Judas, a wealthy playboy living in Hong Kong, is obsessed with snakes. His apartment is full of them, and he treats them as if they were his children. One night Judas' brother persuades him to accompany him to see a dance act at a nightclub. Judas is astounded to see that the act consists of a beautiful Asian woman who dances nude while holding a python. He is immediately smitten, and winds up hiring her to take care of his snakes while he's away on business. However, things start to take a sinister turn.

00:04:10Judas.
00:04:13My dear Judas.
00:04:16Don't forget that after all I am your brother.
00:04:20I'm the one who has to soil his hands with a little honest toil running the family business.
00:04:27If only because of that I'm entitled to a little relaxation once in a while.
00:04:33And in that capacity, my dear brother, I'm insisting you come along.
00:04:41Well, if you put it that way, Jules, how can I refuse you?
00:04:49All right.
00:05:10That's her, the girl I told you about. The one I met on the plane.

00:14:01I'd probably still be the curator of reptiles back home, eh?
00:14:07Sometimes I really think it's impossible to understand you.
00:14:11You're practically a millionaire.
00:14:15But until last night you hadn't been outside this apartment for I don't know almost a month
00:14:27You've been living here in Hong Kong for over five years now since father died
00:14:32But I swear the only friends you have at all are those blasted snakes
00:14:39Judas aren't you interested about anything else?
00:14:43Um, so he's gonna change you one day
00:14:49Damn you. I'm off to Tokyo tonight. Bye
00:15:12I
00:15:26Know I don't chin. Oh, good morning. I'm
00:15:31Sorry, but this is not Jen
00:15:34Who are you?
00:15:37Well, let's just say that I'm an admirer
00:15:40From a distance who gave you my phone number
00:15:48What do you want well what I want is to
00:15:52To invite you to lunch at your favorite restaurant, it's too early for jokes
00:16:01Well, you're not afraid are you not really I'm just curious oh
00:16:06Well, why don't you just satisfy your curiosity and and meet me at one o'clock
00:16:36You
00:17:07Oh, thanks very much
00:17:16Thank you for coming
00:17:19But I know you really I saw you yesterday where you were sitting over there no, I was sitting over there
00:17:28Again thank you for coming. I was curious to see who knew my favorite restaurant
00:17:37All the things I like my favorite dishes, yes, and all I had to do was
00:17:44Ask the waiter
00:17:49You're so kind but why why did you ask me to come?
00:17:54Well, maybe it was just for the pleasure of spending an hour
00:17:59With you, of course, that would really be enough
00:18:02But also to satisfy my curiosity yesterday you were on the plane from Holland and
00:18:09You met my brother Jules
00:18:11Jules. Yes, when you're Judas
00:18:14We haven't been introduced, but I think you know my name
00:18:17Yes, Eva
00:18:20But I didn't know that Jules had told you about me
00:18:26You know, it was Jules who took me to the nightclub to watch you perform
00:18:30So you came to see me dance, yes
00:18:33Yes, and you were very good
00:18:37In fact
00:18:39You were quite unique, you know, the the snake dance has ancient origins
00:18:46There aren't too many people who can perform it the way you did
00:18:50Oh
00:18:52Tell me about yourself
00:18:55Tell me about yourself
00:18:58You know what I'm doing for a living yes, you've seen me work I
00:19:03Think dancing with snakes since I was a child all over the world. I was coming from Holland when I met your brother
00:19:15Do you live alone tell me about yourself, where do you live?
00:19:25I
00:19:29Will do better than that I'll show you I think you'll find it quite interesting
00:19:35I'm impressed
00:19:37Do you live here alone?
