00:00How you doing Jess? Good thank you, how are you? I'm good thank you and we just, the Shropshire Star have come here to check out what's going on, there's a lot of activity down at the Castle here in Ludlow, what's happening? When's it happening?
00:12So we kick off at 3pm today, 3pm to 9 o'clock today and we are open in the Outer Bailey, so we've got our big festival pub with over 200 beers, as well as our live music, which is very cool.
00:25We also have our comedy starting tonight at 6 o'clock in our Torks and Tipples tent which is just behind me actually and Panic Circus will be open for a couple of hours too tonight.
00:34Fantastic, you're a Shropshire girl originally? Yes. Nice to be back here in the county, although you are grafting. Do you get time to enjoy the festival yourself?
00:45If time allows maybe, once everyone's gone out of the castle then yes.
00:50And looking at the weather forecast, today and tomorrow certainly is what you'd want isn't it? Yes, it's glorious.
00:56We won't talk about the forecast for Sunday at the minute. Well it's my birthday on Sunday so I'm hoping it sticks out to be sunny then.
01:01Yeah, fingers crossed. So it's the Spring Fest, so like you say we've got comedy, we've got music, plenty of food stalls.
01:08I can see tacos, ice cream vans, that kind of vibe. We've got beefy boys, pizza girls. Ah, very popular beefy boys.
01:14So we're going on, we've got tonight, this afternoon and this evening and then tomorrow all day?
01:21Yep, tomorrow 10am to 9pm, 10am to 5pm our exhibitors are open and we've got cars as well in the Castle Gardens just to my left.
01:29And then for the rest of the evening the Outer Bailey's open with our festival pub, live music, comedy and vendors.
01:36Sounds good. It's really coming to life isn't it Ludlow, especially in the Castle grounds here with the concerts and stuff.
01:42It seems to be putting itself on a destination kind of map. How long have you been involved in the Spring Festival then?
01:48Only a year, this is only my second Spring Festival. So obviously last year we did it at the Rugby Club so this is my first year doing it at the Castle.
01:54It's all the same really, but it's nice to be back at the Castle. Well it's a fantastic backdrop isn't it? Yes, it's beautiful.
02:01Right, well hopefully you might get a chance to have a tipple on Sunday for your birthday, but thank you Jess. Thank you.
