00:21 Ladies and gentlemen, Assalamu Alaikum.
00:23 This is Roshni Sab for you and I am your host, Shahid Masroor.
00:28 Ladies and gentlemen, a human being does two types of deeds.
00:31 Either good or bad.
00:34 Either he does deeds with reward or deeds with sin.
00:38 Then the biggest benefit of religion is that
00:42 religion has told a person that good deeds, deeds with reward,
00:47 means which one has to be rewarded, which is that,
00:50 and the one which has to be punished, which is that bad deed.
00:54 Along with distinguishing between good and bad deeds,
00:58 the benefits of good deeds that a person does in the world,
01:02 has been told to the world.
01:04 And after that, the harms of bad deeds have also been told to the world.
01:08 The people around him, his relatives, or people related to him,
01:15 or the society in which he lives,
01:18 the effects of a person's good and bad deeds on them have also been told.
01:24 Society also guides us.
01:26 The place, the region, the country where we live,
01:29 the law also tells us that good deeds have this reward,
01:33 if you do bad deeds, you will be punished.
01:36 So, whether it is the world or the hereafter,
01:38 in both cases, whether a person's deeds are good or bad,
01:43 he definitely gets a reward for good and bad deeds.
01:47 And one more thing is said, if we talk from the perspective of spirituality,
01:51 then on a person's personality, on his essence, on his inner,
01:55 that is, on the inner and outer,
01:57 spiritually, there are the effects of his good or bad deeds,
02:02 which are prominent, the good deeds,
02:05 necessarily, the good effects are prominent.
02:07 We say that light has come on the face,
02:09 there is a lot of blessing in your hands,
02:13 your step is proven blessed.
02:15 Those people who take a step for the pleasure of Allah,
02:18 do something with their hands for the pleasure of Allah,
02:21 if they say anything with their tongue,
02:23 then for the success of humanity,
02:25 and for the pleasure of Allah,
02:27 they are doing it for the betterment of the Prophet's (pbuh) Sunnah,
02:32 for the betterment of his personality.
02:35 And those who are doing evil deeds,
02:37 they are doing bad deeds,
02:39 their faces, their appearance, their style is told,
02:42 then in the society, they are treated in the same way,
02:45 and their status in the society,
02:47 their rank, their bad rank,
02:49 is also determined in the same way.
02:52 Today, to gain guidance from religion,
02:56 the topic we are discussing is sin and reward,
03:00 and this is a very important topic,
03:02 because even small children are taught this,
03:05 this is the teaching that this is a bad deed, this is a good deed,
03:08 this is a sin, this is a reward,
03:10 this is a bad deed, this is a reward,
03:12 this is the teaching that is being taught.
03:14 So, first of all, for our children, for our family,
03:17 for ourselves,
03:19 because when the act of reformation starts,
03:22 it starts with our own selves.
03:24 We should know what sin is,
03:26 what reward is, and what are its effects.
03:29 To discuss today's topic with us,
03:31 our respected Ulema who have come here,
03:35 who know you,
03:37 who are our followers,
03:39 who are our guides for Roshni Sahib,
03:42 and in this regard, I express my gratitude
03:46 that beyond the age difference,
03:49 the one who has learned even one word,
03:51 he is a teacher,
03:53 respected Mufti Muhammad Suhail Aza Amjadi Sahib.
03:56 Assalamu Alaikum.
03:57 Salam Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
03:59 MashaAllah Sahib.
04:00 The second person who has come with us,
04:02 you are a teacher, a servant, an Imam,
04:05 you come with us, you are our guide,
04:08 in terms of religious teachings,
04:10 in terms of today's topic,
04:12 in terms of sin and reward,
04:14 you will be our guide in terms of religious teachings.
04:17 Respected Allama Khurram Iqbal Rehmani Sahib.
04:20 Assalamu Alaikum.
04:21 Walaikum Assalam.
04:22 How are you?
04:23 Alhamdulillah.
04:24 MashaAllah.
04:25 Respected Mufti Muhammad Suhail Aza Amjadi Sahib,
04:28 we have heard that
04:30 the sin that a person commits,
04:34 some of them are small sins,
04:36 some are big sins.
04:38 The sins that we call the great sins or the small sins.
04:41 So, which are the great sins?
04:44 Which are the small sins?
04:46 So that a person can try to avoid those sins.
04:49 Please say it.
04:50 Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
04:51 Sallallahu alaihi wa alihi wa sahbihi wa barik wa sallim.
04:55 MashaAllah.
04:56 Thank you very much,
04:57 Kibla Shahid Masood Sahib.
04:59 It is a very important topic,
05:01 a very important question.
05:03 Because such topics are not discussed in general.
