Transcript
00:00 32 year old Englishman Kieran Wilson defeated Welsh qualifier Jack Jones at the Crucible
00:08 to win his first World Snooker Championship title.
00:13 Wilson won the match by 18 frames to 14, despite having been 7-0 up at one point. Jones fought
00:20 his way back into the match and heading into the final session, the score was 15-10. At
00:26 17-11 it looked to be all over, but again Jones fought on to make it 17-14. Wilson was
00:32 then finally able to complete the job by winning his 18th frame and became emotional following
00:38 his triumph, citing family sacrifices had helped get him to this position. For Jack
00:44 Jones this performance has moved him into the centre stage of the sport, but it is Kieran
00:49 Wilson who went home with the famous trophy from the Crucible in Sheffield following this
00:56 win.
