02:27 >> Hi, Mandana.
02:28 >> Hi.
02:29 >> Congratulations and happy Women's Day.
02:31 >> Thank you.
02:32 >> Thank you so much.
02:33 >> Your hashtag, I am more than my marriage.
02:35 >> Yes.
02:36 >> [FOREIGN] And what is your thought on that?
02:38 >> Sure.
02:39 Hi, everyone.
02:40 First thing that happy Women's Day to you as well.
02:42 And so basically I'm starting a YouTube channel from today onward.
02:48 And we make small videos and in the videos we talk about marriage.
02:53 And basically we talk about I am more than my marriage.
02:57 That means when you get married or maybe you're not even married, right?
03:04 It doesn't define who you are.
03:06 It doesn't define your individuality.
03:08 And so basically it talks about marriage, yeah.
03:11 And today we have a few amazing women which they're going to talk about marriage
03:16 and women empowerment and Women's Day.
03:19 Well, we don't need a day to celebrate women,
03:22 but we've just used the opportunity today to just talk about Women's Day.
03:27 >> Talking about your personal life, you have TV crisis.
03:32 So is there going to be like an experience?
03:35 [FOREIGN]
03:43 >> Yes, of course, because I had many days for past nine months that I was feeling really low.
03:52 I thought that my life is over and I'm going to start again from over.
03:58 Because when you decide to get married,
04:01 you never think that such a horrible thing can happen to you.
04:05 But then you kind of figure out your life.
04:09 You have to be strong.
04:11 You have to start over again.
04:13 And I would love to share my experience with all the other girls
04:17 and that it doesn't really matter if you've gone through something so drastic and so horrible in your life.
04:26 You kind of pick up the pieces and as a woman, as all of you are,
04:31 we are really strong and we're going to start over again.
04:35 And yes, I want to share my experience with my fans and with all the other girls there.
04:41 Yeah.
04:42 >> Okay. How have you built up your whole fitness with the help of Reset?
04:47 Because I think it's a collaboration.
04:48 >> Yes, yes.
04:49 >> So tell us something. You know, how have you done that?
04:52 >> Well, Reset is very close to my house and it's one of those amazing places that, you know,
04:59 they've got the outdoor area, they've got the yoga classes and they've got the dance studio.
05:04 They've got the, you know, whole really nice set of weight training.
05:08 So I'm really enjoying working out here and I'm really blessed to have my old trainer as well in this gym.
05:15 And yeah, it's a lovely place.
05:17 As you say, also today I have my event as well in this location and it's gorgeous.
05:23 >> We are starting off with some self-defense course for the women.
05:28 >> Yeah.
05:29 >> Reset is coming up with it.
05:30 >> Yeah.
05:31 >> Especially for women's day.
05:32 >> Yeah.
05:33 >> [Foreign language]
05:35 >> So as all of you guys know, I'm playing a lot of football and I do own a company now
05:43 which we are providing sports for the Islam kids.
05:46 So my girls team, they're going to be having their first class here in Reset.
05:52 And yes, it's a self-defense for girls and yes, we're going to start it from this week onward.
05:58 >> [Foreign language]
06:04 >> I don't know if it should be a must or not, but what I believe is that we need to start thinking about it
06:12 in a different way that our kids, they need the X factor.
06:15 Not everyone has to be a doctor or an engineer.
06:18 You don't have to become a doctor or an engineer and you're going to be happy.
06:21 You know, you need that X factor.
06:23 And I feel like through sports, you can teach the children a lot, especially for our girls.
06:29 Because to be honest, for me, in my own experience, when I had these really low days,
06:37 playing sports and playing football, it helped me a lot to get back to work
06:43 and to kind of, you know, stay strong.
06:47 So I think, yes, I strongly believe not only martial art, not only judo, not only football.
06:53 I think sports is really important and it should be part of our young generation.
06:59 >> What's next?
07:01 >> [Foreign language]
07:04 >> Are you planning something on television again?
07:07 >> Yeah, so I just finished shooting a feature film around a month ago
07:13 and I'm looking really forward for the announcement of the film.
07:17 And yes, so a movie.
07:19 >> [Foreign language]
07:21 >> I was working with Rahul Bose and Tisca Chopra.
07:25 They are my co-stars and yes.
