00:00 A few title races have gone to the final day. This time it was Arsenal and Manchester City. Man City have won the title again, six Premier League titles for Guardiola and a number of his players as well. They're up to eight overall. Where has this put them amongst previous winners of this title? How prestigious is it?
00:29 How prestigious are they? Obviously winning the treble last time, they can do a double this season still. It's quite remarkable.
00:36 It just keeps on going. That juggernaut that is Manchester City at the moment under Pep Guardiola. I think, let's be honest, as much as Arsenal might have hoped for a bit of a slip-up against West Ham, I don't think it was ever really going to happen.
00:49 I know West Ham caused a little bit of tension with Mohamed Kouda's score, that wonderful overhead kick. And then of course, Thomas Sucek's handball goal in the last couple of minutes as well.
01:01 It could have made it nervy considering that Arsenal had just gone ahead at that point. But yeah, as you rightly say, Charles, they just keep on achieving things that we never thought were possible.
01:12 The one thing that lingers over all of this, of course, is the 115 charges that are still yet to be resolved. With that being said, you can congratulate them now and you can congratulate them for the previous seasons as well, but it remains to be seen what will happen.
01:27 Will they get the book thrown at them in the next few months?
01:31 Yeah, and obviously, the end of the season marks times where we look back and we give individual awards. Cole Palmer with, obviously, Haaland winning the Golden Boot, but Cole Palmer with 22 goals and 11 assists.
01:44 Jadon Watkins, 19 goals, 13 assists, won the Playmaker Award. Phil Foden, of course, winning the Player of the Season Award, all English, all ahead of a massive tournament in the summer.
01:55 I mean, specifically on Palmer and Watkins, how do you fit them into the England side at the moment? You don't, because there are retrospective players better in that position.
02:07 Phil Foden, for me, is probably one of the first or second names on the team sheet with Jude Bellingham. But these two players, they can't go missing in the summer. They've got to be there as at least backup options, you think, after such remarkable individual seasons.
02:21 Yeah, I would agree. Obviously, as you say, Phil Foden and Jude Bellingham, that type of player, you can't. They're nailed on to be starters at the European Championships. But, as you say, Cole Palmer's had a phenomenal season at Chelsea.
02:38 A big sum for him. And he's gone off and actually got game time, which perhaps he wouldn't have had as much at Manchester City. So I think it's a deal that's worked both ways. You'd think Watkins would go to the Euros as the main understudy to Harry Kane.
02:52 But I think he might be tempted to take one more. But I'm not sure who that will be just yet.
02:59 yet.