00:19:39Well, not entirely my brother Jules stays here when he's in town. Oh
00:19:46I'd like you to meet some friends of mine. Come on
00:19:54All my life I've been fascinated by these creatures they seem to epitomize fear and I want to know why I want to know I
00:20:03Want to know why fear exists at all. It doesn't have to
00:20:08This is a viper from Africa
00:20:11You know, this could be a descendant from the one that slew Cleopatra
00:20:17I
00:20:19Know this could be a descendant from the one that slew Cleopatra
00:20:25He's looking at you jealously, but he can be loving too
00:20:31Here
00:20:33They had her from the Sahara. He lives in the desert. Oh
00:20:38In this the fair Delance from South America is beautiful
00:20:43Deadly last year 10,000 men and women died from its kiss. I've only had him about oh
00:20:49about a month
00:20:51But we all gonna get to be friends
00:20:56Well, we're all friends, you know, it's kind of fun and uh, and it's educational
00:21:05Do you find this exciting
00:21:08You know, I knew that when I when I saw you at the nightclub that you wouldn't be afraid oh
00:21:16And now the two stars of my collection first
00:21:23Now friend the Python is resting he doesn't eat very often and yesterday he filled himself up he had four choice rats
00:21:37Oh and second over here, I'd like to leave
00:21:40Why?
00:21:42I'm frightened
00:21:44Not of the snakes but of you
00:21:50Let's have a drink first
00:21:54Fear and fascination, you know
00:21:57They're really the same thing. I
00:22:00think it was I
00:22:02think it was Oscar Wilde who said that
00:22:07It's like something with Tigers
00:22:20Listen
00:22:22Why don't you come and live here
00:22:27You have to understand I'm
00:22:30Very rich man, perhaps richer than any man you've ever known
00:22:35And I'll respect you I
00:22:39Don't understand you yes, but you will
00:22:43You can have everything you want
00:22:45Everything you ever dreamed of possessing given to you freely
00:22:49without demands and
00:22:51no conditions
00:22:54Why
00:23:01Gets lonely sometimes
00:23:04Besides
00:23:08I like the scent of you
00:23:13Goodbye
00:23:18But we'll meet again I
00:23:21Don't know
00:23:23But I won't be able to forget you. Thank you for showing me your home and your friends
00:23:31I really must go
00:23:35Forgive me Eva, but you know how jealous I get I don't care what you do with women
00:23:41But it's torture to me. Whenever you go with another man, it drives me crazy
00:23:46What makes you act this way to me?
00:24:04I
00:24:34I
00:25:05I
00:25:20This is your room and this is your key
00:25:35You
00:25:45Judas has opened an account in the bank in your name
00:25:52In this envelope is the bank book and the amount he's deposited for you
00:25:59You want anything you just ask me more or less I'm the manager of the company
00:26:04But why why all these?
00:26:07Judas wants it
00:26:09And you deserve it because you're beautiful and he appreciates beauty
00:26:34You
00:27:04You
00:27:34You
00:28:04You
00:28:34You
00:28:39She's damn attractive
00:28:42Yes, she's a
00:28:46A wonderful person
00:28:49Just changed my whole life since he's come here to live
00:28:54You know something I
00:28:57Think what's really happened
00:29:00Is that you've added one more to your collection a very beautiful one indeed
00:29:05But don't forget three things
00:29:09She's a female of the species
00:29:12human and
00:29:14Maybe rather dangerous
00:29:18Good night Judas
00:29:34You
00:29:57Eva
00:30:00Come here and very slowly
00:30:05How did you know I was here I didn't he did he sent it you
00:30:14This is my favorite it's the green mamba, it's the smallest one I have but the most dangerous
00:30:22Very different from the animals that you used to dance with
00:30:26You can see is
00:30:30It's family
00:30:32It's fangs are still intact
00:30:36He can kill in a second if he wants why should he want to kill
00:30:41Now there are two reasons if he's attacked and the other
00:30:48The scent of fear knows if you're afraid and then
00:30:56When he attacks
00:30:58And you're not afraid I
00:31:01Spent most of my life looking after these
00:31:06Always in the hope of finding the reason for fear
00:31:13But you're different
00:31:17Your courage is
00:31:20Natural I think that's what attracted me to you
00:31:24I almost forgot. We're going to have a party tomorrow night a party
00:31:30I thought you hadn't any friends
00:31:33apart from these
00:31:37Well, this was arranged by Jules he
00:31:41He's a very good man
00:31:44He's a very good man. He's a very good man
00:31:49He's a very good man
00:31:51He's a very good man
00:32:00He's a very good man
00:32:15He's a very good man
00:32:21But I don't think he really knows me.
00:32:46Eva, I want you to meet Candy and uh...
00:32:50Hi, Robert.
00:32:51Hi. Oh, Robert.
