21:14 on the nature of their parents and their grandparents.
21:19 And this generational division has become apparent to us
21:23 through these protests.
21:25 The old generation that runs the universities and the police
21:30 is stopping them.
21:32 And you're a world expert.
21:34 The whole world is watching them.
21:36 And the university presidents today are afraid of this.
21:40 They see how the police respond to these peaceful protests.
21:45 This doesn't send a good message to other countries,
21:49 especially countries that don't live in a democratic society.
21:54 Dr. Mohamed, perhaps Mr. Adam will agree with me on this.
21:58 Most Americans enjoy a local culture.
22:02 And if I asked them about what's happening in the Middle East
22:05 or mentioned a country's name in the Middle East,
22:07 they might not know where it is, and think it's the US.
22:11 I'm not talking about historical ignorance and geography,
22:14 as much as they're more interested in the internal affairs.
22:17 Do you think this educated class of students will ignore their parents
22:21 and neighbors who worked and worked hard for a living,
22:26 and so they ignore what's happening outside the US
22:30 and what the Middle East is really like,
22:32 and how this will affect their future elections?
22:38 In fact, unfortunately, it's the opposite.
22:41 It's due to the size of the US media that pushes the debate in another direction.
22:49 What happens in American universities and debates within American universities
22:52 is a youth debate that lacks American public opinion.
22:55 What happens there is disassembled by American media.
22:59 In the US media process, the protest movement and the police's dealings with it
23:05 transformed the debate from a matter of freedom of expression
23:12 to a debate on the details of how the protest movement
23:17 violated the laws in some details,
23:20 such as the transition from protest to siege,
