00:00The Agricultural Departments in the Senate have insisted that the vaccines against rabies should not be distributed yet.

00:08Ma'am Gonzales has learned a lesson.

00:21and pigs and cows who also got rabies in some provinces.

00:24In the midst of these rumors and the need for rabies control,

00:29the Senate Committee on Agriculture first informed the Department of Agriculture

00:33that the anti-rabies vaccine is worth P10 million

00:37and that it should not be distributed yet to the local governments.

00:40Anti-rabies, how do you divide it all over the place?

01:54The number of animals being killed per pound is also increasing.

01:58But animal rights activists ask,

02:01shouldn't priority be given to strays?

02:04Is it more expensive to do that versus just strays?

02:08What happens is, there are more stray animals than ever before.

02:13So we have to question the validity of this practice.

02:18Increase the number of strays because that will stop the stray dogs.

02:23For rabies, the local government can take care of that.

02:26Rabies is cheap.

02:27Capon and ligate are expensive.

02:29And that is population control.

02:32That's why stray dogs and cats will be reduced.