05:07 And this is the unique quality of QTV,
05:10 Alhamdulillah,
05:11 that people can improve their personal lives.
05:16 And these are fundamental things.
05:17 How can individuals improve themselves?
05:20 So, in this,
05:21 many programs are presented.
05:24 MashaAllah.
05:25 See, the question you asked,
05:27 the fundamental and the preliminary thing in this is
05:31 that generally the great sins are called the big sins
05:36 and the small sins are called the small sins.
05:39 I will come to the definition later.
05:41 But remember,
05:43 sin or badness means the disobedience of Allah.
05:47 So, whether it is a small sin or a big sin,
05:52 it is the disobedience of Allah.
05:55 So, the disobedience of Allah requires
06:00 that we have to please our Lord,
06:03 to please Him,
06:05 and not to displease Him.
06:07 So, not to displease Him, but to please Him.
06:09 So, it is not the status of small or big.
06:12 It is a sin.
06:13 Leave the small, leave the big,
06:15 it is a sin,
06:16 it is disobedience.
06:18 The categorization that is done to this,
06:20 this division is in the context of the command.
06:23 Okay.
06:24 What is the command?
06:26 It is a sin, but the categorization is in the context of the command.
06:31 In the context of the command.
06:32 We divide it in the context of the command.
06:34 What is the command?
06:36 On which sin is it necessary to repent?
06:39 On which sin is there a repentance along with repentance?
06:42 Okay.
06:43 Some sins are such that not only repentance is sufficient,
06:46 but also repentance is necessary.
06:48 And which sin is it that we have to avoid?
06:52 Which we have to avoid.
06:54 Yes, which we have to avoid.
06:57 We have to consider it as small and not to do it.
06:59 We have to consider it as disappointing,
07:01 and we have to save ourselves from it.
07:03 I will give some examples of the Prophets,
07:07 peace be upon them,
07:09 in support of this.
07:11 Number one,
07:13 see, if from them,
07:15 sin is a very far thing.
07:17 Why?
07:18 "Al-anbiya'uhu kulluhum ma'so'moon"
07:21 All the Prophets and Messengers of Allah, peace be upon them,
07:24 are all innocent.
07:26 So this can't be imagined.
07:29 But if they understood a task better than themselves,
07:34 and that task was against the children,
07:37 then they complained so much about it,
07:40 and cried so much,
07:42 and in the presence of Allah,
07:43 they made so much forgiveness,
07:45 then this teaches us that
07:48 even a small task which leads to disobeying Allah,
07:52 we should not do it.
07:53 "Al-anbiya'uhu kulluhum ma'so'moon"
07:56 Meaning, what was not better for them,
07:58 and they did it,
08:00 and despite that,
08:03 they cried so much,
08:06 and were so disappointed,
08:08 that when it comes to Adam, peace be upon him,
08:10 when he came to earth,
08:12 he did not look up to the sky for 300 years,
08:14 because of his modesty.
08:16 "Fatalqa Adamu min Rabbihi kalimatin fataba 'alayhi"
08:21 In the same way,
08:22 you see, Yunus, peace be upon him,
08:24 that he did not have time to leave his nation,
08:27 and he left,
08:29 and what happened after that?
08:31 "La ilaha illa anta subhanaka innikuntu minaz zalimeen"
08:35 "Although the prophets, peace be upon them,
08:37 are all innocent,
08:39 there is no possibility of any sin being committed against them."
08:44 I am against this,
08:46 because many people,
08:48 with such verses,
08:50 did so much about the prophets,
08:52 which made them understand,
08:54 and they started doing it.
08:56 So, it is said that all prophets are innocent.
08:58 "Alnabiyu nabiyun walau kaana fee batni ummihi"
09:02 This is the meaning of the Shara'i Qaid,
09:04 that a prophet is a prophet even when he is in his mother's womb.
09:08 Even then he is a prophet.
09:10 So, now we see,
09:12 that if we see,
09:14 that this is a big sin and a small sin.
09:18 Generally, a big sin is said,
09:20 even from a juristic perspective,
09:22 that whose promises are mentioned in the Quran and Hadith.
09:26 On which there is a punishment,
09:28 or whose promises Allah the Almighty has mentioned in the Quran,
09:31 or the Prophet, peace be upon him,
09:33 has mentioned in the Hadith.
09:35 And a small sin,
09:37 meaning a small sin,
09:39 whose promises are not in the Quran and Sunnah,
09:42 but it is a sin,
09:44 and Allah has commanded to be safe from it.
09:47 Now, what is a big sin?
09:50 For example, leaving obligations and duties.
09:53 This is a big sin.
09:55 Similarly,
09:57 leaving Sunnah and Nawafil,
10:01 leaving Mustahabbat,
10:03 is not a sin.
