00:04 [speaking French]
00:06 Let's go, boys.
00:08 >> So we are back to action
00:11 as we take a look at the tail of the tape.
00:14 You see Moreno-Fendero with a slight reach advantage,
00:18 identical in terms of height,
00:19 but it's the amateur experience that is vastly different.
00:23 Moreno-Fendero with over 150 amateur fights,
00:26 bronze medalist at the most recent
00:27 World Amateur Championships.
00:29 Uzi El Bueno, a decent amateur career
00:31 on the Mexican circuit, 22 and 3.
00:35 But just 3 and 2 as a professional.
00:37 You see Moreno-Fendero described by his coach, Mark Ramsey,
00:41 as a southpaw version of Christian Imbili.
00:44 And, Morgan, right away, you see that brand of aggression.
00:48 >> Well, right away, you see the pectoral stretch marks,
00:51 which you only get from lifting big weights
00:53 and growing muscles quickly.
00:55 And if his nickname wasn't the soldier--
00:57 the nickname they told us he had on the way in,
00:59 was the Bull of Bengui, which is his parents' hometown
01:02 back in Central African Republic.
01:04 But he could also be tank.
01:05 >> The Toro de Bengui, Moreno-Fendero.
01:09 Shot there from Fendero as he brings
01:11 that right hand to the body.
01:13 >> And Fendero, he got warned in the pre-fight instructions
01:21 about how high his trunks were,
01:22 but he just seems to have very long legs and a short torso,
01:25 and that's just where his waist is.
01:29 >> Well, the other thing he has, according to Mark Ramsey,
01:31 is kind of a built-in understanding of the physicality
01:35 that you need to be a professional fighter.
01:37 He said that he had that in the amateurs,
01:39 and even more so than his results at the World Games.
01:43 It was that physicality, and you see it right now.
01:46 >> Well, absolutely, because the judges don't often give you
01:48 credit for that type of physicality in the amateurs,
01:51 but they absolutely credit you for it in the pros.
01:54 So he was maybe a little bit miscast as an amateur boxer,
01:56 but a bronze medal at Worlds is an impressive athlete.
02:00 >> Stiff jab there from Fendero.
02:02 Fendero just right in front of Bueno.
02:10 Bueno stuck on the ropes in this absolutely tiny ring,
02:15 16 by 16, the smallest you could possibly legally configure
02:19 a ring here in Quebec.
02:22 That is what we're using here tonight.
02:23 Morgan, we estimate about, what, three strides,
02:26 and you'd have your opponent against the ropes?
02:28 >> It's about that.
02:29 This is not the ring to be in if you want to move and dance,
02:32 unless you're an absolute magician,
02:33 but this is the ring that the Christian Imbueles
02:36 and Moreno Fenderos of the world prefer.
02:40 >> Smart work here from Fendero.
02:43 Kind of conceded that Bueno is stuck along the ropes,
02:46 and Fendero not rushing his work,
02:48 but just keeping Bueno trapped there,
02:50 and he rocks him with a sweeping right hook.
02:54 >> And Fendero's been loading up that right hook
02:55 and throwing it for the entirety of the first round,
02:58 and eventually it's gonna get home.
02:59 He's been getting closer and closer and closer with it.
