Speedway: Sheffield leave it late to beat Belle Vue in KO Cup

00:00Sheffield knocked Bellevue out of the Speedway Knockout Cup this evening in the most dramatic

00:07fashion. In a meeting that went to a superheat, Tigers had looked dead and buried with the score

00:13at 36-36 after heat 12, but it took a late turnaround that transformed the meeting. Bellevue

00:22had an eight-point lead from the first leg and they played their tactics very well. While Sheffield

00:30took many heat wins, the Aces consistently formed a barrier to stop the Tigers making it into 4-2's

00:38or 5-1's. The result was a lot of drawn heats which looked like it may be enough for the Aces.

00:46After heat 12 the scores were level but two 4-2 heat advantages in heats 13 and 14 left Tigers

00:58needing a 5-1 in heat 15 to force a superheat and a fantastic display by Ty Waffenden and Jack Holder,

01:06team riding to keep Dan Gouley into third place, forced that superheat and the superheat itself
