missed by Torres, who then went for the acrobatics.
29:01 And they get the free kick here at Frankfurt, the high foot from Ferran Torres.
29:06 Yeah, dangerous play on the second attempt. He actually missed the in-swing free kick.
29:10 Torres initially, and as it pops up, it's a dangerous play.
29:16 He, like Aubameyang, has been in fantastic form. Five goals in his last eight games for Barcelona, for Ferran Torres.
29:24 It's five in six for, yeah, Emre Aubameyang. He's got a great record as well against Frankfurt.
29:29 He got six in nine games against them, playing for Dortmund in the Bundesliga.
29:33 I have to say, he took his equaliser in the first leg exceptionally well.
29:39 Kamada, and Kostic has made a run here. He could play him in.
29:43 They've got three forwards. Kostic goes for goal himself.
29:50 Well, he just couldn't strike that ball across the face of the goal, Kostic.
29:54 On his favoured left foot, straight at Zagreb.
29:57 Garcia.
30:08 Backpedalling with Hinteregger.
30:14 He really is a footballer from another time. Martin Hinteregger, a big personality.
30:19 I was reading the other day that he's opened a restaurant just recently as well, along with a TV presenter in the Cronberg area.
30:27 Greater Frankfurt, here's Dembele.
30:31 Well, that's Kamada again. That's the second time that he's caught Dembele. That's why he's frustrated.
30:43 Just so nicely balanced, when in possession of the ball.
30:45 Pedry with the ball across.
30:47 It's cleared by Toure. Munguiza just about kept hold of that.
30:52 Such an energy and intensity about this game.
30:56 Munguiza was the player who was caught there just as he played that ball.
31:08 Yes, late challenge from Borja on this occasion on Munguiza.
31:13 Muscats certainly are up for this, Adam.
31:23 They have the advantage. It's been a brilliant opening 25 minutes for the visitors.
31:30 If you're a coach and you have a game plan, it's gone perfectly for Oliver Glasner.
31:38 Pedry.
31:40 Look at who's back there defending. Kostic, the man who got the goal.
31:46 That's not the first time he's done that. On a couple of occasions he's prevented crosses going in.
31:51 That's brilliant defensive work by Kostic. Not something I would say that he's renowned for.
31:55 Dembele will take the corner.
31:59 It will be an out-swinger with Garcia being watched closely by Sebastian Roda.
32:05 They've dealt with set-pieces pretty well so far, Frankfurt.
32:08 Taken quickly. Lindstrom with Canal for rival. Lindstrom brought down right on the edge of the area there.
32:20 That was almost in the box. Yellow card showed.
32:24 It was Gavi back defending, but that challenge was only just outside the area.
32:29 But they're just too quick for Barcelona. The quick throw. Lindstrom away.
32:33 Gavi clipping the back of his legs as he's right on the edge of the 18-yard box.
32:40 Rightly issued a yellow card.
32:44 And he will miss the next match as well should Barcelona reach the semi-finals.
32:53 The same case with Garcia who was booked when he gave away the penalty.
32:57 The referee here, Artur Diaz, across to have a word with Xavi.
33:03 But this guy's got a fantastic left foot. Lindstrom also showing an interest in this.
33:13 Two in the wall for Barcelona.
33:15 Borre waits in the box as we approach the half-hour mark to Steyken guarding his near post.
33:21 Will it be Lindstrom or will it be Kostic?
33:26 It's Kostic. And it's wide in the end.
33:30 It's another warning for Barcelona, isn't it? How quickly Frankfurt are capable of hitting them on the counter.
33:36 Yeah, they're carrying a real threat on the counter in particular.
33:38 They've just been sharp, quick in the way that they've moved the ball forward when they've had the opportunities.
33:43 They have been defending very well of late at home. Barca, they've kept four clean sheets in a row here.
33:53 And Frankfurt in front after just a few minutes of this second leg. 2-1 they lead on aggregate.
34:00 Well-timed challenge by Knauf.
34:08 Gavi.
34:13 Verantores.
34:15 He goes on.
34:20 There's a pullback there on Toure.
34:23 And they're defending very well. They're looking organised.
34:26 Frankfurt as they did for the vast majority of that first leg.
34:30 Toure only having played four games really has shown real composure.
34:35 You can see Toure's pulling it back.
34:38 Toure's had a good start on this right-hand side.
34:41 He's not seen much football at all this season.
34:45 Mami Toure, as Kaj says, has the four starts in the Bundesliga.
34:50 Four substitute appearances as well in the league.
34:55 Knauf. Lost it rather cheaply there.