10:05 [Hassan] Not all people think that
10:07 leaving obligations and duties is a sin.
10:09 With your permission, I can go to a Waqfah.
10:12 Then InshaAllah, Rehmani Sahib will refer to you,
10:15 and learn from you. Stay with us.
10:17 For all the viewers of Roshan,
10:19 today's topic is sin and reward.
10:21 And with us is respected Mufti Suhail Azam Jadid Sahib,
10:24 and respected Allama Khurram Iqbal Rehmani Sahib.
10:27 When we went to the Waqfah,
10:29 Mufti Sahib was telling that
10:31 in a small sin and a big sin,
10:33 there are two sins,
10:35 like leaving obligations and duties.
10:37 [Ghamidi] If you have left obligations and duties,
10:39 then you have to repent and also pay the punishment.
10:42 If you have left Sunnah,
10:44 then it is okay, it is bad.
10:47 But you should not leave Sunnah.
10:50 But if you have left it,
10:52 then God forbid, it is not a warning.
10:54 If you leave Sunnah with Tawatur,
10:56 then it is a warning.
10:58 Similarly, committing Haram.
11:01 Haram is a sin of lying,
11:03 of deceit, of stealing someone's property.
11:06 Similarly, committing Shirk is also a sin.
11:09 It is out of the Daryasahab.
11:11 If you hurt someone,
11:13 then you can lie about some sins,
11:15 and ask for forgiveness.
11:17 But if it is a matter of Haq-ul-Abd,
11:19 then you have to go and make amends for it.
11:22 Similarly, if the sins become small,
11:25 if they become small sins,
11:27 and you start talking nonsense,
11:29 then the sins become small.
11:31 If you do not leave it,
11:33 then in the future,
11:35 these sins will become big sins,
11:37 in the form of deceit,
11:39 in the form of lying,
11:41 in the form of hurting someone.
11:43 If the sins become small,
11:45 then Allah says,
11:47 "Do good deeds,
11:49 pray, do good deeds,
11:51 and you will keep doing good deeds.
11:53 Allah will forgive your sins."
11:55 So this small sin will keep forgiving.
11:57 So from one Friday to the next Friday,
11:59 small sins.
12:01 Similarly, we remember Allah,
12:03 recite Durood-e-Paak,
12:05 do good deeds,
12:07 then all these small sins
12:09 become Kaffarah.
12:11 Allah forgives.
12:13 Sir, Mr. Rehmani,
12:15 we have understood
12:17 which are the small sins
12:19 and which are the big sins.
12:21 Now, one more thing,
12:23 there are some sins,
12:25 which a person is doing,
12:27 spiritually,
12:29 so this physical and spiritual sin,
12:31 which is visible or not visible,
12:33 how will we understand these two?
12:35 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
12:37 And peace and blessings be upon His Messenger,
12:39 the Most Generous.
12:41 In the Holy Quran, Allah, the Exalted,
12:43 has said,
12:45 "And leave off the outward and the inward sins."
12:47 And leave off.
12:49 Whether it is physical sin or spiritual sin,
12:51 leave off all.
12:53 So, in this verse,
12:55 the commentators have quoted some statements
12:57 that what is meant by physical sin
12:59 and spiritual sin.
13:01 Generally,
13:03 one thing has been stated
13:05 that the sins which are made
13:07 in public,
13:09 in public,
13:11 are physical sins.
13:13 And the sins which are done in private,
13:15 in solitude,
13:17 Allah is watching.
13:19 So, the sins which are done in private,
13:21 are spiritual sins.
13:23 This is one statement.
13:25 So, Allah has said that
13:27 you should not commit sins in public
13:29 and also not in private.
13:31 Just like the disobedience of Allah
13:33 is not right or permissible in public,
13:35 so the permission to do disobedience in private,
13:37 just like in a gathering,
13:39 Allah is watching you,
13:41 so in solitude,
13:43 whether anyone sees or not,
13:45 Allah is watching you.
13:47 So,
13:49 the moral of the story is
13:51 that you are a believer in solitude
13:53 and also in a gathering.
13:55 It should not be that in a gathering,
13:57 you see righteousness and piety,
13:59 in a gathering, you see worship,
14:01 in a gathering, you see purification.
14:03 But, in solitude, there is no purification.
14:05 But, when there is solitude,
14:07 and the clothes of the body have changed,
14:09 then the worship of the personality has also changed.
14:11 And now, in the state of solitude,
14:13 this person is feeling that since no one is watching,
14:15 so perhaps, God is also not watching.
14:17 So, when the state of solitude changes,
14:19 then, as it is said,
14:21 when you feel shame while committing a sin in public,
14:23 then you should feel shame while committing a sin in private.
