Sheffield Wednesday's Liam Palmer raising money for PACT
Transcript
00:00 Yeah, really good. Just come off finishing the 5k. So part of my running club and charity with
00:04 Combine the Two. Really good turnout. Everybody's happy. I think we just had enough medals, so
00:10 just about. But no, just coming together, get moving and raise money and earn awareness for
00:16 Pat. We went to the charity ball, the dinner last night, and a lot of people spoke around
00:21 their experience with the charity and it just drummed it home again how kind of vital work
00:25 they do. Even though they are a small charity, they do make a big impact in people's lives when
00:29 they most need it. So for me to get involved, I'm thankful to Aaron really for asking me.
00:34 They said there's no obligation to fundraise, but you can't not when you speak to people and
00:40 you see the work they do. So yeah, first running event properly, really good.
00:46 So yeah, hopefully bigger and better next year. A lot of people say, what other events do you do?
00:51 But this is kind of just me putting something together. This park's really good. It's all
00:55 enclosed. Nobody can get lost. Well-marshaled event as well. Running past the Old Broadbuster
01:00 helps. So it's nice. Nice turnout. Plenty of selfies, plenty of smiles. And yeah, really good day.
