00:00For me and my future, it's something that next year, personally I'm more than comfortable
00:08to talk about it but for the meantime I feel it's a little bit disrespectful on my behalf
00:14to be talking about what's going to happen next year.
00:17My focus for me and my teammates at the moment is giving my best week in, week out for the
00:24Dragons.
00:25I'm stoked that my future is now sorted but for the meantime mate, we're 5-on-5 coming
00:32into a bye.
00:33I feel we're sitting in a good position at the moment.
00:36I feel personally I'm playing football that my teammates are happy with, that the club's
00:43happy with and personally I'm happy with as well.
00:45I pride myself on being a football player that can adapt and coming into this season,
00:52that was the word I was looking for was being able to adapt and play that role that was
00:57best for the team and I feel that I've been able to do that mate and I've been proud of
01:04myself and our team's efforts.
01:05I love my teammates too.
01:06Mate, I get to live and work the best job in the world and I love it.
01:13I love being able to turn up to training and do what I love for my young kids.
01:19For me, the rest of it's a little bit of an external noise but at the end of the day,
01:25I get to wake up and do the job that I love and I've always wanted to do since I was a
01:30young boy.
01:31I'm not the only one that's made a decision based on career and moved clubs.
01:35It happens every day in Rugby League and obviously I've been here for a number of years now and
01:41played 100 games here at the club but to say that doesn't happen all the time in Rugby
01:47League.
01:48It does obviously but that's just the way that footy goes and as I said, I've made a
01:56decision but I'm more than comfortable to talk about next year's decision, next year
02:00when the time's right.
02:02My best game of football is when I'm chasing the ball, when I'm competing on everything,
02:06when I'm playing around the footy, whatever position that is, right centre, left centre,
02:10right wing, left wing, full back.
02:13My best game is when I'm chasing the footy and just enjoying it.
02:18The big thing is my team mates know that I'm not going to let them down.
02:21Winning is the big thing.
02:22I just want to be able to win and I'm sure most of the boys and my team mates will tell
02:30you I'm competitive, I'm a bit of a sore loser but I just want to win, wherever that is and
02:37whatever role I'm doing for the team, I hope I can do the best that I can.
02:41It's life and decisions get made and sometimes they're decisions that people don't agree
02:46with which I understand that but I've been at the Dragons for a long time now which I've
02:55built a connection with a lot of fans over the time and that happens, rugby league, a
03:02lot of things change sometimes but the Dragons and the Red V fans, they're obviously very
03:09passionate supporters.
03:10I've been super grateful to, as I said, build a good relationship with a lot of them and
03:16hopefully they can keep real supportive and stay with us much for the rest of the year.
03:23With everything that went on, it went on for mine I guess so to speak, went on for a little
03:28bit longer and it sort of gained a fair bit of momentum, it was going on for a lot of
03:33the pre-season so I guess once it was done, it was done.
03:36It was good to just sort of put it past me and have it all done.
03:40It's sort of been a tough one too because our performance haven't shown that we've built
03:45too much consistency over winning a lot of games over the past.
03:52So I feel for me my focus is to change that in my period that I'm still here and I want
03:59to be able to leave on a real positive note and win as many games as we can.