14:25 So, do not commit a public sin,
14:27 and also do not commit a sin in private.
14:29 The second statement that was stated
14:31 is that,
14:33 the sin in the physical sense
14:35 is the sin that is visible to people
14:37 from the physical body.
14:39 Like,
14:41 we leave the prayer,
14:43 people come to know that we did not offer the prayer.
14:45 We lied to them,
14:47 we hurt them physically,
14:49 we frauded them,
14:51 they came to know.
14:53 So, these are the sins that we are
14:55 showing to people from our physical body,
14:57 and people are able to see it.
14:59 And, the inner sins are those
15:01 that are being committed in the heart.
15:03 Like, having a bad intention,
15:05 arrogance, showing off,
15:07 having hatred and enmity
15:09 for others in your heart,
15:11 feeling superior and better than others,
15:13 these are the sins that
15:15 people feel in their hearts,
15:17 and are not being shown through actions.
15:19 So, the glory of Allah is that
15:21 He sees the things that you show
15:23 through your actions,
15:25 and He knows
15:27 what you hide in your heart.
15:29 "Wa Allahu Ya'lamu Maa Fis-Sudur"
15:31 He knows.
15:33 He knows everything that is hidden in your heart.
15:35 So, the way you feel shame
15:37 while committing an outward sin
15:39 from your actions,
15:41 He knows that you did it.
15:43 Similarly, the intention of committing a sin
15:45 in your heart, never commit a sin in your heart
15:47 because there is nothing hidden
15:49 from Allah.
15:51 So, you can understand that Islam is
15:53 training the soul
15:55 that the sin should not be in front of people,
15:57 should not be in loneliness,
15:59 should not be from your body,
16:01 and should not be in your heart.
16:03 A person should try to keep himself
16:05 away from disobeying Allah
16:07 in every situation.
16:09 And should be in a state
16:11 that whether anyone sees or not,
16:13 nothing is hidden from the eyes of Allah.
16:15 My actions are not hidden,
16:17 and my intention is not hidden.
16:19 When you come in this state,
16:21 then God willing,
16:23 you will be saved from outward sins
16:25 and from inner sins as well.
16:27 God willing, you will be saved
16:29 from disobedience.
16:31 The character of a person,
16:33 if he commits an inner sin,
16:35 if he is arrogant,
16:37 then this character
16:39 is visible and becomes apparent.
16:41 The inner sins are not hidden.
16:43 But a person sometimes denies.
16:45 He says, "No, no, you are wrong,
16:47 I am not doing this."
16:49 So, it is possible that you deny in front of people
16:51 that no, no, it is not like that,
16:53 you are wrong.
16:55 But he knows the difference between hearts.
16:57 It is true.
16:59 Like someone fasts,
17:01 whether he is in front of someone or not,
17:03 we know that Allah is watching,
17:05 so we don't go alone
17:07 and drink water.
17:09 This belief is always there.
17:11 Sir, on the basis of some
17:13 interpretation,
17:15 that if someone has committed a sin,
17:17 it is a small sin,
17:19 and there is an interpretation.
17:21 To think of any sin as a small sin
17:23 and say that nothing happens,
17:25 this also happens often.
17:27 Ibn-e-Mufsid has said very beautiful things.
17:29 Here I would like to say
17:31 that the fundamental thing is
17:33 that if you have committed a small sin,
17:35 a small sin,
17:37 you should not do it,
17:39 but if you have, then immediately
17:41 express your shame on it.
17:43 And Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace,
17:45 even if it is a small sin,
17:47 in the form of doing good,
17:49 in the form of giving charity,
17:51 in the form of doing good deeds,
17:53 Allah Almighty forgives in the same way.
17:55 See,
17:57 "And I will perform prayer,
17:59 and I will not be displeased with the night."
18:01 Allah Almighty has indicated that
18:03 five prayers,
18:05 these good deeds will
18:07 take away your small sins.
18:09 SubhanAllah.
18:11 Then,
18:13 one more thing should be taken care of,
18:15 that when a person commits a sin,
18:17 a black spot appears in the heart.
18:19 And if after that he repents,
18:21 it is washed away.
18:23 He does good deeds, it is washed away.
18:25 But if he is resistant to it,
18:27 then those black spots
18:29 keep increasing
18:31 until the whole heart becomes black.
18:33 Astaghfirullah.
18:35 "And I will not be displeased with the night,
18:37 even if it is a small sin."
18:39 Then the Prophet (pbuh) recited this verse,
18:41 then the black spot appears.
18:43 And remember that this black spot,
18:45 we cannot clean it like iron,
18:47 we cannot wash it away.
18:49 Then we will have to repent,
18:51 and we will have to turn to Allah.
