00:00 Hello we are standing on the beautiful Rotsi here in Lucerne for the final
00:06 Olympic and Paralympic qualification regatta. This regatta is also known as
00:11 the last chance regatta because for every crew that is yet to book their
00:15 spot at either the Paralympic or Olympic Games this is their officially their
00:20 last chance. Over three days we get to see 183 crews race for the final 37
00:28 spots for either the Paralympic or Olympic Games. We'll have heats,
00:32 repercharges and then finals with in most cases the top two from each final
00:38 booking their tickets to Paris. As an athlete this regatta can be the most
00:44 challenging of the Olympic cycle. Four years of work goes into trying to get to
00:48 the Games and over the next three days we're going to see the highs and lows of
00:52 some crews getting to achieve their Olympic or Paralympic dreams and sadly
00:57 for the majority of the people at this regatta the Olympic campaign or
01:02 Paralympic campaign is going to come to the end.
