00:00 (The bill is signed.)
00:15 There is no gag order to Michael Cohen.
00:17 What the judge did was amazing, actually.
00:20 Was amazing.
00:21 Everybody can say whatever they want.
00:24 They can say whatever they want,
00:26 but I'm not allowed to say anything about anybody.
00:30 It's a disgrace.
00:31 And you see it. The media sees it.
00:33 And it's really very sad.
00:35 If you look at the legal experts and the legal scholars,
00:39 every one of them say this trial is a scam.
00:41 They say it's something that should have never happened.
00:44 By the way, it could have happened seven years ago.
00:47 They bring it right during the election.
00:49 Nobody sees that. Nobody talks about it.
00:51 This should have been seven years ago.
00:53 It shouldn't have been brought.
00:55 But if it was going to be brought,
00:56 it should have been brought seven years ago.
00:59 And, you know, we're talking about 2016.
01:01 We're talking about something goes back to charge of 2006.
01:06 Think of it. We're talking about 2016.
01:10 We're taking — talking about a charge
01:11 that's 18 or 19 years old. It's all fake.
01:15 The whole case is fake. The judge is corrupt.
01:18 And the only thing he gives us is to make him
01:21 look a little bit good. He gives us nothing.
01:23 And what he just did now is a joke.
01:27 It's a disgrace. It's a disgrace.
01:30 So I just want to mention right here,
01:35 Biden made a claim that inflation under Trump was 9 percent.
01:38 When it wasn't, it was a tiny fraction.
01:41 It was 1.4 percent and actually going down.
01:44 We had essentially almost no inflation.
01:47 But we had 9 percent inflation, and that's a fake number
01:51 because not everything was included with Biden.
01:55 And if you add it all up, I think it's a 50 percent
01:58 inflation tax. I call it the "Biden Inflation Tax."
02:01 So he lies. And he lies about everything,
02:03 including his golf game,
02:05 because he can't hit a ball — he can't hit a ball 100 yards.
02:08 Lies about everything. But he came out —
02:13 I saw that this last couple of days.
02:16 He was talking about the Trump inflation was 9 —
02:18 no, his inflation was 9 percent.
02:20 That's a tax on the American people
02:24 due to gross incompetence.
02:26 And it was all started because of his energy policies,
02:28 his stupid green-nuclear energy policies.
02:31 And you wait and see. If we don't win this nation —
02:36 this nation is finished — you wait and you see what would happen,
02:39 because all of that stuff will be closed up.
02:42 He let a lot of my energy policies go through
02:46 because energy was starting under his —
02:48 what they were doing — starting to go up so high.
02:50 So he let a lot of them continue,
02:54 including the drilling,
02:55 because the prices were going so high for gasoline and energy.
03:00 And now he comes out and he actually says —
03:03 I guess with a straight face,
03:05 but I'm not sure he knows what he's saying anyway —
03:08 that it was 9 percent under Trump.
03:10 So, at least the New York Post
03:12 and I hear the Wall Street Journal
03:14 and a couple of others did correct it.
03:16 No, it was — 1.4 was actually lower than that.
03:19 We included everything. They didn't include everything.
03:23 They took some of the worst categories
03:25 and didn't include them in the 9 percent.
03:27 So his 9 percent is actually much higher than that.
03:31 But it's a tax over a four-year period of more than 50 percent.
03:37 And I call it the inflation tax, the Biden inflation —
03:40 inflation tax. Now, here's another one
03:43 that just came out — Axios. No friend of mine.
03:46 They say that Biden's big donors fume over Israel criticism.
03:52 Biden's donors are the ones that are against Israel.
03:58 So, somehow, maybe those people —
04:02 Jewish people that vote for Democrats or vote for Biden,
04:08 if they look at what they're doing —
04:10 the donors to Biden are against Israel,
04:13 very much and vehemently against Israel.
04:16 They hate Israel. And that's why Biden hates Israel,
04:20 because he goes with his donors.
04:22 And he always has. So they ought to start thinking about that.
04:25 And now you have the lawfare implosion.
04:30 This is the Wall Street Journal.
04:32 Kim Strassel, who's a great reporter,
04:35 they ought to read this story,
04:37 because it talks about what's going on here.
04:39 What's going on here is a disgrace.
04:41 Jonathan Turley just came out.
04:43 This case is becoming legally obscene.
04:48 It's — I mean, the articles are unbelievable.
04:53 And I'd hand you the articles,
04:54 but the problem is I'm not allowed to,
04:56 because if anything is mentioned against certain people —
05:00 and you know who they are — certain people,
05:02 anything is even mentioned, he wants to put me in jail.
05:06 And that could happen one day,
05:08 and I'd be very proud to go to jail for our Constitution,
05:12 because what he's doing is so unconstitutional.