35:01 Dembele always an outlet.
35:07 Showed too much of it though to Ndika.
35:11 Well, Kostic and Ndika, they know exactly the threat that Dembele poses.
35:15 And they're back doubling up very, very quickly.
35:18 Jordi Alba, him under pressure from Lindstrom.
35:26 Mars has two previous Europa League home games this season.
35:36 Have both ended in draws. 1-1 with Napoli, goalless with Galatasaray in the previous round.
35:42 And it is worth noting Frankfurt have been a little better on their travels domestically than they have been at home.
35:49 Five points more they've taken away from home in the Bundesliga than they have at their own stadium.
35:55 Well, it's no surprise, Adam. When you see them play like this, compact defensively,
36:01 carry a real threat on the counter-attack, they're bright and press with intensity when they go after the ball.
36:08 And then when they regain possession, they're incisive.
36:11 Fifth best away record in the Bundesliga this season, Frankfurt have...
36:17 Araujo.
36:23 Pedri.
36:26 Araujo.
36:31 Pedri.
36:32 Torres.
36:37 Garcia.
36:39 Mingheza.
36:41 Dembele.
36:44 I saw the gouter went for it, but it was so quickly shut off.
36:48 Kamada.
36:49 And then Kamada again, making the challenge.
36:56 Plenty of live Premier League action coming your way. Tottenham against Brighton on Saturday lunchtime in north London.
37:04 And as well we have Arsenal against Manchester United to look forward to as well.
37:09 The game in the race for the European place is Saturday the 23rd of April, for that a lunchtime kick-off.
37:16 Obamiak.
37:18 Just not quite on the same wavelength there as Gaby.
37:24 Obamiak.
37:26 Well we just haven't seen anything of the quality that Obamiak has brought since coming to Barcelona over the two ties so far.
37:34 Says he already feels at home playing in La Liga.
37:42 His mum is Spanish, apparently his grandad supported Atletico.
37:47 A big fan of Spanish football, his grandad.
37:51 Why did he come here for Mingheza?
37:53 He was taken in the newspapers as seen as a bit of a slight on Arsenal when he said that he was already feeling at home so quickly at Barcelona.
38:03 I'm not quite so sure it was really, maybe misinterpreted there.
38:07 I guess only he'll know the truth.
38:09 But he'll be concerned.
38:11 Oh without a doubt.
38:13 His team really haven't been at the level required at the start of this second leg.
38:21 Frankfurt have been the quickest, their intensity has been better.
38:25 And the most important thing is they have the all-important advantage at this point.
38:30 Good challenge that by Sebastian Rolda.
38:33 And this is Jakic.
38:34 Wide it comes for Knauf.
38:36 He's up against Jordi Alba.
38:38 Borre arriving on the edge of the box.
38:41 Lindstrom is there as well.
38:42 It's fantastic skill from Knauf.
38:43 Can he get a shot in?
38:44 He can!
38:45 And it's saved by Toschdegen.
38:47 That was mesmerising stuff from Knauf.
38:49 Brilliant run from Knauf.
38:51 In the end he just couldn't strike it with the ferocity that was needed.
38:55 Weaves his way across the 18-yard box.
38:58 The opportunities there just doesn't hit it as hard as he would have wanted.
39:02 He said Clive, after he scored his first European goal in the first leg,
39:06 he said "I'll never forget it. I still can't believe that it's real."
39:09 A sensational goal it really was.
39:11 The highest quality, the technique, the first touch,
39:14 and then the strike off the outside of his boot was quite brilliant.
39:17 He was playing in the third tier in Germany,
39:22 in Dortmund's reserves earlier this season.
39:26 As recently as January.
39:28 Knauf now playing in a major European quarter-final at Camp Nou.
39:32 How quickly things can move in the world of football.
39:35 He's crossed the opportunity.
39:39 And he will never, ever forget that first goal, that's for sure.
39:43 He looks a real talent, doesn't he?
39:45 - Certainly does, yes.
39:47 Yet another one off that production line.
39:53 Such fertile ground, hasn't it, for Dortmund over so many years.
39:59 They look after young players so well.
40:02 Always have a plan for them.
40:04 Garcia.
40:06 I just wonder if they can get to half-time with this advantage.
40:11 How the home faithful will react, they've become accustomed to this Barcelona side.
40:16 They've been in great form, they've been winning games, scoring goals.
40:19 But against Frankfurt, they've found it very difficult
40:22 to create the opportunities that you would expect.
40:25 - Kostic.
40:26 Borre.