00:32:52Hello.
00:32:53You know, Jules never has any difficulty remembering girls' names.
00:32:57It's the boys' names he tends to forget.
00:32:59Come on, I'll introduce you to my friends.
00:33:20You seem to know every pretty girl in town.
00:33:29Yeah.
00:33:30But the most beautiful one belongs to you.
00:33:33I don't think Eva belongs to anybody.
00:33:36If I buy her a few things, so what?
00:33:39It gives me pleasure.
00:33:40I've got plenty of money.
00:33:42And you didn't have to work for it, did you, Judas?
00:33:45Now, come on, Jules.
00:33:46You know what it says in the will.
00:33:48You behave yourself properly for five years and half of everything belongs to you.
00:33:54Yep.
00:34:00I'd like to get to know you better.
00:34:02Would you?
00:34:03I was curious to meet you.
00:34:05But I don't understand why a nice girl like you is wasting her time with all these boring people.
00:34:10Well, I'm here with my parents and with Robert, you know?
00:34:18Help him to escape from all those old people.
00:34:21And let's go out on the terrace.
00:34:23Mm-hmm.
00:34:29The nicest thing about this marvelous city is the night.
00:34:32So warm and relaxing.
00:34:35We have to appreciate it, enjoy it every moment.
00:34:40To make love on a night like this would be wonderful, wouldn't it?
00:34:55In my dreams, I often imagine such a setting.
00:34:58Me too.
00:35:00I think the night's so beautiful.
00:35:30Mm-hmm.
00:36:00Eva, Judas is looking for you.
00:36:16He would like you to act as hostess for the evening.
00:36:47Eva.
00:37:01Eva, I'd like you to meet a friend of mine.
00:37:03This is Jerry.
00:37:04Hi, Jerry.
00:37:05Hello, Eva.
00:37:06Jules was very insistent.
00:37:07I'd love you to come.
00:37:09Let's just stay and have lunch here.
00:37:11I'm going back into the water before we eat.
00:37:14Why don't you join me?
00:37:15I'm sorry, but I don't have a swimsuit.
00:37:18You can borrow one of mine.
00:37:20Come on.
00:37:21So long, then.
00:37:22I'll be seeing you tomorrow.
00:37:23Aren't you staying?
00:37:24Sorry, I have to go.
00:37:26Judas is waiting for me.
00:37:28Important business.
00:37:29Bye.
00:37:30Bye.
00:37:43Thank you.
00:38:10Thank you.
00:38:11I'll help you.
00:38:41Thank you.
00:39:02Thank you.
00:39:27Thank you.
00:39:53Are you for us?
00:40:07You'll see.
00:40:08It's wonderful.
00:40:21It's wonderful.
00:40:49It's wonderful.
00:41:17It's wonderful.
00:41:45It's wonderful.
00:42:13It's wonderful.
00:42:41It's wonderful.
00:43:10It's wonderful.
00:43:27Well, Geri.
00:43:30Eva tells me that you're studying Chinese medicine.
00:43:34That's right.
00:43:36It's a fascinating subject.
00:43:38She works in a clinic for the poor as a volunteer.
00:43:42How unpleasant.
00:43:44It doesn't sound very glamorous.
00:43:46I think it's wonderful to be doing something useful.
00:43:49I thought perhaps you were content being so ornamental.
00:43:55Eva's more than ornamental, Judas.
00:43:58You don't appreciate her enough.
00:44:00Thanks, Judas.
00:44:02It's nice to be appreciated rather than collected.
00:44:05Collected?
00:44:07Really, Eva, I didn't realize you felt that way.
00:44:11It's getting late.
00:44:12I really have to go.
00:44:15I'll drive you home.
00:44:16I can get a cab.
00:44:18Oh, no, no.
00:44:20Eva wants to show off her new car, don't you, darling?
00:44:23You mustn't refuse her.
00:44:26It's been a marvelous evening.
00:44:27It really has.
00:44:28I'm taking you home.
00:44:29Oh, no, no.
00:44:30That's all right.
00:44:31Geri, when you know Eva like I do,
00:44:33you know you can't say no to her.
00:44:35Don't be nasty, Judas.
00:44:37Come on, Geri.