18:53 Yes, then we will have to do the recitation of the Holy Quran,
18:55 the mention of death.
18:57 Now, let's come to this point.
18:59 "O ye who believe!
19:01 turn to Allah with repentance."
19:03 When you commit a sin,
19:05 then repent according to His requirements.
19:07 Where there is a punishment,
19:09 do the punishment.
19:11 Where there is a right of the servant,
19:13 do the reward.
19:15 "I ask your Lord to forgive you your sins,
19:17 and to admit you into the Gardens of Paradise,
19:19 under the River of Fire."
19:21 Then we hope that Allah will forgive your sins.
19:23 Okay, to commit a sin,
19:25 to consider a small sin as a big sin,
19:27 is a very good thing.
19:29 But to consider a small sin as a big sin,
19:31 and to commit it,
19:33 is not a good thing.
19:35 This is not a good thing.
19:37 You should repent immediately.
19:39 So that Allah does not take you to Him.
19:41 What is the reason for this?
19:43 If you commit a small sin,
19:45 you will not be ashamed.
19:47 And then you keep on doing it.
19:49 Eventually,
19:51 He will take you to the sin of Kabir.
19:53 For example,
19:55 if a person hides things
19:57 in someone's jokes,
19:59 and he does not get rid of it,
20:01 eventually,
20:03 he will commit theft.
20:05 Okay,
20:07 if a person is used to
20:09 useless talk,
20:11 and does not feel ashamed,
20:13 and keeps himself busy with it,
20:15 eventually,
20:17 he starts hurting people.
20:19 He starts saying all these things,
20:21 like stealing,
20:23 and all these things,
20:25 which are a part of the sin of Kabir.
20:27 This is a loss.
20:29 That is why,
20:31 the Hadeeth is pure,
20:33 that you should not consider a small sin as a big sin.
20:35 Allah has hidden the sins
20:37 in His sins,
20:39 so that a person is not afraid
20:41 of big or small sins.
20:43 He has hidden them in the sins,
20:45 so one should be careful of small sins.
20:47 Allah says,
20:49 Do not consider a sin as a big sin,
20:51 and leave it,
20:53 because Allah has hidden His sins
20:55 in His good deeds.
20:57 Similarly, Allah has hidden
20:59 His saints in the people,
21:01 so that a person
21:03 does not consider anyone as a real person,
21:05 but he appreciates everyone,
21:07 so that he can get a chance to appreciate them.
21:09 That is why,
21:11 it is also a loss to consider a sin as a small sin.
21:13 Then,
21:15 after committing a sin,
21:17 it is also a loss to consider a sin as a big sin.
21:19 This will make us stand in a place
21:21 where there is no way
21:23 to return.
21:25 This is not possible.
21:27 In this way,
21:29 we see that there is anger.
21:31 Sir, do you allow me to continue?
21:33 Yes, of course.
21:35 Please stay with us.
21:37 For everyone,
21:39 today's topic is about sin and reward.
21:41 Respected Mufti Muhammad Suhail Azam Jadid
21:43 and Respected Allama Khurram Iqbal Rahmani
21:45 are with us.
21:47 They went for Waqf.
21:49 They were discussing
21:51 that considering any sin as a small sin
21:53 is a big sin.
21:55 This is what Mufti Sahib told us.
21:57 In our society,
21:59 there is a creature
22:01 who considers Kabira as a small sin.
22:03 This is a very big sin.
22:05 This is a very big sin.
22:07 And this, God forbid,
22:09 takes us to the depths of disbelief.
22:11 We are saying
22:13 that you should not consider a small sin
22:15 as a big sin.
22:17 I will give you some examples
22:19 of how a small sin
22:21 can take us to a big sin.
22:23 For example, anger.
22:25 Anger is a small sin.
22:27 Anger is a natural thing.
22:29 It comes naturally.
22:31 But if you increase your anger
22:33 and start expressing it,
22:35 the consequences
22:37 will be very bad.
22:39 It will kill a person.
22:41 It will kill a person.
22:43 But it is not a joke.
22:45 It is not a joke.
22:47 It is anger.
22:49 And later, it regrets.
22:51 Similarly, anger,
22:53 fights, and personal fights,
22:55 and relationships with friends
22:57 are big sins.
22:59 I was going to say the third thing.
23:01 No divorce is made
23:03 out of love and affection.
23:05 Mufti Sahib is present.
23:07 He has given divorce to so many people.
23:09 Divorce is not made out of anger.
23:11 Divorce is made out of love and affection.
23:13 Divorce is made out of anger.
23:15 When anger is at its peak,
23:17 then it is not
23:19 late to go towards
23:21 a big sin.
23:23 Divorce is made out of three divorces.
23:25 God forbid.
23:27 Later, you regret.