40:28 Now Kamadus made the run on the outside, he hasn't seen it.
40:31 Goes to goal himself!
40:32 And scores a screamer!
40:34 There's no other word for it!
40:36 Raphael Borre!
40:39 With a goal he will never forget!
40:42 Scored at Camp Nou!
40:44 Wow!
40:46 - Adam, I'm thinking like you that he should have passed that ball to the left-hand side.
40:51 But what does he do?
40:52 Cuts inside, he takes his time, he weighs it up.
40:55 But what a magnificent strike!
40:58 There won't be a better goal in the quarter-finals of this competition
41:02 than that struck by Borre to give them an unbelievable 2-0 lead.
41:09 And when he picks the ball up here, the opportunity was to strike it
41:13 or feed it away to the left-hand side.
41:16 But in the end, it's hit with power, it just fizzes past Stegen.
41:22 What a strike!
41:25 What a scoreline!
41:27 - He'd only scored once in his last 14 appearances.
41:33 He'd gone 7 without a goal.
41:35 That's some way to end a drought!
41:38 And they are in some sort of dreamland here.
41:43 - They can't quite believe it, I don't think anybody can.
41:45 But what a sensational opening 37 minutes from Frankfurt.
41:50 - Clive Oliver Glasner, from a coach's perspective,
41:56 could not have played this any better, could he?
41:59 - No, he's gone absolutely to perfection to this point.
42:03 And what an opportunity his side now have.
42:07 - I could watch that over and over again.
42:10 You'll rarely see a football struck as well as that.
42:12 - Absolutely brilliantly hit.
42:15 I've got to say, the better option was sliding that ball wide to Kostic who was supporting him.
42:22 - I was thinking, why has he not played him in?
42:24 - Because he was going to do exactly what he did.
42:26 He only had one thing in his mind.
42:29 And what a hit. - What a goal.
42:32 Araujo, pressure from Rafael Borre.
42:36 And there is some story unfolding at camp now.
42:40 Jakic.
42:43 - They've got this unbeaten away record in this competition this season.
42:49 And they've put themselves into a fantastic position here.
42:53 - Camada, Barcelona are all over the place at the moment.
42:56 Kostic will chase this.
42:58 There are four in the box here for Frankfurt.
43:00 It's towards Knauf.
43:02 And Jakic!
43:03 And saved by Ter Stegen.
43:05 - Didn't quite hit it, Jakic, as cleanly as he would have liked.
43:08 But once again, what a swift counter.
43:10 Kostic's got Costa to back post.
43:12 Heading back for Jakic to volley.
43:14 Just doesn't hit it sweetly enough.
43:17 But another opportunity, Adam.
43:29 - It's a bit of a second chance, really, for Rafael Borre.
43:32 In terms of European football, he's a Colombian international.
43:35 He was at River Plate where he won the 2018 Copa Libertadores.
43:40 And he was at Atletico, between 2015 and 2017.
43:46 Look at that. Five attempts on target for Frankfurt.
43:49 One for Barcelona.
43:51 Who would have predicted that when we've had almost 40 minutes here?
43:54 I can't quite believe what we're seeing here.
43:56 - No, it's quite a breathtaking performance from Frankfurt.
43:58 Right from the beginning of this game.
44:01 They've been on the front foot.
44:03 They've completely unsettled Barcelona.
44:06 And thoroughly deserved their 2-0 lead.
44:09 - Now Raul.
44:11 Just shows you how misleading possession stats can be, doesn't it?
44:16 - Different way to win games.
44:18 And the Frankfurt way at the moment this evening is working brilliantly.
44:22 - Great news for West Ham.
44:26 They have taken the lead in France against Lyon.
44:30 Craig Dawson, what an unlikely goalscorer,
44:33 has put them in front on the night and in the tie.
44:37 - Well, what a competition we have unfolding.
44:42 - I always think with the Europa League, year in, year out,
44:47 it's so underrated.
44:48 I think it's a wonderful competition.
44:50 It's very often wide open.
44:51 It's so difficult to pick who will win it.
44:55 - Some excellent stories unfolding in it this season as well.
44:59 - Certainly none more so than this one.
45:02 Barcelona, I think when you looked,
45:04 the last eight teams warranted that favourite position.
45:10 But what a performance from Frankfurt.
45:13 - Can they keep it going?
45:16 Five to go in this first half.
45:18 Kaneda with the header to Kostic.
45:23 Quite rich.
45:24 Borre.
45:25 Gambele.
45:27 And Dika was there.
45:28 There's always a Frankfurt player there at the moment.
