00:00Then, I was an institutionalist, but he
00:05decided to circumvent the nonpartisan group that
00:08has done the debates for three decades.
00:10So I just wondered if you could talk a little bit about that.
00:14The debates?
00:15I know.
00:15It's about his schedule, so I thought I'd talk about it.
00:18Again, I know there's a lot of interest
00:20in what the campaign announced earlier this morning,
00:22obviously, through a video from the president.
00:25I'm going to be really mindful.
00:26We are talking about 2024 election,
00:29and so we are committed to the rule of law here.
00:32I want to respect that.
00:33So anything specific related to that,
00:36obviously, you're going to have to go to the campaign,
00:38as we've been pretty consistent here.
00:40The president's agenda is pretty clear.
00:42He wants to create an agenda that works for all,
00:45leaves no one behind, and an economy that
00:48is built from the bottom up, middle out,
00:50an economy founded on strong, growing middle class.
00:53We've been very clear about that.
00:54He wants to make sure that we have
00:59an America that is more free.
01:01That's what he concerns about, including reproductive rights.
01:04He wants to make sure that we are not,
01:06the president has also said that we
01:08want to make sure that we don't stand
01:09for the dark, revenge-based policies put forward
01:13by Republican officials.
01:14That's not where we are.
01:16We want to make sure that we are continuing to deliver
01:21for the American people.
01:22That's what this president's been doing for the last three
01:24years.
01:25As it relates to the news about the debate challenge,
01:29that is something that the campaign
01:31has to speak to directly.
