DepEd, tiniyak na mananatili ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa harap ng pagtutulak na ibalik ang dating school calendar

00:00The Department of Education assured that the quality of education in the country will remain
00:05in the face of the push to return the old school calendar.
00:09In the new Philippines now, said DepEd Assistant Secretary Francis Cesar Vingas,
00:15that DepEd, Curriculum, and Teaching Strand are being prepared
00:19the steps to ensure that all competencies will be covered,
00:24especially since it is expected that the in-person classes of students will be lowered to 160 days from the normal 180 days,
00:34which is the time when the old school calendar for the school year 2024-2025 can be returned.
00:42As of now, DepEd is considering new approaches and interventions,
00:48as well as strengthening the current activities of the agency
00:53to ensure that the quality of education of the students will not be affected.