45:31 Kaneda.
45:32 - Well, Barcelona in this first half have never really had
45:48 controlled possession of the ball in a manner that they would have liked.
45:51 The way that Xavi wants them to play.
45:53 And you can only give Frankfurt the credit for the way that they've worked tirelessly
45:58 to close down, to unsettle Barcelona.
46:00 But then when they've had the ball themselves,
46:02 they've been really effective.
46:04 - Could they get one back before half-time?
46:09 Came off Hinteregger.
46:11 Barcelona will be glad that the away goals rule isn't involved anymore.
46:16 - Absolutely.
46:20 - Make their task even more difficult.
46:22 Gambele.
46:23 Jordi Alba.
46:26 I'd imagine Xavi can't wait to get them in at half-time.
46:31 It could get worse for them here.
46:32 Look at this.
46:33 How many white shirts are getting forward?
46:35 Jakic, but Araujo did enough for Barcelona,
46:38 who again were wide open.
46:40 - Well, Kamada was the one.
46:41 He was the widest on that left-hand side when they broke.
46:44 Just needed that ball to be played into the acres of space.
46:47 In the end, the pass was behind two Frankfurt attackers
46:51 that were in fabulous positions on the counter.
46:54 Busquets.
47:01 - You just sensed the longer the game goes on,
47:04 the more that Barcelona have to take chances, push players forward,
47:08 that the counter-attack is going to be so important for Frankfurt
47:12 that they could capitalise.
47:13 As this game wears on,
47:14 the opportunities are going to be there for them.
47:17 - Araujo.
47:18 Gambele.
47:20 Played with purpose to Gavi.
47:29 Torres.
47:32 I guess if you can win at Bayern and you're a German side,
47:39 you'll believe that you can win anywhere
47:41 as they won in Munich, you might recall, back in October.
47:46 Frankfurt, memories of that victory
47:49 certainly will have helped give them belief
47:51 coming into this, as will their first-leg performance
47:54 and how they built on it.
47:56 And superb, right from the very, literally, the first whistle,
48:01 they've been at it.
48:02 - Yeah, they've been on the front four
48:04 and they've really surprised, I think, Xavi and Barcelona.
48:07 They just haven't got going.
48:10 - I wonder whether he'll be thinking about changes
48:13 at half-time already.
48:14 - Well, I wouldn't be surprised to see maybe De Jong come in.
48:18 I thought he was really good
48:19 when being introduced in that first leg.
48:21 - Oh, look at this again from Knauf, brilliant.
48:23 Might go alone!
48:25 And wasn't far away.
48:27 Look at the confidence he's playing with.
48:29 - Just needed to hit the target.
48:30 Knauf with a brilliant run again off that right side.
48:33 Opportunity to strike.
48:35 Just needed to hit the target.
48:37 The pace was in the shot,
48:38 but it was always rising over the crossbar.
48:40 - Just a reminder, we have a huge fight coming up at Wembley,
48:46 don't we, on Saturday, the 23rd of April.
48:49 It is Fury against White.
48:51 You can see that on Box Office.
48:53 Now Raoho, final minute of the half.
48:59 Roda has been a calm influence in the heart of that midfield.
49:07 Sebastian Roda, who of course has come into the team
49:10 with Jibril So, not available.
49:12 Here's that run from Knauf.
49:14 - But when he cuts in, he has time to weigh it up.
49:18 The only disappointment, I'm sure, from him
49:20 is that he doesn't hit the target.
49:22 - Kamada.
49:29 Trying a backheel there in the centre of the midfield.
49:34 Wide it comes to Kostic. Instant control from him.
49:37 Might have gone down there.
49:39 Challenged from behind by Dembele.
49:41 And there is the half-time whistle,
49:46 and what a half it's been for Frankfurt.
49:49 Kostic with the opening goal from the penalty spot.
49:53 They were right at it, right from the word go.
49:57 And then Raphael Borek with an absolute screamer
50:01 to put them 2-0 up.
50:03 Who would have scripted this?
50:05 It's just been one of those weeks in Europe.
50:07 And there is that goal from Raphael Borek.
50:10 And he's second in 15 matches to Stegen.
50:17 Comprehensively beaten. He was off.
50:20 They can't quite believe this, Frankfurt.
50:23 They have been brilliant.
50:25 And their 30,000 travelling supporters
50:28 are in dreamland right now.
50:31 Barcelona fans need a big reaction from their team.
50:34 At half-time here, incredibly,
50:36 it is Barcelona 0, Frankfurt 2.
50:39 - Thank you. - Sure, sure.