00:44:38I'd really like to drive you home.
00:44:39We can have a talk on the way.
00:44:41I won't be gone long.
00:44:42Good night.
00:44:43We'll get together soon.
00:44:44Good night.
00:44:46Eva seems very interested in that girl.
00:44:48I wonder why.
00:44:49Ah.
00:44:50And you seem very interested in Eva.
00:44:53I wonder why.
00:44:55I wonder why.
00:45:18Geri, with me, you can't be frank.
00:45:21You've given up your studies because you haven't any money.
00:45:24And that's why you're going back to Newport tomorrow.
00:45:27The ticket's in your bag, isn't it?
00:45:31Open your bag and show it to me.
00:45:40What on earth are you doing?
00:45:41I mustn't lose it.
00:45:52Pretty?
00:45:56Now, don't be afraid.
00:46:00Never murders its prey.
00:46:02Some hypnotize small birds or mice,
00:46:06and then when the victim is unconscious,
00:46:09they swallow them whole.
00:46:11And when the victim is conscious,
00:46:13they swallow them whole.
00:46:15And when the victim is unconscious,
00:46:17they swallow them whole.
00:46:19It's not much different from what we do.
00:46:22Is it, baby?
00:46:23Go on, Jules.
00:46:24Let's make her touch it.
00:46:25Now, this is no game, Jules.
00:46:27Not with this one.
00:46:38I hate you.
00:46:39I think you're becoming a dirty old man.
00:46:43I think it's time I was off.
00:46:44I'm meeting Robert at the airport.
00:46:46So long, Judas.
00:46:48Thanks for showing me those awful creatures.
00:46:50Bye, Candy.
00:46:52Come and see us again, huh?
00:46:54Say goodbye.
00:46:56Goodbye.
00:47:00Why don't we get together later?
00:47:02It'll be like old times.
00:47:06I don't know.
00:47:07I don't know.
00:47:08Why don't we get together later?
00:47:10It'll be like old times.
00:47:12Come on, baby.
00:47:14All right, you beast.
00:47:39The way it happened the first time was so awful.
00:47:42I didn't want it to happen ever again.
00:47:44What exactly made you turn against it?
00:47:47You see, my first time I was violated.
00:47:49I'd never really wanted it to happen to me at all.
00:47:52So even now, with men, it feels so dreadful.
00:47:58You poor thing.
00:47:59Tomorrow you're carrying on with your studies.
00:48:02I have no money.
00:48:04I'll take care of that.
00:48:06No.
00:48:07I don't want pity, not at all.
00:48:09I don't want it from you.
00:48:11I'm not giving you pity.
00:48:13Don't you understand, Jerry?
00:48:15I'm giving you love.
00:48:17That's right.
00:48:18I love you, Jerry.
00:48:36I love you.
00:49:07No.
00:49:12No.
00:49:15No.
00:49:36No.
00:49:57I think you'll like it here.
00:49:59The atmosphere is rather special.
00:50:01Hi!
00:50:03This is Ben.
00:50:04She runs the joint.
00:50:05I won't permit you to insult my joint by calling it a joint.
00:50:08Welcome anyway.
00:50:09Jerry and I are together.
00:50:11Lucky you.
00:50:12I'll get you a nice table.
00:50:14As you see, you're in high class company here,
00:50:17and we have a fabulous floor show.
00:50:21You have fabulous clientele, too.
00:50:23We're the in place.
00:50:25All the guys come to us.
00:50:28Here.
00:50:29A little table for two.
00:50:30Thanks.
00:50:31Now, when can I get you two kids to celebrate?
00:50:34We trust you.
00:50:35Surprise us.
00:50:36Fine.
00:50:37It'll be right here.
00:50:56Hi, Candy.
00:50:58Let me caress you.
00:51:00You like it, huh?
00:51:05Come here.
00:51:18Get back there.
00:51:34Oh, Candy.
00:51:36Ah!
00:52:03Here you are.
00:52:05Thank you.
00:52:30Jerry, tell me.
00:52:31How about dancing?
00:52:33Why not?
00:52:34Crazy.
00:53:04What?
00:53:05What?
00:53:06What?

00:53:42What?
00:53:43What?
00:53:53Stop the music.
00:53:56Stop the music.
