Proposed housing project near the Kg Bohol Flood Retention Pond must not take up any pond, says Kok

The proposed housing project near the Kampung Bohol Flood Retention Pond (KTB) in Kuala Lumpur must not encroach on the pond reserve land.
Following a briefing and site visit on Monday (May 20), Seputeh MP Teresa Kok informed reporters that one of the six plots proposed for development would encroach on a portion of the storm water management pond.
Kok noted that there are limits to deepening the pond to increase its capacity and expressed disappointment that she was not consulted about the project despite being the area's MP.