07:28 >> [Foreign language]
07:32 >> See, whenever I'm looking for icons or ideal women, there are too many of them around us.
07:38 You know, from my mate, from the NGO that I work, from the women who are part of that NGO.
07:44 >> Who was the most influential?
07:46 >> The most influential? I think all the strong women.
07:48 All the strong women who have amazing stories that, you know, in one point of their life,
07:55 they thought their life is over, they had nothing to look forward, they lost their family,
08:00 they lost everything, they lost money, they lost jobs.
08:03 So I think all the women who are--basically you can pick expression like every day from around you.
08:11 >> So according to you, do you feel there is a woman empowerment?
08:15 >> If there is any? I don't know if there is any, but I think what I can say is that time is changing.
08:24 You know, a lot of--I mean, look around maybe like five years ago or ten years ago,
08:30 women, they didn't have any voice.
08:32 But now we have, you know, the first woman who goes to the moon, the first woman that--you know, there are a lot of girls.
08:38 There's a lot of good work is happening.
08:41 There are a lot of strong women are, you know, coming up and talking about everything basically.
08:47 Yeah.
08:49 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
09:02 >> It's really sad.
09:04 It's always really heartbreaking to lose an artist, someone like her,
09:09 because I believe they're not going to be anyone like her anymore.
09:15 It's really sad.
09:17 And what is even more sad than her daughter, she just turned 21.
09:22 But I'm sure she's really proud of her mother, and I'm sure she's celebrating her mother today.
09:28 So God bless her.
09:30 >> So on this Women's Day occasion, do you want to flourish any of the message for her?
09:35 >> For who?
09:36 >> For Sri Devi.
09:38 >> I'm not really good with all this, but I'm sure she's in a better place,
09:43 and I'm sure she's from heaven, she's looking at her daughter,
09:48 and, you know, very soon also she's going to be part of movie industry,
09:52 and I'm sure she's going to be really proud of her daughter.
09:54 >> Thank you so much.
09:55 >> Thank you so much.
09:56 Thank you.
10:01 >> Begin?
10:02 >> Yeah, sure.
10:03 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
10:07 >> It's Women's Day.
10:08 Don't trouble her too much.
10:09 >> Yeah, thank you.
10:10 >> At least for one day, no?
10:12 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
10:14 >> Hi, everyone.
10:15 [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
10:16 >> Happy Women's Day.
10:17 >> Thank you.
10:18 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
10:22 >> And holistic living, you're trying to promote that for women.
10:26 So how important is it for women to have a balanced, holistic living?
10:32 >> I think women, to achieve success in life,
10:34 they have to have a foundation of great health.
10:37 Today, health has become mainly about women and men dieting
10:41 and doing these fat exercise programs.
10:43 In holistic health, we like to focus on balanced nutrition,
10:46 the right amount of exercise for their body type,
10:49 good quality sleep, and emotional detoxification.
10:53 Because women are successful today, but the amount of stress--
10:56 I'm into integrative medicine, and most women who have problems come to me,
11:00 the root cause is emotional stress, which is brought about by relationships
11:04 that they're not happy being in, and so many different things.
11:06 So I think the important thing is when you holistically have an approach
11:09 towards health, you look at all of these four paradigms,
11:12 and I believe that a lot of diseases that women have today can be prevented
11:16 if they focus on holistic living and holistic health.
11:19 >> Absolutely, absolutely.
11:20 [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
11:27 >> I am more than my marriage.
11:28 >> I'm more than my marriage, I'm sorry.
11:30 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
11:36 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
11:43 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
11:53 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
12:00 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
12:06 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
12:12 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
12:18 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
12:24 >> I'm happy to talk about that.
12:30 >> Well, today I'm launching my YouTube channel, as I told you before,
12:34 and I'm going to be talking about marriage and basically just women in general, right?
12:44 The unfortunate thing in our society, if you are not married, you are not successful.
12:50 And you will see the video today. It's actually this hashtag, #I'mMoreThanMyMarriage,
12:55 and I have spoken about my personal experience and how you can be actually a strong woman
13:03 and you can pick the pieces and just start over again.
13:08 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
13:11 >> To celebrate, of course, womanhood and also to help women,
13:15 who need healthy living or harassment or even picking up the pieces if you have a broken marriage.