00:53:59Please go back to your seats.
00:54:03it. But tonight they're making the first public appearance in Hong Kong. For your
00:54:10pleasure, my pleasure, and they're all the Kim sisters.
00:57:33Are you sure you're all right? Don't be silly. This is where I live. I'd take you home with
00:57:43me, but it seems there's something wrong. I didn't understand the message, but I have
00:57:47to get back to Judas as soon as possible. I understand. Good night, Eva. Good night.
00:57:54See you tomorrow. Night.
00:58:24What happened? Is she dead? No, she's fainted. She must have had a very severe shock.
00:58:35It was probably one of your snakes, Judas. Everything's secure. They couldn't have gotten out.
00:58:47Hello? Give me the casualty board. This is Dr. Montes. I want you to send an ambulance right away.
00:58:55The address? Mid-level mansions at the penthouse. Mid-level mansions. Carmichael's the name.
00:59:01I'll need antitoxin shots. 3-1-4-0-2-A. Right. Goodbye. Poor kid.
00:59:31Everything's arranged. Judas has nothing to worry about. And you? Don't worry. She'll be
00:59:49all right. Dr. Montes says she'll be completely recovered in a few days. How did it happen?
01:00:00I can't imagine I arrived immediately after. I've been invited to Singapore for the weekend.
01:00:07Convention of zoologists. I think I may go. And I'll be away in Tokyo. Oh. Eva, do you
01:00:26think that you could look after our friends? After all, you know more about them than anybody
01:00:31else. And I trust you. Of course, Judas. They'll be safe with me. You will take good care of
01:00:41them, won't you? I will. Judas, please. I was only trying to relax you. I'm not a snake.
01:00:56I'm not a snake. I'm not a snake. I'm not a snake. I'm not a snake. I'm not a snake. I'm
01:01:11not a snake. Let's go to my place. And what will Jules and Judas say? They're both away.
01:01:38I've given the servants a weekend off. We'll be all alone. I don't understand why you're
01:01:44not frightened to be there with those horrible animals. They don't frighten me. There must
01:01:52be a reason why you're so brave. I'm not brave. Life has taught me not to be afraid of what
01:01:58many people consider frightening. That's all. But let's not talk about that today. So that's
01:02:08what my work is like. There's no money in it, no salary of any kind. But there's great
01:02:13satisfaction, a sense of doing something to help other people. What more could anyone
01:02:17want? Compared to you, I'm totally useless. My work doesn't benefit anybody. Just cheap
01:02:24drills for tired businessmen. I was glad to give it up and move in with Judas. In a strange
01:02:30way, I love him. I never knew my father. He must have sent money to my mother because
01:02:40she didn't work. But when I was 12, she left me with an old lady who lived near us and
01:02:46went off with a man. I never heard from her again. The old lady's the one who taught me
01:02:53how to handle snakes. She had danced with them when she was young and had developed
01:02:59a fondness for them. I started dancing when I was 13. I was more afraid of the people
01:03:04watching than the snakes. When I was 14, the old lady died and I was on my own. It was
01:03:09a lousy existence. I can hardly remember what it was like being a virgin. A kid that age,
01:03:15no one to keep an eye on her. But I learned. It was pretty awful, but I finally got a break
01:03:22and I began to dance in some better places. Of course, there have been times when I've
01:03:27given myself for money, but no man has owned me. He may afford me my company for a night,
01:03:35but nothing more. But what about Judas? It's different with Judas. Somehow, it's all right.
01:04:23Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
01:04:31oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
01:04:39oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
01:04:47oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,
01:04:59oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh,

01:09:37H ruining
01:09:48I never had such delicious food.
01:10:03Where did you learn to cook?
01:10:04I learned from a friend of mine who owns a restaurant.
01:10:07I was in love with her.
01:10:09But now it's all over.
01:10:25Just leave everything here.
01:10:27Tomorrow the servants will clean up.
01:10:34I'll take care of it.
01:11:04I'll take care of it.
01:11:34I'll take care of it.
01:12:04I'll take care of it.
01:12:34What happened, Jerry?
01:12:36I don't know.
01:12:37I have the impression that something is moving in the room.
01:12:41Don't be silly.
01:12:43Look.