05:15 There's never been anything like it.
05:17 These are story after story right here.
05:21 Look at this. One after another.
05:23 And this is over the last two days.
05:25 Story after story. Hannity — big story.
05:30 They're all big. Dershowitz, Jonathan Turley,
05:33 Andrew McCarthy, Rick Jarrett. They've all been amazing.
05:40 They're not friends. Nobody's friends.
05:44 They're writing stories. They've never seen anything like that.
05:47 They've never seen anything like —
05:49 what's going on today in this court
05:51 is a very dark day for New York City, New York State,
05:56 and it's a very dark day for our nation.
05:59 And in the meantime, I can't be out campaigning.
06:01 They could have brought it, I told you, seven years ago.
06:04 They could have brought it if they were going to bring it.
06:06 Remember, everybody turned it down.
06:08 Southern District turned it down.
06:11 Washington turned it down.
06:12 The Federal Election Commission turned it down.
06:16 And you know who else turned it down?
06:18 Cy Vance turned it down. Everybody turned it down.
06:22 And then Bray came in and he turned it down.
06:25 And he got very angry, actually,
06:27 because a man named Pomerantz came out.
06:30 And what's happening with Pomerantz is the —
06:34 are the papers looking into that deal?
06:35 But he got himself into a jam.
06:39 And so what happened is Bray turned it down.
06:42 And then when the election comes along, he said,
06:45 "Well, let's go." But it's not a case that's been turned down.
06:48 Remember this. It's a federal case.
06:51 They all turned it down.
06:53 And he's bringing it into the state — or the city, I guess.
06:56 Look, he's a district attorney where crime is rampant.
06:59 Violent crime is all over the place.
07:01 The city is going to hell.
07:03 And they have many prosecutors in there.
07:06 I couldn't even count them. I looked — I looked to me like —
07:09 they had — certainly, they have had more than 20 prosecutors
07:13 sitting there over the fact that somebody paid a lawyer.
07:18 And in paying the lawyer — so it was a legal expense —
07:23 that somebody — happened to be me.
07:25 I didn't do the bookkeeping. I didn't even know about it.
07:27 But a very good bookkeeper marked a legal expense
07:32 down as a legal expense.
07:33 They didn't call it construction.
07:37 They didn't call it building something,
07:39 or concrete, or electrical costs.
07:43 They called, very simply, a legal expense to a lawyer
07:47 who's a lawyer —
07:49 not a fixer, who's a lawyer.
07:51 Legal expense to a lawyer. They called it legal expense.
07:55 They said it was marked incorrectly.
08:00 What else would you call it?
08:02 It's a legal fee or a legal expense,
08:04 or we called it a legal expense.
08:06 This is what the case is about.
08:07 And it's not about all of the other stuff
08:11 that you've been seeing.
08:12 Because we're using that to attempt —
08:15 it's had no impact because it's so old —
08:18 attempt to do something to me politically.
08:23 But the good news is the people understand
08:27 that our poll numbers are the highest they've ever been.
08:30 And it's ridiculous that I'm not going to be out campaigning
08:33 for another week or two as these thugs —
08:36 these corrupt thugs. And that includes the judge.
08:41 He should throw this case out. This case should go no further.
08:44 Every legal expert — the ones I named and many more —
08:48 Caleb Reese, another one — many of them —
08:52 they came out and they said,
08:55 "This case should not go forward. It's not a case.
08:58 There's no crime. There is no crime."
09:01 And they failed to show it for us.
09:02 This is election interference. It all comes out of Washington.
09:08 They have their reps here.
09:10 You know they have their reps here, haven't you?
09:12 You know that.
09:13 But this all comes out of Washington.
09:15 It's to damage crooked Joe Biden's political opponent —
09:20 happens to be me.
09:22 And we're leading big in the polls,
09:24 and the American people get it. It's a scam.
09:27 So, tomorrow, we're doing a big rally,
09:31 and it's going to be in Wildwood, New Jersey.
09:33 We're going to the state of New Jersey.
09:35 We think we can win New Jersey.
09:37 And we think we can win a lot
09:39 because what's happening in our country is horrible —
09:42 between inflation and the horrible economy.
09:46 And the only reason, by the way, the stock market goes up
09:49 is that I'm leading in all the polls.
09:51 If I weren't leading, the stock market would be way down.
09:55 But I'm leading, and based on the fact that I'm leading,
09:57 the stock market is up.
09:59 And if I didn't win, you would have a crash like 1929.
10:05 Mark my words. I can write about everything.
10:09 If I didn't win, you would have a crash like the crash of 1929
10:15 because the people that are running our government right now
10:19 are corrupt and incompetent.
10:21 Thank you very much, everybody.
10:23 -Mr. President, are you going to testify next week?