13:22 >> [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
13:31 >> I think inspiration of women is women themselves.
13:35 All around us, you look, you know, and I don't think it's as much about man versus women.
13:40 I think we have to celebrate people, and we have to celebrate people who are successful,
13:45 even in small measures, everyday life.
13:47 A teacher may be, you know, someone we'd want to celebrate.
13:50 You know, our house help is someone we want to celebrate.
13:52 So I think it has to be more about celebrating each other as people.
13:56 That's what I would say.
13:57 >> If there's need of one law,
14:00 [SPEAKING IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE]
14:10 >> If there's something like that you want to talk about.
14:12 >> I think I should just address that because I work with the Indian police across the country.
14:19 I don't think that there's no paucity of laws,
14:23 and the IPC and the IT Act together are quite sufficient to cover every crime.
14:31 I think what we really need is a few speedy trials and making examples of those judgments.
14:37 That's all we need.
14:39 But, you know, our police officers are very capable, and they're catching up.
14:42 Nobody can get away.
14:44 >> Thank you so much, Amayi.
14:45 >> Thank you.
14:46 >> Thank you.
14:47 >> Thank you.
14:48 >> Thanks.
14:49 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
14:57 >> Girls, just come this way a little bit.
15:00 Shushma, keep the ball with you.
15:03 One knee up, right?
15:05 How we sit at the team?
15:06 We don't sit like that at the team.
15:08 One knee up, right?
15:10 Right.
15:11 >> Madam, ball is two down.
15:13 Either you hold or...
15:16 >> Hold it, Shushma.
15:17 >> Yeah, there.
15:19 >> Too much distance between the ball and the leg.
15:21 >> Ready?
15:22 >> Okay.
15:23 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
15:27 >> Now we do only the thing.
15:29 >> One more.
15:30 Can you continue?
15:31 >> What's in there, you guys?
15:36 >> Madam, it is two pose.
15:38 >> Huh?
15:39 >> The photograph is two posing.
15:41 >> This is the football pose.
15:43 >> Yeah, I know.
15:44 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
15:48 >> Right here.
15:50 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
15:53 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
15:56 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
16:00 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
16:28 >> Hi, Sahil.
16:29 >> Hi.
16:30 [INDISTINCT CONVERSATION]
16:32 >> You know, when I was coming here,
16:34 I was making these stories on my Instagram
16:36 that women, firstly, I think every day is women's day.
16:39 Every day is women's day.
16:41 I don't know why we gave this special day today.
16:43 >> Officially.
16:44 >> Officially?
16:45 But I think the whole year is women's day.
16:47 I think if women weren't there,
16:49 this planet would definitely mean nothing.
16:51 And I genuinely, genuinely think
16:53 that there is so much bias towards women.
16:55 I mean, I would rather say, like,
16:57 women are not treated equally.
16:59 So gender equality is something we should definitely look for
17:02 because men and women are equal.
17:04 And one thing that really bothers me is--
17:06 me, not personally, obviously,
17:08 because I don't have to go through it,
17:10 but I see it happening around me with my friends and my family.
17:13 There are so many tags that women are given
17:15 that by this age you have to do this, then you have to do that,
17:18 you have to behave like this, behave like that.
17:20 Please don't do that.
17:21 Live your life on your own terms.
17:23 Be whatever you want to be, just like the men.
17:25 We are all the same.
17:26 This is officially your day, but the entire year is yours.
17:29 Let's just put it that way.
17:30 What's next coming up?
17:32 What projects are you working on?
17:33 I have--so I'm doing something with Nikhil Advani next.
17:36 But we'll talk about it in detail
17:39 when officially we can give out the details.
17:41 But yeah, we'll start very soon.
17:43 So how are you celebrating women's day?
17:45 I'm celebrating women's day with you guys, yeah?
17:48 Like, it's so special.
17:50 It's such a beautiful place, terrace, Bombay view.
17:53 And of course, that's how I'm celebrating women's day.
17:56 And I wish my mom--in fact, I didn't call her till 9 a.m.
17:59 She called me, she's like, "Do you know it's women's day?"
18:02 So I think I goofed up there.
18:04 So next time I'll be better.
18:06 Thank you so much for talking to me.
18:07 Thank you, thank you. Pleasure.