01:12:58Jerry.
01:13:01Jerry.
01:13:05Don't move.
01:13:10Don't let him feel that you're afraid.
01:13:17Don't move.
01:13:21Stop it.
01:13:24You fool.
01:13:27Jerry.
01:13:30Jerry.
01:14:01Jerry.
01:14:16There's nothing anyone can do.
01:14:18A mamba's poison is deadly.
01:14:20Where's the snake? What happened to it?
01:14:23I put it back in the cage.
01:14:25You did? Weren't you afraid of it?
01:14:27No, I'm not afraid.
01:14:30I can't imagine how it managed to get free.
01:14:33Judas and Jules went away on business and left me to take care of the snakes.
01:14:37Tonight I opened the cages to feed them, but I'm sure I closed them with care.
01:14:42But when I put the mamba back, the cage was open.
01:14:45Open? But how?
01:14:47Who could possibly have done that if there was nobody else at home?
01:14:50I don't know. The cage was open.
01:14:53I've got to file a report to the police.
01:14:56Fortunately, I'm a good friend of the inspector.
01:14:59He won't make any difficulty.
01:15:01The death of the poor girl was accidental.
01:15:04Besides, as I understand it, she must have been all alone.
01:15:19Yes, she was alone.
01:15:57I brought you here because I thought it might be an appropriate place to say goodbye.
01:16:02Goodbye? I don't understand.
01:16:06Jules has been talking to me.
01:16:08Explained about how you want to be together.
01:16:14I don't understand.
01:16:16I don't understand.
01:16:18I don't understand.
01:16:20I don't understand.
01:16:22I don't understand.
01:16:25Judas, I didn't want you to hear it from him.
01:16:29What difference does that make?
01:16:33He tells me you're planning a trip.
01:16:36I'm afraid it was my idea.
01:16:38Just an excuse to...
01:16:40To leave?
01:16:44I told you from the beginning you were free to leave whenever you wanted to.
01:16:49It appears you want to now.
01:16:53I'm sorry.
01:16:55I've told Jules he can take off as much time as he wants.
01:17:00The trip is a present from me, kind of a parting gift.
01:17:05Thank you.
01:17:13Have you made your plans?
01:17:15Yes. I've picked out the places I want to visit.
01:17:18Most of all, I'd like to go home.
01:17:20To the island where I was born.
01:17:26What did you expect to find there?
01:17:29I'm not quite sure.
01:17:36And Jules?
01:17:40What are your plans for him?
01:17:44I don't know.
01:17:46That's my secret.
01:18:16I love you.
01:18:46I love you.
01:19:16I love you.
01:19:46That's enough for now, Feng.
01:19:48Yes, madam.
01:19:56He's far too talented to waste his time at a hotel like this.
01:20:00He should come back with us to Hong Kong.
01:20:03Don't you agree, Jules?
01:20:07I don't know. You may be right, but...
01:20:10I don't know.
01:20:13I don't know. You may be right, but...
01:20:16perhaps Feng is happier here.
01:20:19You sound suspicious.
01:20:21There's nothing to worry about.
01:20:25And Jules, remember what Judith said.
01:20:27I was to have anything I wanted.
01:20:33I haven't forgotten, Eva.
01:20:35You know you can have anything you want.
01:20:42You know you can have anything you want.
01:20:57Jules.
01:20:59Feng has come up with a simply wonderful idea.
01:21:02Really?
01:21:03He and his brother own a little hut on one of the outlying islands...
01:21:06near the village where they were born.
01:21:09The sort of place that tourists never visit.
01:21:12I see.
01:21:14His people are fishermen.
01:21:17He's invited us to spend the weekend there, completely isolated.
01:21:21Don't you think it's a great idea?
01:21:23It would do us a great honor.
01:21:26How do we get there?
01:21:28My brother has a land rover.
01:21:30It isn't very large, but it will get us to the dock.
01:21:33We finish the journey by boat.
01:21:36Please, Jules.
01:21:38Remember your promise to Judith.
01:21:40Anything I want.
01:21:42Do you really want to sleep on the floor of a fisherman's hut?
01:21:46Why not?
01:21:48It isn't very different from the place where I was born.
01:21:53In a way, it's like going back to one's own beginning.