23:29 That is why we say
23:31 that you should leave a small sin.
23:33 God willing, you will never go
23:35 towards a big sin.
23:37 That is why we follow
23:39 Sufism.
23:41 It is not like that.
23:43 They say that sin is bad.
23:45 They say something else.
23:47 They say that you should not even think
23:49 about sin.
23:51 If you do not think about it,
23:53 you will not go towards sin.
23:55 If you think about it,
23:57 you will go towards sin.
23:59 So, do not even think about sin.
24:01 Sir, some people say that
24:03 doing it once in a while
24:05 is a sin.
24:07 It is not true.
24:09 What would you say about them?
24:11 As Qibla Mufti has said,
24:13 the fact is that
24:15 doing it once in a while
24:17 turns into a daily habit.
24:19 And this is a very
24:21 careless statement.
24:23 It is not the
24:25 service of a believer.
24:27 A believer is one who
24:29 is completely submissive to God's will.
24:31 And he does not
24:33 even think about
24:35 displeasing God.
24:37 His attitude should be
24:39 that he should only
24:41 please God.
24:43 He should live his life
24:45 in this attitude.
24:47 But this attitude
24:49 and thinking that
24:51 sometimes it works,
24:53 and people also say that
24:55 Allah is Merciful.
24:57 So, Allah's attribute name
24:59 is not just Merciful.
25:01 He is also a justifier.
25:03 He is the owner of the religion.
25:05 And he has stated all these attributes
25:07 in the Quran.
25:09 And the fast that will be established
25:11 will be for the expression of these attributes.
25:13 So, Allah's attribute of mercy
25:15 should be
25:17 made fun of.
25:19 If someone says to his parents
25:21 that their parents are
25:23 mischievous and they should
25:25 disobey them,
25:27 then they get angry and
25:29 they get angry.
25:31 So, a believer should not
25:33 be mischievous.
25:35 The second thing is,
25:37 as Qibla Mufti has said,
25:39 that sometimes,
25:41 as you have pointed out in the
25:43 Hadith, if one sin is committed,
25:45 then a dot is placed on the heart.
25:47 And if one does not repent,
25:49 then the dot keeps increasing.
25:51 So, if a person commits
25:53 small sins, then
25:55 it starts moving from small to big.
25:57 The pride of the righteous is that
25:59 they fear Allah's disobedience.
26:01 In fact,
26:03 the pride of Allah is that
26:05 those innocent angels
26:07 who do not commit sins,
26:09 they also fear
26:11 the presence of the Lord of the worlds.
26:13 [Arabic]
26:15 [Arabic]
26:17 [Arabic]
26:19 So, these are the attributes
26:21 of the angels who do not commit sins.
26:23 So, when we will establish
26:25 the pride of the Lord,
26:27 then what will happen
26:29 if some of these actions
26:31 are committed in His court?
26:33 What are the disadvantages of this?
26:35 We can understand this
26:37 in terms of health.
26:39 If a health minister
26:41 uses something,
26:43 then the use of it once
26:45 can cause a loss of life.
26:47 It is poison.
26:49 He said, "Eat it once,
26:51 then you will not have to eat it again."
26:53 So, those addictive things
26:55 can also cause a loss of life.
26:57 Exactly. Sometimes,
26:59 he becomes addicted to
27:01 addictions and bad things.
27:03 He becomes addicted to
27:05 bad things and bad company.
27:07 Even if he tries to quit,
27:09 he cannot. It becomes very difficult.
27:11 And because of this,
27:13 he commits more sins.
27:15 Now, when a person commits sins,
27:17 the first loss is that
27:19 he is deprived of the opportunity
27:21 to worship Allah.
27:23 When a person is physically ill,
27:25 he does not want to work.
27:27 He is lazy. He does not want
27:29 to go to work. He does not want
27:31 to meet anyone. Similarly,
27:33 when a person is addicted to sins,
27:35 he does not want to worship Allah.
27:37 A person who is adhan and
27:39 is not praying,
27:41 is not fasting in Ramadan,
27:43 does not want to recite the Quran,
27:45 he should check his faith.
27:47 What is the reason
27:49 for this? He is addicted.
27:51 His soul is not inclined to worship Allah.
27:53 So, this happens from time to time.
27:55 And the biggest loss of this
27:57 is that Allah says,
27:59 "Iman"
28:01 and he washes his hands.
28:03 A person writes to Imam Ghazalis
28:05 in his book, "Muqashifat-ul Qulub",
28:07 and he is committing sins in this hope.
28:09 Allah says, "I will forgive the sins of the believers."
28:11 I am a believer too. I will keep committing sins.
28:13 So, Allah says, "This forgiveness
28:15 is at the time when
28:17 your faith is safe."
