00:00The National Security Council has ruled out China's involvement in the current administration related to the Ayungin Shoal.

00:10Chino Gaston has the final say.

00:15That's not true.

00:17That's the answer of the Philippines to the statement of the Chinese Embassy that there is a co-operation between Beijing and the current administration related to the Ayungin Shoal.

00:25AFP Western Commando Wescom Omano has reached an agreement with the Defense Department and the National Security Council or NSC.

00:34But the NSC said,

00:36This is pure and clearly fake news on the part of the Chinese Embassy.

00:42The Foreign Affairs and Defense Departments and the AFP have denied that there is a co-operation between the Marcos Administration and China.

00:50I don't think there is any cause for the investigation because this narrative coming from China is simply, you know, there to create dissent and sow disinformation to our countrymen.

01:06The Philippine Coast Guard has also noticed that China is just spouting nonsensical words whenever they dock PCG and BFAR ships in the West Philippine Sea.

01:16They want to justify why this kind of aggressive actions by China is also being amplified by pro-China trolls without naming names.

01:29These influencers somehow are affecting the Filipino people's appreciation of what's really happening in the West Philippine Sea.

01:39Meanwhile, another Philippine Coast Guard sent a ship to the Sabina Shoal to support BRP Teresa Magbanwa,

01:45who has been monitoring the Chinese militia vessels there for a week.

01:52According to security analyst Ray Powell,

01:54BRP Magbanwa has investigated the possible docking of crushed corals in Bahura,

02:01as seen in San Dike near Pag-asa and Mayrozul Reef in Mayrecto Bank.

02:07China has previously mentioned that its Gentleman's Agreement and the Duterte Administration wants a senator to investigate.

02:15Why is it important that the Senate exercises oversight over this Gentleman's Agreement,

02:22even in the last administration?

02:26Because it will have implications moving forward.

02:30Could a past president surrender our right to fortify installations within these domains?

02:38These are questions that the legislature needs to understand and wrestle with.

02:44Although the former spokesperson of the Gentleman's Agreement confirmed that the former President Rodrigo Duterte

02:51has not surrendered to China in his term,

02:53even though there is a change of control in some territories and there is no guarantee of China's entry into the EEZ.