01:21:57I find it romantic.
01:22:00Hmm.
01:22:02Hmm.
01:22:04Okay, Eva.
01:22:09When do we leave?
01:22:11Tomorrow.
01:22:13We can get to the island in a day.
01:22:29We can get to the island in a day.
01:22:59We can get to the island in a day.
01:23:29Hey!
01:23:56Hey!
01:23:59Hey!
01:24:29Isn't it wonderful?
01:24:31Mm-hmm.
01:24:33Thank you, Jules, for bringing me here.
01:24:36You don't know how much it means to me.
01:24:39Well...
01:24:43I hope tomorrow's going to be better.
01:24:51I'm sorry.
01:24:53I'm sorry.
01:24:55I'm sorry.

01:28:37I'm sorry.
01:28:39I'm sorry.
01:28:41I'm sorry.
01:28:43I'm sorry.
01:28:45I'm sorry.
01:28:47When introduced into the body of a living human,
01:28:50It eats its way out,
01:28:54because it has an inbred desire to get free.
01:28:58What are you talking about Eva?
01:29:01Oh God!
01:29:03What do you mean?
01:29:05On the island, where I was born,
01:29:08they have an ancient custom
01:29:10for dealing with liars and murderers.
01:29:12You're the murderer!
01:29:14You killed Jerry and now you're going to die by a method called putting the devil into a man to set him free.
01:29:23This is the devil.
01:29:25And you're the man.
01:29:27You're mad.
01:29:30I'll rid you of evil and all bad.
01:29:34No, you're mad.
01:29:36Let me out of here.
01:29:37Let me go.
01:29:39It was just a game.
01:29:41I didn't want to kill her.
01:29:43I swear I didn't, Eva.
01:29:45I was just doing it for kicks.
01:29:47I didn't know she was going to die.
01:29:49Honest, I didn't.
01:29:52It's too late.
01:29:54Jules, there's a devil inside you.
01:29:58And now we're going to let it be free.
01:30:00No, please.
01:30:01I'll do anything you want.
01:30:02But don't do this to me, Eva.
01:30:07No.
01:30:08No.
01:30:13No.
01:30:43No.
01:31:13Eva?
01:31:16Come here.
01:31:19Slowly.
01:31:25He sent it me again?
01:31:28No, this time I did.
01:31:32Why did you come back?
01:31:35Did you receive my telegram?
01:31:37Yes.
01:31:38Jules was your brother.
01:31:41And I thought you should know how he died and why.
01:31:45And that you killed him.
01:31:47And how.
01:31:49He deserved to die.
01:31:51When we first met,
01:31:54I told you that I admired courage.
01:31:59Courage and cruelty aren't the same thing.
01:32:01You've changed.
01:32:03I think you enjoyed watching Jules die.
01:32:07Perhaps you're right.
01:32:09I did.
01:32:10He once accused me of treating him as part of my collection.
01:32:15Well, it's true, for a time they were my only friends.
01:32:19Then I met you and...
01:32:23For a while it seemed as if my life began anew.
01:32:27Then you went away, that ended.
01:32:32Now you've come back.
01:32:34Why?
01:32:36What did you expect to find?
01:32:40Jules, it's hard to explain.
01:32:44But I thought it could be the same again.
01:32:49I'm sorry.
01:32:55It's over.
01:33:05Goodbye.
01:33:12Where will you go?
01:33:16Perhaps to the same club.
01:33:19They still want me there.
01:33:24Emma.
01:33:29Oh, Judas, let me borrow the green mamba.
01:33:32It's so beautiful.
01:33:33It will make my dance more exciting.
01:33:35Of course not, don't be silly.
01:33:36Please, Judas.
01:33:37Eva, don't be silly.
01:33:38Please.
01:33:41Don't.
01:33:43Eva, don't.
01:34:03Eva.
01:34:05You know what you're risking.
01:34:11Be careful.
01:34:18Don't get him too excited.
01:34:32He can kill you in a second if he wants.
01:35:02THE END
01:35:32THE END
01:35:48Emergency?
01:35:51I want to talk to Dr. Montez.
01:35:53It's very important.
01:35:59Yes, of course.
01:36:02Yes, I'll wait.