28:19 When your faith is safe.
28:21 Then this is the announcement of forgiveness
28:23 from Allah. But if
28:25 Allah does not protect your faith
28:27 at the time of death,
28:29 then the plant of faith
28:31 is watered with worship.
28:33 When water is given with worship,
28:35 its branches will be strong.
28:37 And when the evil whispers come,
28:39 at the time of death,
28:41 then with the help of those whispers,
28:43 this faith will be protected.
28:45 But if the root of the plant is weak,
28:47 if the trunk of the plant is weak,
28:49 if there is no air, it will fall.
28:51 So, in the hadith of Mubarak,
28:53 when the evil whispers come,
28:55 it is the same whispers that you become
28:57 a Christian, a Jew, or whatever religion you choose.
28:59 So, the biggest problem of
29:01 the sin of sinlessness is that
29:03 a person takes the anger of Allah
29:05 so much that at the time of death
29:07 his faith is not safe.
29:09 And if the end of faith
29:11 is not there, then in the hereafter
29:13 only destruction is destruction.
29:15 And if by the grace of Allah
29:17 the faith is ended,
29:19 then imagine the disaster of sins
29:21 that will have to be faced in the hereafter,
29:23 which will have to be burned in the fire of hell.
29:25 If we imagine for a moment,
29:27 then we cannot tolerate
29:29 that if the fire of the world
29:31 is lit a little, then we cannot tolerate it.
29:33 So, the torment there,
29:35 if an ant bites, then it cannot be tolerated.
29:37 If poisonous animals bite and bite,
29:39 then how will they tolerate it?
29:41 If the fear of Allah is there,
29:43 then this thing of sometimes
29:45 will also leave the mind of a person
29:47 and he will say that I have never
29:49 disobeyed my Lord.
29:51 The concept of nothingness will end.
29:53 One thing I would like to add here
29:55 that if, because the self is also
29:57 with us and the devil is also there,
29:59 there is deceit and also there is whispers,
30:01 if this ever happens,
30:03 then instead of being a Jari,
30:05 one should immediately repent to the Lord.
30:07 Like the Prophet's words,
30:09 he did not commit a sin,
30:11 he committed a crime against Allah,
30:13 but still,
30:15 (Arabic)
30:17 One should immediately turn to Allah
30:19 because the whispers
30:21 from the devil after committing a sin,
30:23 the Jari on the sins,
30:25 removes it from the mercy of Allah.
30:27 Allah likes those people who repent
30:29 and ask forgiveness for sins in the court of Allah.
30:31 Allah likes them.
30:33 [Hassan] MashaAllah, absolutely.
30:35 Sir, you had said in your speeches
30:37 that the method of remediation
30:39 of sins, you had said some things.
30:41 Now, please tell us in detail
30:43 what are the methods of remediation
30:45 of sins?
30:47 [Ghamidi] See, the sin which is
30:49 limited to its own self,
30:51 for example, lying,
30:53 is a great sin,
30:55 performing the prayer,
30:57 or in fact, we take the prayer
30:59 later,
31:01 any such thing,
31:03 God forbid, Allah forbid,
31:05 so the remedy for that is
31:07 to repent in the court of Allah.
31:09 (Arabic)
31:11 Admitting a crime,
31:13 expressing shame,
31:15 and not to commit a sin in the future.
31:17 It is a sin, or something else.
31:19 So, that sin,
31:21 in the absence of it, you will be asked for forgiveness.
31:23 That sin, whose matter is limited
31:25 to your own self,
31:27 even if it is a great sin,
31:29 there is no need to tell anyone,
31:31 do not even mention it in front of anyone,
31:33 okay? You will be forgiven by repentance.
31:35 Some sins are such
31:37 that not only
31:39 repentance is the solution,
31:41 but you have to
31:43 atone for it,
31:45 or you have to pay the penalty.
31:47 For example, leaving the prayer,
31:49 leaving the fast,
31:51 or breaking the fast,
31:53 that is different,
31:55 you go a little further.
31:57 So, if you leave the prayer,
31:59 then after repentance, you will not be forgiven.
32:01 After repentance,
32:03 you will have to promise with a sincere heart,
32:05 that as much as you have left the prayer,
32:07 I will atone for it, as much as you have left the fast,
32:09 I will atone for it. And those things
32:11 that are also forgiven,
32:13 now let's talk about those things,
32:15 that you deliberately left the fast,
32:17 now the remedy for that is to first
32:19 repent in the presence of Allah,
32:21 that why did you deliberately break the fast?
32:23 Now, let's come to the forgiveness,
32:25 that you have to keep 60 fasts on your feet,
32:27 if you do not have the strength for that,
32:29 then you have to feed the people of that time.
