00:00Hi, I'm Tracy Sprigg and I've taken over Annick Market and I'm delighted to represent
00:07these fabulous traders.
00:09I've been promoting Annick for the past seven years with All About Annick on social media.
00:15So I know all about how Annick works, the tourists, the businesses and everything.
00:21So Annick Market needs the love and attention it deserves and it hasn't had for a while. So there's lots of plans
00:29We're bringing a Friday market in as well.
00:33It's a different audience every day because of the tourists and we've got some fabulous designers,
00:40makers and bakers with handmade items, artists, jewelers and you have to support your local market.
00:48That's what's important and this has been a market for 800 years. So we've got to keep it going.
00:54We've got lots of plans and it's just going to get bigger and better.
00:59I've been doing here since about 2020. So I've travelled all around the country doing a lot of work in the history side of it.
01:08But yeah, I've done markets along and I would say this is one of the best markets we've done.
01:13So I think it's just been great having Tracy come on board really and that she's local and she understands
01:22the importance of having a market town and it's just been really enthusiastic about promoting it.
01:29So it's getting bigger and bigger and better and better.
01:33And we've definitely had more and more visitors coming in, I've noticed today especially.
01:39So yeah, it's good.
01:41Are you happy to be outdoors?
01:44I think just to see all the stalls, it's just great for people to kind of, it draws people in.
01:52I mean, indoors was lovely, don't get me wrong, when it's winter and it's freezing, it's great up there because it's a beautiful space.
01:58But there's nothing quite like the buzz of being outside, you know, so yeah.