32:31 Similarly, you are in a state of Ihraam,
32:33 and there are some mistakes
32:35 that you have to repent,
32:37 and give charity, etc.
32:39 Some mistakes are such
32:41 that you have to repent,
32:43 and leave the obligatory,
32:45 then the remedy for leaving the obligatory
32:47 will be that you have to give
32:49 your life in the presence of Allah,
32:51 in the holy sanctuary,
32:53 similarly, there are some sins
32:55 that you have to repent,
32:57 and you have to pay for that.
32:59 Now, for example,
33:01 you have stolen someone's money,
33:03 you have heard about some religious scholar,
33:05 you should repent,
33:07 you should repent,
33:09 you should repent,
33:11 no, no, this is not repentance,
33:13 repentance will be complete at that time,
33:15 that the one whose money you have stolen,
33:17 whose heart is hurt,
33:19 whose heart is in need,
33:21 you should go and compensate him,
33:23 he should forgive him without any pressure,
33:25 and that repentance should not be formal,
33:27 there was a message,
33:29 I sent it to everyone,
33:31 yes, I repented,
33:33 after repenting in the presence of Allah,
33:35 either you should pay for the money,
33:37 or at least without any pressure,
33:39 he should forgive you,
33:41 so these were some things,
33:43 now, Allah is so generous,
33:45 the Prophet (PBUH) says,
33:47 that there are some sins
33:49 that are not compensated
33:51 by the great virtues,
33:53 but if that person
33:55 commits a sin in the way of
33:57 the lawful means,
33:59 then Allah (SWT)
34:01 will try to forgive him
34:03 for the sins he has committed,
34:05 second thing,
34:07 Allah says,
34:09 that if he works hard for the lawful means,
34:11 then his small sins
34:13 will be reduced to such a degree,
34:15 that in the season of Khazaan,
34:17 the leaves of the trees fall down,
34:19 so apart from this,
34:21 here I would like to say,
34:23 like I said,
34:25 some sins are compensated by the lawful means,
34:27 some are good and good deeds,
34:29 some are compensated by the lawful means,
34:31 after repentance,
34:33 or if you want to pay for the money,
34:35 so keep all these things in mind,
34:37 and we say,
34:39 that everything will be fine,
34:41 we have repented,
34:43 Allah knows,
34:45 I will not do bad things in the future,
34:47 you should not do this at all,
34:49 as it has been stated in the Quran,
34:51 you should try to do it in that way,
34:53 especially,
34:55 you were completely bound by your promise,
34:57 Allah gave you death before that,
34:59 then Allah will forgive him,
35:01 but if it is a matter of the lawful means,
35:03 then first he will make him forgive,
35:05 he will promise him a reward,
35:07 he will say,
35:09 Maulana, I have forgiven him,
35:11 then only will he be forgiven,
35:13 otherwise he will not be.
35:15 [Hassan] Okay, time is less,
35:17 I will go to the next question,
35:19 is the payment of the lawful means,
35:21 in the form of murder,
35:23 is that also a cause of compensation?
35:25 [Ghamidi] See, if someone has committed a murder,
35:27 intentionally,
35:29 then his compensation,
35:31 I am going to move ahead,
35:33 his compensation is that his life should be taken,
35:35 [Hassan] The lawful means,
35:37 that is the story,
35:39 [Ghamidi] If the heirs of the deceased are content,
35:41 that okay, we forgive him,
35:43 and instead of that,
35:45 if he gives the lawful means,
35:47 then giving the lawful means is necessary,
35:49 it is not that he should pressurize,
35:51 forgive him, do this, no,
35:53 if he himself forgives, it is his will,
35:55 but if he does not forgive,
35:57 then giving the lawful means is necessary,
35:59 without that, the repentance will not be acceptable.
36:01 Similarly, if a murder is committed,
36:03 then there is also a lawful means,
36:05 without that, the life will not be spared.
36:07 [Hassan] Okay, he is saying,
36:09 that intentionally leaving the fast,
36:11 and breaking the fast,
36:13 that is also breaking,
36:15 [Ghamidi] This is that he was sick,
36:17 or he was given such a lawful means,
36:19 that he was forced to break the fast,
36:21 at that time there is no lawful means,
36:23 he will do the punishment later,
36:25 but intentionally breaking the fast,
36:27 there is a lawful means,
36:29 [Hassan] Sir, thank you very much,
36:31 [Ghamidi] There is a lawful means,
36:33 [Hassan] That is why I am asking you,
36:35 thank you very much,
36:37 Respected Mukhtar Suleiman,
36:39 Respected Allama Khurram Iqbal Rehmani,
36:41 you have gained some knowledge,
36:43 remember it in your prayers,
36:45 Allah Hafiz.
